What I Do For Love As a Guardian Angel
Taemin’s POV
I sighed looking at the soaked paper. Geez! What do I do with this? I scratched my head as I glanced the
paper again. “Well, I can still see some of the words..” I said to myself. I took a clean piece of paper and
jotted everything that I can still see from the paper, I also wrote it a little neater for me to easily read.
TOOK ME LIKE FOUR HOURS TO REWRITE AND PLAN OUT! Now that I’m done, it’s time to shop!
I walked out of my room in search of my hyungs, might as well ask them since we didn’t do some
Christmas shopping yet. In result, I only saw Key and Onew, visible in the dorm. I guess Minho and
Jonghyun went to visittheir families like they said they would before.
“Key hyung.” I approached to Key who was polishing the dishes in the kitchen. “Do we have time to go
Christmas shopping right now?”
Key finished washing the last dish and dried his hands before replying to me. “Sure, like Onew can come
with us right?”
We looked at Onew who was into stuffing his own mouth with chicken. We both rolled our eyes
and Key asked him again in a louder voice. Onew finally heard and replied with a simple nod and resume
back to his eating session. In 20 minutes we all got ready for the mall.
When we arrived there, the three of us separated in the huge mall and would meet each other at the entrance
in two hours time. Of course, you wouldn’t shop with someone that’ll get you a present. It’s like Secret
Santa, it’s suppose to be a surprise.
I roamed around the mall buying presents for everyone. It sure didn’t take me long to buy something for
my hyungs. I bought a Toy Story keychain for Key, a new soccer ball for Minho, a Justin Bieber CD,
and chicken coupons for Onew. (A/N: Sorry, the gifts sound so lame! There’s also a reason why I chose them too)
Hmm.. Min Ni would be back in time for Christmas right? So, I should buy her a gift. I roamed around
the mall again looking for anything that’ll suit her. Aish. This will take me a long time. I don’t even know
what’s her clothing style. I don’t know what sort of stuff she likes. Would she like jewelry? Let me see
if I can afford it first. I speed walked into a jewelry store as I fixed up my disguise so my fans wouldn’t
recognize me. I don’t wait any scandals of me, not even before Christmas.
I glanced through all the jewelry that might suit Min Ni. “Amethyst or Diamond..” I mumbled to myself.
I just remembered about the price, I asked the woman who’s at the other side of the glass displays,
“What’s the range of the prices you have in this shop.”
She replied, “Our prices at minimum of fifty dollars to the maximum as one thousand.
Ouu. Kay So.. I can afford something at least, I still have two hundred bucks in my wallet. I looked for
something pretty and affordable.
I came across to the best two necklaces;
Which one would fit her well? Which one would she like better. Thoughts and questions ran through
my head. Then I got interrupted by a voice from behind me..
“Taemin? Is that you?” A delicate- soft voice spoke.
OH SHIZZ. FANGIRL? I ignored her hoping she’ll walk away.
“Hello? Taemin?” She asked again.
MY. GOSH. SHE’S STILL HERE? I fixed my beanie making sure wouldn’t recognize me as Taemin.
I turned around and saw..
Jessica –Noona!?
“Oh thank goodness! I thought you were a fangirl!” I sighed in relief.
“Haha. Mianhe.” Jessica said. “Anyways, I happened to be shopping here, and I saw you. What are you
doing here?”
“Buying a gift for my girlfriend.” I try to say softly, but I guess she heard.
“Oh really? Do you need help?” She asked looking at me.
“Yeah, I really do! Which one do you think she’ll like?” I asked pointing the two necklaces I was thinking
about just now.
“I think the heart necklace looks really pretty. But I think the star would suit her well. The heart one looks
better with Ahjummas, and the star would look great with your sweetheart.”
I nodded taking her opinion in my head. “Do you think she’ll like stars or hearts?”
“Well, what’s her personality like?”
“She’s really kind, considerate, caring, gullible, clumsy and really silly.”
“I think you should get the star then.” Jessica said looking at the star necklace that was displaying in the
glass cabinet.
“Oh., alright then.” I asked the sales woman to get me the necklace, and I paid for it as she packed it in
a black box.
“Gift wrap?” The woman kindly asked.
I saw a wrapping that has designs of a chibi boy and girl angel. “The angel one, please.” I pointed to the
one I spotted my eyes on.
After wrapping she handed me the neatly wrapped gift and I safely placed it in my bag. Jessica and I
walked out of the shop, and I thank her for helping me, then we parted ways. I made my way to the
entrance, seeing Onew there already.
“Where’s Key? Is he here yet, or is it just you?” I approached to Onew.
“Nope just me.” He smiled. “What did you get huh?”
“Yah! Onew hyung! It’s not Christmas yet, you will have to wait.”
“Oh, fine,” he pouted.
“Oh, Key hyung is here.” I waved to Key from afar.
He waved back and I saw.. two.. three.. four.. EIGHT SHOPPING BAGS?
“Woahh! Key! Why do you have a lot?” Onew asked in shock tone.
“Mwo? I have shopping for the food and the presents, and well.. new clothes for myself.” He smiled.
We, then exited the mall, and head back to the dorm.
