Chapter 3

 

TaeNy’s POV

 

‘ Fany, can you stop moving around ’

 

Tae is cleaning the house

 

‘ I’m bored ’

 

Tae sighs and turn on the TV

 

‘ Now, please sit down ’ Tae orders

 

Fany nods. Tae continues her cleaning but Fany’s attention is not on the TV but Tae.

 

‘ Tae, will you continue to take care of me after the baby come to this world ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

Fany smiles hearing Tae’s words

 

‘ You are my bestfriend of course I will take care of you and your baby until you find someone who can replace me ’

 

Fany feels her heart clenching hearing Tae said bestfriend.

 

Yuri’s POV

 

Is been more than a year since Yoong went to the States. She just called the day she arrived and after this I didn’t heard from her. I ask the girls and they don’t know neither.

 

Yoong, why you didn’t call? I miss you so much..........

 

I look at her picture on my phone

 

‘ What are you looking? ’ Jiyeon snaps me out

 

‘ Nothing, just some pictures of Yoong ’

 

‘ She didn’t call? ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ Yul, let’s take a picture together ’ Jiyeon said

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ Since we date, we never take a picture together. I saw the wallpaper on your phone of you and Yoona ’

 

‘ You want our picture for wallpaper? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

Jiyeon takes Yul’s phone away. She leans close to me then takes the picture. Jiyeon set this picture as my wallpaper. After she left my place, I change back the wallpaper of me and Yoong.

 

This picture looks better.............

 

I smile

 

A few months later

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Soo is holding the two months old Sarang  in her arms.

 

‘ You are so cute, just like you umma ’ Soo kisses Sarang little cheek

 

‘ Soo, I need to feed Sarang now ’

 

Sica comes out with a bottle of milk

 

‘ Let me ’

 

Soo takes the bottle from Sica’s hand. She slowly sits down with Sarang lying comfortably on her laps.

 

Soo smiles while looking at Sarang. Sica smiles seeing how Soo is caring about Sarang.

 

Later in the night, they heard Sarang crying. Sica picks Sarang up but the baby still crying

 

‘ Darling, are you hungry? ’ Sica asks

 

Soo comes in the room

 

‘ What happen? ’ She asks

‘ I don’t know, Sarang don’t stop crying ’ Sica said

 

‘ Let me ’ Soo takes Sarang from Sica

 

The moment Sarang is in Soo’s arms she stops crying.

 

‘ Somethime I really wonder if she is my daughter or yours. Look everytime you hold her she stops crying ’

 

Soo chuckles ‘ That’s mean she loves me more ’

 

Slowly, Sarang falls asleep

 

‘ Sarang is sleeping now. Let me ’

 

‘ I’ll sleep with her tonight in my room. You can go back to sleep ’

 

Soo takes Sarang in her room. A few hours later, Sica slowly went into Soo’s room to check on Sarang. A smile appear on her face when she saw Soo hugging Sarang protectively in her arms.

 

Sica slowly bend down to kiss Sarang and Soo’s forehead before walking out of the room.

 

TaeNy’s POV

 

‘ Tae, can you hold Sulli for me ’

 

Tae hold Sulli in her arms. She plays with Sulli’s hand

 

‘ Hold my finger ’ Tae talks to the little Sulli

 

Fany comes back with a diaper. Tae slowly lays Sulli on the carpet. While Fany is changing Sulli’s diaper Tae’s phone rang.

 

‘ Is Sunny ’

 

Tae said happily. Tae walks toward the window while Fany is looking at the happy Tae on the phone like a teenage girl in love. After the hang up Tae comes back

 

‘ Fany, I need to go out later. Do you need to buy anything? ’

 

‘ No. Where are you going? ’

 

‘ Sunny will prepare dinner for me at her place. I won’t be home tonight, so lock the door ’

 

Little Sulli starts crying, Fany picks her up.

 

‘ Sulli don’t want you to leave us alone tonight ’ Fany said hoping that Tae will stay home

 

Tae leaves the living room after a while she comes back with a bottle of water. She takes Sulli from Fany’s arms and feeds her. After Sulli finished her milk she stops crying. Tae slowly gives Sulli back to Fany

 

‘ Sulli is just hungry. Now she is fine ’ Tae smiles and walks into her bedroom.

 

15 minutes later, Tae comes out, ready to go out. Tae kisses Sulli’s forehead and when Tae is about to walk out

 

‘ Where’s my kiss? ’ Fany asks

 

Tae shakes her head

 

‘ You are not a baby. I’ll see you tomorrow ’

 

Then the door closes.

 

Two years later

 

SooSica’s POV

 

SooSica are in the living room playing with Sarang.

 

‘ Soo, do you wanna have a bet ’

 

‘ What kind of bet? ’

 

‘ We both choose one objet and ask Sarang to choose ’

 

‘ What will the loser need to do? ’

 

‘ Wash the dishes for a week ’ Sica said

 

‘ Deal ’

 

5 minutes later, SooSica comes back with an object in their hand.

 

Sica comes back with a pillow and Soo with a lollipop

 

‘ Sarang ’ they both call

 

Sarang looks at them. SooSica waves the object in front of Sarang

 

‘ Darling, what do you want? ’ Sica asks

 

Sarang looks left and right a few times. She smiles and crawls in front of Soo. She takes the lollipop in Soo’s hand

 

Soo picks Sarang up happily

 

‘ You lose ’

 

‘ I know ’

 

Soo is about to take Sarang’s lollipop away and the baby girl starts crying.

 

‘ Omo, Sarang please don’t cry. You can’t eat candy now ’

 

Sica smirks and went away

 

‘ Yah.....you are not going to help me ’ Soo said while hugging the crying Sarang

 

‘ You made my daughter cry, so you are responsible to stop her. Is none of my business. Serve you right ’ Sica stucks her tongue out

 

After Sica left, Sarang still crying.

 

‘ Sarang, please don’t cry. You know my heart hurt every time I see you cry ’

 

Sarang still crying and whining in Soo’s arms. Soo looks around

 

‘ Shh.......I let you it once but is a secret between us ’

 

Soo starts to take the paper from the lollipop and Sarang stop crying.

 

‘ One ’ Soo whispers then puts the lollipop in front of Sarang’s mouth.

 

Sarang sticks her tongue out and the lollipop. After one , Soo is about to take the lollipop away and Sarang starts whining. Soo quickly puts the lollipop back into Sarang’s mouth and chuckle.

 

‘ YAH.....WHAT ARE YOU DOING CHOI SOOYOUNG????????????? ’

 

Soo jumps up from Sica dolphin scream and Sarang starts crying.

 

‘ Shh.........don’t cry I’m here ’ Soo quickly calm the scared Sarang

 

Then looks at Sica ‘ Sica, low your voice please. You scared Sarang ’

 

The poor Sarang cries on Soo’s shoulder

 

‘ I’m sorry darling. Umma didn’t mean to scare you ’ Sica pats her girl back then give a deadly glare to Soo

 

Soo gulps. After a while, Sarang stops crying and falls asleep into Soo’s embrance. Soo slowly put Sarang into the crib.

 

Sica drags Soo out of the baby room by the collar

 

‘ S-s-sica, let me go ’

 

‘ Soo, what are you doing? ’

 

‘ Nothing ’ Soo said innocently

 

‘ Sarang is still a baby, she can’t eat candy ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, but she was crying and....... ’

 

‘ I know you love Sarang but candy is not good for her health. You don’t want her to get sick right ’

 

‘ Of course not ’ Soo said

 

‘ Next time don’t give her candy ok. You can give her when she is older but not now ’

 

‘ Ok ’

 

‘ Tomorrow, I’m busy so I’ll call Sarang’s nanny to come over ’ Sica said

 

‘ I can take care of Sarang tomorrow ’

 

‘ No ’ Sica said

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ You know the reason very well Soo ’

 

‘ I promise I won’t give her candy again ’

 

‘ And? ’

 

‘ I won’t let her eat more than she needs ’

 

‘ And? ’

 

‘ Huh? ’

 

‘ Don’t buy her everything she points at. She is a baby, she don’t know what she is doing. Last time, when you go out with her you almost buy the whole store by telling me that Sarang is pointing at them ’ Sica shakes her head

 

‘ Ok I promise you everything ’

 

Sica looks at Soo for a few second then sighs

 

‘ Fine. But if I’ll see a single new toy tomorrow I won’t let you go out with her. Do you understand? ’

 

Soo nods like a obedient kid. After Sica left into her room, Soo receives a call and went out.

 

SooRi’s POV

 

Soo is in the restaurant with Sarang on her laps. Sarang wanna grabs the milks in front of her, Soo quickly takes it

 

‘ Say appa first ’

 

Sarang starts whining because she can’t get the bottle

 

‘ Soo, just give the milk to Sarang ’ Yul shakes her head

 

‘ Say a-a-a-ppa ’

 

‘ pppppa ’

 

‘ Appa ’

 

‘ A-a-a-appa ’

 

Soo kisses Sarang chubby kisses. Sarang grabs the bottle of milk and put in . Soo chuckles at Sarang cute action

 

‘ Where’s Sica? ’

 

‘ Sica is busy today, that’s why I’m taking care of Sarang today ’ Soo said while looking at Sarang

 

‘ Even if Sica is not busy, you always have Sarang with you ’ Yul shakes her head

 

‘ I love having Sarang with me. Look she is so cute ’ Soo said

 

‘ I wonder if Sarang is really Sica’s daughter ’

 

‘ What make you said that? ’ Soo looks at Yuri

 

‘ Look ’ Yul said

 

Soo looks at Sarang who is drinking her milk

 

‘ She is a little shikshin. All she do is eating like you. I wonder if she is your daughter. Sarang always clings on you ’

 

‘ I hope she is my daughter’ Soo said while looking at Sarang

 

‘ Soo, after all these years maybe Sica develop feeling for you too. Why don’t you...... ’

 

‘ Yul, stop. I don’t wanna ruine what we have right now. I will keep my promise so don’t say nonsense ok ’

 

‘ Your bonding with Sarang is so strong, I just don’t want you to get hurt. It will be very difficult for you to leave her. ’

 

‘ Even if it hurt I will do it for them. I promised Sica that I won’t bother them after Sarang get 3. I just want to have more time as possible with them. ’

 

‘ You know I will be there for you right ’

 

‘ I know Yul ’ Soo smiles

 

‘ Soo..... ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Do you have any news of Yoong? ’

 

‘ ......................no ’ Soo said

 

Sarang starts whining.

 

‘ I’ll go the washroom with Sarang ’ Soo then left the table

 

Yuri’s POV

 

While waiting for Soo, I heard a phone ringing. I look on the table and saw Soo forget her phone. I take the phone and then I saw the ID

 

Yoong...........

 

When I was about to answer, the phone stops ringing. A few seconds later I saw a message from Yoong.

 

< Soo, when are you coming? >

 

I reply on Soo’s phone

 

< Where? >

 

< Pabo, Emperial hotel room 1902. You came last night >

 

< I’ll be there soon. See you later >

 

< See you >

 

I quickly delete the message and put the phone back on the table. Soo comes back after a few minutes

 

‘ Soo, I need to go. I forget that I have a meeting ’

 

‘ Ok. Bye ’

 

‘ Bye ’ I walk out the restaurant and drive to the hotel

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

* Knock Knock *

 

Yoong went to open the door and saw Yul standing in front of her

 

‘ Y-Y-Yul.......... ’

 

Yul hugs Yoong tightly ‘ Why you didn’t tell me that you are back? ’

 

‘ I.......... ’

 

‘ Ouiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ’

 

Yoong pulls off the hugs and runs into the room. Yul follows, inside the room she saw Yoong holding a baby boy about the same age of Sarang.

 

‘ Baby......don’t cry ’ Yoong kisses the boy’s head

 

After a while the baby stops crying.

 

‘ Who is it? ’

 

‘ He’s my son Mason ’

 

They both sit on the couch silently with Mason in Yoong’s arms.

 

‘ Can I hold him? ’

 

‘ Mason always cried when a stranger hold him ’

 

‘ Let me try ’

 

Yoong nods and slowly hand Mason to Yul. At Yoong surprise, Mason didn’t cry into Yul’s arms. Yul smiles at Mason who is his finger.

 

‘ He have your eyes ’ Yul said while observing Mason

 

‘ Of course, he is my son ’ Yoong smiles while looking at Mason

 

‘ Where’s his father? ’

 

‘ In the States. I came back alone with Mason ’

 

 ‘ Why? ’

 

‘ He is engaged and his parents don’t know about us ’ Yoong said without looking at Yul

 

‘ You have a baby with a engaged man ’ Yul tried to control her anger

 

‘ ..................... ’

 

‘ What are you going to do now? ’

 

‘ I decide to stay in Seoul with Mason. I’ll stay at the hotel while looking for a place ’

 

‘ Move in with me ’ Yul said

 

‘ No, I don’t wanna bother you. And Jiyeon...... ’

 

‘ I won’t let you here alone with Mason. Let me take care of you two ’

 

‘ Yul........... ’

 

Yul stands up with Mason in her arms

 

‘ I’m taking Mason with you, if you wanna stay here then stay alone ’ Yul said then walks toward the door

 

‘ Yul, wait.... ’

 

Yul smiles then turns to face Yoong

 

‘ Let me at least pack our stuff ’

 

Yul nods. While Yoong packs the stuff Yul plays with Mason. Mason crawls happily toward Yul and Yul picks him up. Mason giggles when Yul lift him on the air. Yul kisses Mason sweating forehead and at her surprise Mason kisses her on the cheek

 

‘ Mason seems to love you lot. I only got a kiss from him not long ago and his father never get a kiss from him ’

 

Yul is happy hearing and look at Mason who is crawling happily around

 

From now on, I’ll take care of you and your umma............. – Yul thought
