Tok! Tok!

“Pie, dear it’s already 12 noon. Are you still sleeping?”

No response

Pie’s mother sigh as she went downstairs where Fern is waiting.

“Sorry Fern I think Pie is still sleeping”, she apologetically smile at Fern

“Is she okay auntie?”, Fern worriedly ask

“I don’t know. If she’s sick she probably already called me. Why don’t you just climb to her room and go check on her?”, Mrs. Mindara which made Fern excited

“That sounds great Mrs. Mindara”, Fern agreed.

Mrs. Mindara guided Fern  to Pie’s Room.

Fern knock to Pie’s door.

But after 5 minutes, there is still no response from Pie.

“Tsk. It’s impossible that she is still sleeping.”, Fern mumbled to herself

She might be freeze already inside. Wait.. I remembered she told me that she hate the movie frozen.. I got an Idea!

Tok tok tok!

“Pie?!?

“Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on let’s go and play! I haven’t see you anymore, COME OUT THE DOOR OR I’LL TELL KIM THAT YOU LIKE HEEEEEERR!!”

Fern sang so loud that It can be heard in the whole house. The door suddenly opened with Pie’s grumpy face.

“What the hell Fern?”, Pie snorted

“I knew you’re awake! Gosh why aren’t you answering when we knocked”, Fern said as she entered Pie’s room

Before Pie could react, Fern is already inside her room.

Pie just stood still in her spot, as Fern sat down in her bed.

“Hey Pie, why are there so many papers scattered here in your room?”, Fern was about to pick one paper

Damn, those have letters for Kim

Pie immediately snatch the paper right before fern pick it. She collected all the papers on the floor.

“Uhh, I just , uhh,, write my uhh.. My autobiography. Right right  my autobiography.”, Pie stuttering while holding the papers tight

“Autobiography? What for?”, Fern ask unconvinced

“For, uhh, for the school so that I don’t need to write one when they ask us. Hehe”, Pie tried to laugh

“For school? We still got 1 and a half month before school starts”, Fern said while looking at Pie with suspiciously

“I just want to lessen my tasks, okay?”, Pie defensively said

“Fine, if that’s what you say”, fern said

She seems to be unconscious with what happened last night. Thank God for that

“Hey Pie, I came here to ask you something about last night”

! I am so screwed!

“You look hot Kim”

“What the? Kim you’re so cute”

“Is it sunny here?”

“Why is she wearing sunglasses?”

“Can my day get any better?” Kim mumble to herself as she enters the campus and here ty comments from the people surrounding here.

As she walks to the cafeteria, she saw her good for nothing friend Golf

“Dude, where’s the sun?”, Golf acted like his trying to find something from the ceiling which made him receive a smack in the head

“Not funny Golf”, Kim sat down .

“HAHAHA. It’s is indeed funny. Why are you wearing sunglasses huh? Inside the campus. Will you please take that off?”, golf sat infront of Kim

“Dare to laugh, and I’ll make sure you’ll be wearing sunglasses too”, Kim said as she removes her sunglasses

“Wh..what do you mean last night?”, Pie tries remain her composure

“You see I heard some noise from Kim’s room last night but I decided not to to check on it because Kim doesn’t like a surprise visitors on her room. And then this morning she went down with sunglasses, and when I ask her why she just snort. Seems like she had a bad morning”, Fern tell the story with a wondering face while Pie feels like she’s going to explode any second now.

“S.s..so wh..what does that have to do with me?”, Pie acted casual

“Your rooms are facing each other right? Did you see anything strange that happened last night or heard anything? Fern ask while coming nearer and nearer to Pie.

Pie was about to answer when her mom suddenly came

“Hey ladies sorry to interrupt your conversation but the food is ready, come join us for lunch Fern”, Pie’s mom smiled and went downstairs again

“Let’s continue our conservation later Pie, I’m hungry”, Fern cling to Pie’s arm and drag her down stairs

Damn, that was close. She must not know or I’ll die from embarrassment

“WHAT THE HECK! Who did that to you man?”, Golf shouted as Kim covered his mouth

“Keep quite Golf, you are attracting attention”, Kim said as she sat again. Golf notice that the people inside the cafeteria are staring at them so he bowed apologetically and sit again.

“What happened Kim? Who did that? You know mixed martial arts why didn’t you defend yourself?”, Golf started bombarding her questions which made her head ache worse.

“Shut up dude. I’ll answer your questions one at a time”, Kim said as she massages her temple.

“Okay I am all ears”. Golf said and look at Kim with anticipation

“You see Van and I drank last night. And then when I reached home I made my coffee which I decided to be drank in my room but as I enter my room a magnet landed on my face”, Kim said and then sip at her newly bought coffee.

“Magnet? Where did that came from”, Golf tries not to be overreactive since he doesn’t want to gain attention again

“Well, from my neighbor. She threw a magnet covered by a congratulation letter for me."

“Well, that’s a strange way to congratulate someone”, Golf sip in his coffee.

“Yeah, and guess what, she threw another magnet again to say sorry because she unintentionally hit me”, Kim scoffed

“HAHAHAHA. So that explains why you had a bruise in both of your eyes”, Golf is trying hard not to laugh now

“Tsk. And my head is still aching”, Kim lean on the table

“Then why did you come here? You should rest first dude.”, Golf suggested

“Can you guys manage?”, Kim is still hesitating

“Ofcourse, we’ll call you if we need anything from you okay? I’ll tell them you’re sick”, Golf tap Kim’s shoulder

“Thanks Golf, can’t really bare it too. I think I need to sleep”, Kim stood up and wear her bag again

“These are very delicious Auntie”, Fern complimented as she munch happly

“Good to know that you’re enjoying my cooking Fern”, Mrs. Mindara smiled

“So Fern, where are your parents? Won’t they feel bad that you didn’t join them to lunch?”, Mr. Mindara ask worriedly

“It’s okay uncle. We don’t actually eat lunch together. My mom is at our supermarket at this time while my dad is at his office”, Fern continued eating

“what about Kim?”, this time Mrs, Mindara was the one who ask

Pie felt conscious when she heard the name if Kim.

“She’s at the university at this time. Preparing for their defense”, Fern said and then look at Pie and eat again

“Don’t you feel bored or sad? You’re alone at your house at this time”, Mrs. Mindara look pitiful to Fern

“It’s okay auntie. We have a maid in the house so I am not alone and by the way, I would like to ask if Pie can join me to do a movie marathon at our house after lunch”, Mr. Midara and Mrs. Mindara look at each other and then smile to Fern.

“That's fine, just make sure that you girls are not going outside the village okay?”, Fern clap her hands while Pie’s knee started to shake

What if Kim see me at their house? That would be very awkward and embarrassing

“But I still have some errands to do”, Pie suddenly talk which made everyone look at her

“It’s okay Pie. You can just clean your room tonight”, Mrs. Mindara said.

Great mom. Just great

Kim just got inside her car

Trrrt.. trrrtt

Kim pick her phone and set her headset.

“Hello?”, Kim answered as she start her engine

“Oppa, what are you doing?”

“I am going home Fern, I don’t feel well”, she said casually as she start driving out from the campus

“Oh, oppa can I ask something”, Fern sounds reluctant

“What is it fern?”, Kim said concentrating her eyes on the road

“Can you buy some donuts and popcorns? Pie and me are having a movie marathon right now”, Kim suddenly remember the bruises in both of her eyes

“Pie?”

“Yup”

“Okay, I’ll be there in 15 minutes. Tell her we need to talk”
