CHAPTER 2 DELIGHTED

"I might be far from you but I know what you're doing."

“Even though we don’t know each other, can you allow me to take care of your heart and your feelings? It’s dangerous around here.” He stated cooly.

What was that?

Out of the blue, she snapped back to reality and fixed her glasses. She bowed her head, trying to hide the embarrassment on her face, and pressed the books closely to herself. “A-ah. Prank.” She answered before leaving. “Excuse me.” Their shoulders slightly brushed which made the guy knit his brows.

His gaze followed the retreating body of Soojung. He then scratched his nape with a confused look. “What? I’m not pranking her or something. Can’t she see I’m serious?”

The vibrating phone removed him from his train of thoughts. He lazily started to walk and fished the phone out of his pocket. “An unknown number is calling me. Seriously, class hours?”

“Answer. Decline?” He decided to answer the call, not bothering what any consequence. “Hel-”

The call ended before he even finished his statement. He ruffled his hair annoyingly. I just got prank, he thought. “Aish. Who’s the caller? Such a fool, Minhyuk.”

“What are you trying to say?” A feminine voice asked. He looked at the origin of the voice and noticed it was Choi Jinri or Sulli to be exact. This again.

He rolled his eyes, not trying to respond on what inclined. “Hey! Wait for me, you !”

Choi Jinri is one of his bestfriend. He seldom hangs out with her these days. He’s the drummer of Silent Free which is a well known band inside and outside the school. Kang Minhyuk’s popularity is quite big and here at Vaniel High, there’s a popularity ranking. He’s in the fifth place, next to Jung Yonghwa.

“What do you want, Sulli?” He asks, fidgeting something on his phone. Sulli dragged herself beside him and tried to peek on his phone. Minhyuk noticed it fast and decided to drag it away from her. “I know what you’re doing, Choi Jinri. What do you want this time?”

Sulli pouted and said, “I need someone to accompany me this day. Naeun, Seulgi, and Jiyeon aren’t around. I know you won’t mind spending the day with me.”

He stopped his tracks. “Why’d you stopped?” Jinri asked innocently. Minhyuk rolled his eyes and continued walking. “Just… just don’t bother me that much.”

Silently walking towards the cafeteria, Sulli immediately suggested a plan. “Hey, I want to hang out with the three boys.” She announced, out of the blue.
