A single piece of pink chalk glides across the chalk board held between Ren's tiny fingers in a X formation. Baekho snatches it playfully from his hands, he slams down the yellow stick of chalk and proceeds to draw a circle directly beneath the X. He smiles merrily while throwing his hands up in the air in victory. Ren shakes his head while reaching over and grabbing the chalkboard. He draws another X and then a large diagonal line through all three on the board before handing the chalkboard over to Baekho.   Ren: "that's ten to zero."              Dumbstruck, Baekho's hands slam down and reach for the board. He raises it up with one hand while the other scratches at the side of his head. Ren laughs at the look of confusion on his face before patting his leg gently in a consoling manner.    Ren: "it's okay, you Almost had me that time."            The hinges of the door squeak as the nurse carefully makes her way into the room holding a tray of food in her hands. Baekho quickly flings the board to the side and begins to rub his stomach. The nurse laughs softly at his very animated behavior, then places the tray on the stand and rolls it closer to the bed.   Nurse: "I swear, in all my years as a nurse I have never seen anyone more excited than you to eat hospital food."   Ren: "Our Baekho just loves to eat!"             They all share in a laugh as Baekho begins to unwrap his utensils. His eyes scanning all the food displayed before him before they look to Ren. His eye smile more pronounced than ever he winks then turns his attention back to the food.   Nurse: "now, now, don't get too excited. There are two breakfast platters there on that tray. One for you and one for your little friend here."   Ren: "oh, thank you. But-"   Nurse: "you've been here everyday for the past week, day and night. I don't know when you find the time to eat or sleep honey. Please enjoy the breakfast."   Ren: "thank you very much."             Baekho rubs his shoulder against Ren's before handing him his own pack of utensils. He scoots closer on the bed before accepting them in his own hand then proceeds to unwrap them. He watches as Baekho scarfs down the food seemingly in a single breath before turning his attention to Ren who is only poking at his food. The two sets of eyes meet and Baekho begins to pout playfully.          Ren smiles while shaking his head. His hand reaches for his tray and he slides it over to Baekho. He shuffles from side to side in a celebratory manner then digs into the food. Ren yawns and leans his head back, the sound of Baekho eating had somehow become soothing all of a sudden. He smiles softly before allowing the lids of his eyes to slowly close.           The faint sound of Ren's ringtone ringing from within his bag which rest on the chair bedside seems to get louder and louder until it wakes him up completely. One eye opens as he realizes that he is now laid out on his side. Baekho's arm wraps even tighter around his waist and he smiles. His arm extends and he digs into the bag to retrieve his phone.          The heat radiating from Baekho's breath on the back of his neck causes him to snuggle up even closer to him. He begins to look through all his missed calls and text messages from all the other members before sighing. He taps on Baekho's arm in an attempt to wake him up but fails miserably.    Ren: "Baekho... Baekho... Baekho..."            Ren begins to wiggle about trying to loosen Baekho's vice like grip around his body, but it only seems to cause him to pull him in even tighter. He whines under his breath before placing his hands around Baekho's forearms. With all his strength he pulls up, down, and away from his body but he just doesn't budge. He then places his thumb and index finger together and proceeds to pinch him, the black nail polish on his nails dig in to his pale skin but he doesn't even flinch.    Nurse: "okay boys, it's lunch time."         The smell of the food alone causes  Baekho to instantly loosens his grip and sit up in the bed. The nurse makes her way into the room, tray in hand. Ren sits up angrily and flips his hair. He looks to Baekho and swats him on the shoulder before making his way off the bed. The sound of the chalk scraping against the board grabs a hold of Ren's attention. Baekho turns it to him and it reads "are you leaving me already? =( "   Nurse: "I'm surprised to see you here for lunch, do you want me to go get another tray? You're usually gone by now."   Ren: "no, no, it's fine, thank you. I'm running late for practice, I need to get going."           Baekho pouts as he watches Ren reach for his bag. The nurse places the tray on its stand and slides it back over toward him. Ren puts the shoulder bag over his head and let's it hang across his body. He turns back to face Baekho and smiles sympathetically looking at the sadness in his face.   Ren: "I'll be back after practice as usual. I promise."           Ren steps forth and hugs Baekho tightly. He begins to whimper playfully causing Ren to laugh before reaching for his utensils. He starts to unwrap them as he watches Ren step out of the room behind the nurse. He sighs and pokes at his food then just lays it back down ontop of the tray.          The instrumental to 'Afterschool's' 'Because of you' being played on piano can be heard from just outside the practice room door. Ren rushes into the room and silently stops in his tracks upon realizing that only JR is in the room. He closes the door gently behind him and just continues to listen as he continues to play the song.           Ren raises his hand and brushes the hair out of his eyes, letting only his smile sine through. His eyes close as he allows himself to be taken away by the melody. JR's head sways about as he just continues to play.
