Your POV

After a while, the bell rang. Junhyung and I reported back to class for literature. However, it was hard to keep myself focused as Junhyung kept fidgetting by the side, causing me to drift away from Ms Han’s lesson. I turned to my side, just to see what was wrong with him.

Beads of perspiration formed on his forehead as he broke into cold sweat. He had his hands on his stomach and he groaned. He seemed like he was in deep pain.

“Junhyung-sshi,” I tried calling out to him softly.

No response.

“Junhyung-sshi!” I called once again.

He turned his head slowly to my side and looked at me.

“Gwenchana?” I lip-synched.

He was able to lip-read my words, which therefore caused me to feel relieved after that. He nodded his head slowly in discomfort and suddenly, his face was really pale.

“Junhyung-”

*PAM*

Junhyung collapsed on the desk. I gasped in horror.

“Junhyung-sshi!!!!” I quickly got up and shook him by the side. “Junhyung-sshi, wake up!!” I said.

“Ms Han, Junhyung-sshi fainted!” I shouted.

A few boys from our class were appointed by Ms Han to bring him to the sickbay as soon as possible. I accompanied them. Two of the boys were carrying Junhyung and I was extremely anxious. “God, please don’t let anything happen to him….” I prayed as I clasped my hands.

It was only my first day in school and something bad that happened on someone whom I interacted with had happened. Is this bad omen or what….?!

After about 20 minutes, Junhyung sat up slowly and strained his eyes. “Why am I here…” He thought.

“Oh Junhyung-sshi, you’re awake!!!” _ slowly helped Junhyung up.

“Why am I here?” He asked her.

“You fainted in class.” _ replied.

‘Oh, right. My gastric acted up.’ Junhyung recalled.

“Junhyung-sshi, what happened?” _ asked, full of curiosity.

“I have gastric when I don’t eat, and yeah. It just acted up.” Junhyung said.

_ nodded in silence.

“Let’s go get you something to eat at the cafeteria…” _ said, holding onto Junhyung’s arm so as to secure him.

Junhyung gobbled up the bowl of noodles while _ sat in front of him, watching him eat. She smiled sweetly as she watched him eat.


“Ya…you’re not eating anything?” Junhyung asked, raising his head up.

_ shook her head.

“Won’t you starve afterwards?”

“I’m used to skipping recess.” _ replied.

Junhyung’s POV

The way she smiles, it’s so angelic.
Wait. What the hell am I saying?! Yong Junhyung, what’s wrong with you?! I shook my head and frowned. “Wake up, Yong Junhyung!!!!” I told myself.

“What’s wrong?” _ tilted her head and asked me.

“N…n..nothing.” I stammered.

Getting up from my seat, we walked back to class together.
