Chapter 22

 

Jessica’s POV

 

The next morning, I open my eyes but the bed side is empty with only a note. I pick it up

 

Morning Sica, I’m out for jogging. I will be back around 9. I love you

 

I chuckle, I look at the watch is a 8h45.

 

Soo will be home soon….

 

I look around for my clothes then I saw some new clothes on the table.

 

Last night was amazing, Soo is so gentle with me………

 

I get up to change, I just put the loose shirt from last night. Well, is only her and Sarang home. When I finigh putting the shirt

 

* Ding Dong *

 

It must be Soo, pabo she forgot her key….

 

I walk out the bedroom and open the door

 

‘ Oppa, what are you doing here? ’

 

‘ I was right, you were really at Soo’s place ’ Siwon said and look at me heard to toes.

 

I crosse my arm around my chest

 

‘ I’ll go change ’

 

I quickly went back to the bedroom to change into the clothes that Soo prepared for me. I saw Siwon oppa sitting on the couch, I slowly approach him.

 

‘ I have a feeling that I’ll find here ’ He said

 

‘ How do you know? ’

 

‘ The way you react last night. I saw your face the moment Soo gave me the invitation card ’

 

‘ Let’s break up ’ I look at him

 

‘ Why Soo? She is getting married in one month ’

 

‘ Soo broke off her wedding ’

 

‘ How can you two do this to me? How can you betray me like this? ’

 

‘ Come on, you were the one who don’t want me and get married with someone else ’

 

‘ I’m here now. What do you want more? ’

 

‘ Soo was the one who by our side, taking care of us and loving us. You did nothing when I need you the most and one day, out of nowhere you come back in my life. Maybe I should reject you the first time I saw you so now I need to made thing clear between us ’

 

‘ Look I divorced because I want you and Sarang back in my life. I’ll will do anything for you two....... ’

 

‘ You don’t need to do anything for us because Soo is the one we need not you. I don’t even know why I was in love with a person like you. You are so selfish, you never think about me ’

 

‘ Of course I do ’

 

‘ No, if you do then you won’t broke up with me. Look, we happy now we are happy with Soo so please just let me go ’

 

‘ No, you and Sarang are mine. Go home with me ’

 

Siwon stands up and walks into Sarang’s room

 

‘ What are you doing? ’

 

‘ You two are coming home with me ’ he takes my wrist and drags me toward the door

 

‘ No........... ’ I struggle then I heard the door opens

 

I saw Soo comes in while Sarang is crying

 

‘ APPA......... ’

 

‘ Soo......... ’

 

She looks at Siwon

 

SooSica’s POV

 

‘ Oppa, what are you doing? ’

 

‘ Don’t call me oppa. You stole my woman and daughter from me ’ he said angrily

 

‘ Let them go first ’

 

‘ No, they are going home with me ’ he pushes Soo away but Soo grabs Sica’s arm

 

‘ You are not going anywhere with them ’ Soo pushes Sica behind her and takes the crying Sarang in her arms

 

‘ Shh......Sarang, don’t cry. Appa is here ’

 

‘ YOUR ARE NOT HER APPA. I’M HER APPA NOT YOU ’ Siwon yells

 

‘ Stop, you scare Sarang ’ Soo said then gives Sarang to Sica

 

‘ Go inside, I’ll talk to him ’

 

Sica nods

 

‘ You are not going anywhere ’ Siwon stomps toward them but Soo stops him

 

‘ You are not going near them ’

 

‘ YOU ARE MY BESTFRIEND BUT YOU STOLE THEM FROM ME..... ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, I can’t control my feeling ’

 

‘ I’ll take them home ’

 

‘ No, you can’t ’

 

‘ WHO ARE YOU TO STOP ME? ’

‘ AND WHO ARE YOU TO TAKE US AWAY FROM SOO ’

 

They both turn to the owner of the voice

 

‘ You don’t have the right to take us away from Soo. You are just a stranger for Sarang, look she don’t even call you once appa ’

 

‘ THIS IS BECAUSE OF HER ’ Siwon points at Soo

 

‘ NO, THIS IS BECAUSE OF YOU. YOU LEFT ME WHEN I WAS PREGNANT, YOU NEVER CALL OR SHOW UP TO LOOK AT SARANG. NOW YOU CALL YOURSELF HER APPA ’

 

‘ …………… ’

 

‘ Don’t waste your time on us. We are happy without you in our life ’

 

‘ C-Can you just give me another chance? ’

 

Sica shakes her head ‘ Is too late, I only have Soo my heart now ’

 

Siwon chuckles bitterly

 

‘ You are not my friend anymore ’ he looks at Soo

 

‘ I’m sorry ’ Soo said.

 

Siwon just walks out the penthouse without looking back.

 

After he left, Soo looks at Sica

 

‘ Did he hurt you? ’

 

Sica shakes her head and hugs Soo tightly

 

‘ I’m sorry, I should go out ’

 

‘ No, I should let him in. I never thought he will act like this. I was so scared. ’

 

‘ I will protect you and Sarang from now on. No one can hurt you ’

 

‘ I know you will ’

 

A week later

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

Seunggi called Yoong out for dinner. Yul just comes back from the office, when she comes out from her car she saw Seunggi opens the door for Yoong. Yoong smiles at him and he went in the back to take Mason out.  Yul clenches her fist. She saw them smiling at each other then he even kisses Yoong’s cheek. Yoong waves goodbye. After he drives away, Yul went toward them.

 

‘ You seem enjoying your evening ’

 

‘ Yul, when you are here? ’

 

‘ Since you smile at him sweetly ’

 

Yul holds Mason in her arms

 

‘ Did my Mason miss me? ’

 

‘ Yes ’ Mason kisses her cheek

 

‘ At least I have Mason who still remember me ’ with this Yul stomps toward the building

 

Yoong sighs and runs after her

 

‘ Yul, wait…….. ’

 

Inside the elevator, Yoong tries to talk but just get ignored by Yul.

 

Back to the apartment, after Mason is sleeping Yul saw Yoong in the living room, she just walk into the bedroom. She lays on the bed with her eyes closes then she feels Yoong lay beside her. Yoong’s arm is on her waist but Yul didn’t open her eyes

 

‘ Are you going to ignore it the whole night? ’

 

‘ ………….. ’

 

‘ Can you stop being childish, you already know that I’m having dinner with oppa ’

 

‘ Me childish??? How do you want me to react, seeing my fiancée with her ex smiling sweetly at each other ’

 

‘ We are just friend, you know it very well ’

 

‘ You two look more than just friend ’

 

Yoong sits up and look at Yul

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ …………… ’

 

‘ I’m asking you, what do you mean? ’

 

‘ You want to know fine. Is look like you just have a happy date with your boyfriend ’

 

‘ You know very well is not true ’

 

‘ Who knows, he is Mason’s appa. How should I know if you fall for him again since you two have Mason ’ Yul quickly regrets from what she just said

 

Yoong gets off from the bed

 

‘ So this is what you thought huh? That I will cheat on you. If you don’t trust me then why you asked me to marry you Kwon Yuri ’

 

‘ Yoong I didn’t mean what I said I…….. ’

 

‘ A relationship need trust but I can see that you don’t trust me at all. Every time, he called you act like this ’

 

‘ Yoong………. ’ Yul wants to hug Yoong but Yoong stops her.

 

Yul can see that Yoong is crying and she curse herself for making her fiancée cries. Yoong wipes her hears and looks at Yul.

 

‘ Maybe things went to fast for us ’

 

‘ W-What do you mean? ’

 

‘ I think we need a break ’

 

‘ A-Are you breaking up with me? ’

 

‘ …………….Maybe this is the best for us. I don’t want to get a fight with you every time I met oppa ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, I trust you I really do. Please don’t do this ’

 

‘ No you don’t if you do you won’t act like this tonight. I’ll sleep with Mason tonight and tomorrow I’ll move out ’

 

Before Yoong walks away Yul holds her wrist

 

‘ Please don’t leave me, I love you ’

 

‘ I love you more than you think Yul but you don’t trust me. I can’t be with someone who always doubt at me ’

 

Yoong slowly pushes Yul’s hand away and walk out the bedroom leaving the crying Yul.

 

The next morning

 

‘ Umma, where are we going? ’ Mason asks seeing Yoong packing his stuff

 

‘ Mason-ah, we are going to stay at the hotel for a little while ’

 

‘ Will mommy comes with us? ’

 

‘ No, only you and me ’

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ Mason, you are good boy right? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Then don’t ask me why ok ’

 

Mason nods. Yoong hugs him and wipes her tears. After she finished packing Mason’s stuffs she went into the master bedroom to pack hers. The moment she opens her eyes, she saw Yul’s red eyes.

 

‘ Yoong…….. ’

 

‘ I’ll just pack my stuff ’ Yoong said then went toward the closet.

 

Yul stops Yoong

 

‘ I’m sorry. I was just jealous seeing you two together. I trust you Yoong. Please don’t leave me ’ Yul hugs Yoong tightly but Yoong slowly pulls off the hug

 

‘ Yul, I really need some times. Please just give me some space ’

 

‘ How can I give you some space that you are breaking up with me ’

 

Yoong cupped Yul’s face ‘ Please Yul, I really need a break. Just give me some times ’

 

‘ How long? ’

 

‘ …………. ’

 

Yul shakes her head ‘ No, I won’t let you go ’

 

‘ My company asked me to go back to the States temporarily ’

 

‘ You didn’t accept it right? ’

 

‘ I accepted this morning. Maybe this is the best for us. During these time we will have time to think ’

 

‘ I don’t need time to think. I want you ’

 

‘ Yul, I already decide. If you really love me, you will wait for me right? ’

 

‘ I will, I will prove you that I love you ’

 

Yoong nods

 

‘ When are you leaving? ’

 

‘ Next day ’

 

‘ C-Can I send you? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

Yoong wipes Yul’s tears and kisses her lips. They walk out the bedroom and saw Mason sitting on the couch

 

‘ Mommy ’ Mason runs toward Yul

 

Yul quickly hugs him tightly

 

‘ Mommy, umma said we’ll stay at the hotel then we’ll leave for the States. Are you coming with us? ’

 

‘ Mommy have something to do in Seoul I can’t go with you and your umma. But you’ll be home very soon I promise ’ Yul said

 

Yul forces a smile in front of Mason

 

‘ Will you come to the airport? ’

 

‘ Of course I will. Mommy will see you there ’ Yul pats Mason’s head

 

Yul stands up and hugs Yoong ‘ You need to come back to me ’

 

Yoong nods then left with Mason

 

TaeNy’s POV  

 

Tae arrives at Fany’s apartment

 

‘ Hey, is Sulli ready? ’

 

‘ Yes, we are ready ’

 

‘ We??? You are coming with us ’

 

‘ Yes, your girlfriend is not here right? ’

 

Tae shakes her head

 

Fany smiles ‘ Let’s go then. Sulli, your appa is here ’

 

Sulli runs out and hugs Tae

 

‘ Appa, I miss you ’

 

‘ Sulli-ah, don’t call me appa. Just call me auntie ’ Tae kneels down and pats Sulli’s head

 

‘ Your appa is joking with you. You are her daughter ’

 

Tae glances at Fany but Fany just shrugs

 

After Sulli left to take her backpack

 

‘ What are you doing? We are not together anymore, Sulli can’t call me appa ’

 

‘ We’ll be back together in no long ’

 

‘ In your dream ’

 

‘ Come on Tae, just do it for Sulli ’

 

‘ ……….. ’

 

Fany smiles because she knows she wins this time

 

‘ Fine ’

 

Sulli runs toward TaeNy

 

‘ Is Sulli ready? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ Yes ’ she said excitedly

 

‘ Let’s go ’ Tae said

 

TaeNy takes each Sulli’s hand and walk out the apartment. Tae puts Sulli at the back then her phone rang. Fany pecks behind Tae and saw Hyoyeon’s ID.

 

‘ I’ll take this call ’ Tae walks away

 

When Tae turns her back to face Fany, Fany went closer to listen to their conversation. She heard

 

‘ Ok, I’ll see you later ’

 

Fany quickly runs back to the car before getting caught. When Tae climbs on the driver seat

 

‘ Who is it? ’

 

‘ Hyo ’

 

‘ What did she call? ’

 

‘ Fany, we are just friend now. I don’t need to explain everything to you ’

 

‘ I just don’t want that girl to use you ’

 

‘ For my information, you are the one who used me ’

 

‘ ………….. ’

‘ Can we stop talking about this? I don’t want to get into a fight wih you ’ Tae said

 

‘ I’m sorry ’

 

‘ Let’s go eat something first then we’ll go walk around with Sulli ’

 

‘ Ok, after the walk let’s have dinner together ’

 

‘ I can’t. I’ll meet Hyo around 3PM ’

 

‘ But now is already 11AM ’

 

‘ Yes, I still have at least two and half hours with Sulli ’

 

‘ That’s not enough ’

 

‘ What do you mean not enough? Sulli will be tired after two hours of walk ’

 

‘ I want to spend more time with you ’ Fany admits

 

‘ I’m sorry, I want to spend my time with Sulli not you. If you thing is not enough then let’s cancel….. ’

 

‘ I was kidding, is more than enough ’ Fany cuts Tae

 

‘ Let’s go then ’
