Sooyoung’s POV

 

‘ Nicole? ’

 

‘ Sooyoung? ’

 

‘ You still remember my name ’ Nicole smiles

 

‘ Well, you remember my name too. Let me introduce myself properly I’m Choi Sooyoung your blind date ’

 

‘ I’m Nicole Jung, your blind date ’

 

We both chuckle after we introduce ourself. I pull the chair for Nicole

 

‘ Thank you ’ She gives me a smile

 

I smile back and sit in front of her

 

‘ I thought you are married ’

 

‘ What make you think like this? ’

 

‘ Well the day we met at the shop I heard Sarang calls you appa ’

 

‘ Sarang is not my daughter. I’m single. ’

 

‘ Then why she calls you appa ’

 

‘ Sarang is my bestfriend daughter. Something happened in the past, so I took care of them that’s why she calls me appa ’

 

‘ You don’t mind because people will misunderstood that you are married ’

 

‘ I don’t mind because I love Sarang like my own daughter ’

 

‘ Sarang is very cute ’

 

‘ I know. How about you? I heard that you came back from the State a few months ago ’

 

‘ Yes, my appa want me to help him with his business here that’s why I came back ’

 

‘ I’m happy that you came back ’

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ If you didn’t come back then my appa won’t arrange this blind date. If this is the case I will never get to know you ’

 

Nicole face redden ‘ You are such a sweet talker. Are you always like this when you met a girl ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ I don’t believe you ’

‘ I want ’ she quickly then she is blushing

 

I chuckle

The waitress comes in

 

‘ Miss Choi, are you ready to order? ’

 

I look at Nicole ‘ Are you ready to order or you wanna wait? ’

 

‘ Let’s order now I’m hungry ’

 

We made our order, after the waitress left

 

‘ So tell me what you like and do when you are free? ’

 

‘ Promise me that you won’t laugh at me when you hear it ’

 

‘ Ok I won’t laugh ’

 

‘ Eating. I prefer eating than sleeping ’

 

‘ Me too ’

 

‘ I love cooking ’

 

‘ You must be very good ’

 

‘ I can cook for you if you want ’ she blushes again after saying this words

 

Omo…she is cute……

 

‘ I love too. Well I cook too maybe not good as you ’

 

‘ How about you? ’

 

‘ Me what? ’

 

‘ What do you like or do when you are free? I already answered you now is your turn ’

 

‘ Same as you. I love eating, all my friends call me shikshin ’

 

‘ Really? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

We continued to talk during the whole lunch. After we finish, we walk back toward our car

 

‘ Hmm……..Sooyoung ’

 

‘ Just call me Soo ’

 

‘ Soo ’

 

‘ Yes? ’

 

‘ Can we see each other again? ’

 

‘ Sure. Give me your phone ’

 

Nicole gives me her phone and I call on my phone with her phone.

 

‘ Now I have your number ’

 

Nicole’s POV

 

Soo opens the car door for me

 

‘ Drive safely ’ she smiles

 

‘ You too and thank you for the lunch ’

 

‘ No problem. Bye ’

 

I drive away and a two minutes later my phone rang, I look at the ID and I don’t know this number

 

‘ Hello? ’

 

‘ Now you have my number ’

 

I chuckle

 

‘ So miss Jung, are you free tomorrow night? ’

 

‘ Are you asking me out? ’

 

‘ What do you think? ’

 

‘ I don’t know ’

 

‘ I’ll be in your office at 16PM ’

 

‘ I didn’t say that I’m free tomorrow ’

 

‘ Well you didn’t say you aren’t. I’ll see you tomorrow ’

 

‘ See you tomorrow ’

 

I never thought I will meet her again. The day I saw her at the shopping I was attracted by her. I thought she was married but I’m so happy to learn that she is still single.

 

Yoona’s POV

 

I look up at the person I bump at

 

‘ Oppa ’

 

‘ Yoona ’

 

Seunggi oppa hugs me ‘ I’m searching for you and Mason for a long time ’

 

‘ Oppa, what are you doing here? ’

 

‘ I have a project at the Lotte World ’

 

He slowly pulls off the hug ‘ I’m searching for you and Mason for a long time. Can we talk? ’

 

‘ Oppa, Mason is waiting for me ’

 

‘ Mason is here? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Can we have dinner together then we talk later ’

 

I just nod

 

‘ Can I see him? ’

 

‘ Sure. He is at the food court with my friend ’

 

Seunggi oppa walks beside me

 

Yuri’s POV

 

Mason is eating his foods happily. I look up and I see Yoong coming toward us with a guy next to her.

 

The moment the are in front of the table

 

‘ Mason ’ the guy holds Mason in his arms

 

‘ Mommy............. ’ Mason is scared at this man sudden action and start to cry

 

‘ Yah......Who are you? Why you hold someone else son? ’ I take Mason back

 

‘ Yul is ok ’

 

‘ Who is he? ’

 

‘ He is Seunggi oppa, Mason’s father ’

 

Mason’s father................So he is the man that Yoong falls in love with........

 

‘ Mason come to umma ’ Yoong said

 

Mason just clings on me, refusing to go into Yoong’s arm.

 

‘ Yoona, it was my fault. I suddenly hold making him scared. Just let him a little while ’ he said then look at me

 

‘ I’m Lee Seunggi ’

 

‘ I’m Kwon Yuri, Yoong’s close friend ’

 

‘ Thanks for taking care Yoona and Mason all this time ’

 

‘ No need to thanks me. Is my responsibility to take care of them ’

 

‘ Oppa, have you finish your work ’

 

‘ Yes, I was about to leave then I bump into you ’ he smiles

 

Yoong gives him a smile.

 

I hate seeing them together. How dare he suddenly appears in front of Yoong and Mason? They are mine, don’t you even try to take them away from me....

 

‘ Yul, me and Mason will have dinner with oppa. You can go home first ’

 

‘ But Mason is still scare. How about you change the day and go home with me now? ’

 

‘ Don’t worry. Even if Mason is not scared, he will still cling on you ’

 

‘ But...... ’

 

‘ Mason, come to umma. Appa will give you a lot of delicious foods ’

 

Mason  looks at Yoong then Seunggi then me

 

No Mason, say no.......

 

‘ I want to stay with mommy ’

 

‘ Mommy? ’ Seunggi looks at Yoong

 

‘ Mason calls Yul mommy ’

 

Seunggi nods ‘ Mason, come with appa. Appa have a lot of toy for you ’

 

‘ I don’t want. I have a lot of toys at home that mommy bought me ’

 

That’s my Mason.....

 

‘ Mason, you always said that you miss appa. Look appa is here now, if you don’t play with him then he’ll leave ’ Yoong said

 

‘ No ’ Mason clings on me more tightly

 

Yoong sighs then takes Mason from me

 

‘ No, mommy.......... ’ Mason whines

 

‘ Yoong........ ’

 

‘ Yul, is ok ’

 

Seunggi holds the whinning Mason in his arms and pats his back

 

‘ Mason, don’t cry. Look at the plushy toy over there ’ Seunggi points at the big plushy toy at the game center

 

Mason looks at the direction at where Seunggi points and nods

 

Seunggi smiles ‘ Appa will win it for you ok ’

 

Mason nods while sobbing.

 

‘ Yoona, I’ll go over there with Mason ’

 

‘ Ok, I’ll join you two in a little while ’

 

When Seunggi walks away, Mason quickly looks at me

 

‘ Mommy..... ’

 

I force a smile ‘ Is ok Mason. Mommy will see you home later ’

 

After they left,

 

‘ When will you come home? ’

 

‘ I don’t know yet. Don’t wait for us ’

 

I have to tell Yoong that I’m in love with her before is too late......

 

‘ Yoong, I have something to tell you ’

 

‘ Can you tell me later, oppa is waiting for me ’

 

‘ No, Yoong I lov.......... ’

 

‘ Yoona........ ’

 

‘ I’m coming ’ Yoong then turn to me again ‘ I need to go. Drive safely, I’ll see you later ’

Yoong leave me and walk toward Seunggi. They walk away like a happy family

 

No, I won’t let him this chance to take Yoong and Mason away from me...

 

Yoona’s POV

 

‘ Mason, what do you wanna eat? ’oppa asks while holding Mason in his arm

 

Mason is busy playing with the plushy toy that his appa won for him.

 

‘ Pizza ’

 

He chuckles ‘ Our Mason wanna eat pizza ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Do you wanna come to appa’s place? We can eat pizza and you can play. Appa bought you a lot of toy at home ’

 

Mason hesitates then looks at me ‘ Umma, can I take a piece of pizza to mommy after we left appa’s home ’

 

‘ Sure ’ Seunggi said

 

‘ Ok then ’ Mason said then continue playing with his toy

 

Back to oppa’s apartment

 

‘ I bought this place for us. You told me that you love seeing the night view of Seoul ’

 

I walk near the window and from here I can see the whole city

 

‘ Let me show you our Mason’s room ’

 

I follow him. I look inside Mason’s room

 

‘ You did all this? ’

 

‘ Yes ’ He smiles then looks at Mason ‘ Mason, this room is yours and all the toys too ’

 

‘ Can I play with the toys? ’ Mason asks

 

‘ Sure ’ he puts Mason on the floor.

 

The moment, Mason gets down he went toward the big electronic car

 

Oppa takes my hand ‘ Let’s go see our room ’

 

The moment he opens the master bedroom, the room is decorate exactly what I like.

 

‘ You still remember ’

 

‘ I remember everything about what you said ’

 

‘ Is beautiful ’

 

‘ Yoona, come back to me. I love you and I still love you ’

 

‘ Where’s your fiancée? ’

 

‘ I broke off the engagement. I went back to tell you but you already left with Mason. I told my parents that I’m in love with you and we have a son together. My parents want to me you and Mason. I’m searching for you and Mason all those years ’

 

‘ Oppa, I don’t know ’

 

He hugs me ‘ I will make it up to you and Mason for my whole life.  ’

 

‘ Please give me sometime ’

 

He cups my face then kisses me I didn’t push him away

 

This feeling is so different from Yul, I don’t feel anything when oppa kissed me....

 

After he broke the kiss

 

‘ You want Mason to have a family right? You can’t live at your friend’s place, one day she’ll get married and have her own family. I will be a good appa and a good husband, please ’

 

Oppa is right, Yul will get marry one day. She just considers me as her bestfriend, she just have pity of me and Mason that’s why she is caring toward us. Oppa is Mason’s appa and I loved him once. Maybe I don’t feel anything when he kissed me because I didn’t see him for years. I’m sure this feeling will come back.....

 

‘ Ok ’

 

‘ What? ’

 

‘ We’ll move in with you ’

 

 ‘ Really? ’

 

‘ Yes, let me talk ’

 

He smiles and hugs me ‘ I promise that you won’t regret with your decision. I love you Yoona ’

 

I didn’t say I love you back I just hug him.

 

Oppa went to call for delivery, I went to Mason’s room

 

The moment I walk in

 

‘ Umma ’ he runs toward me

 

I smile and sit on the edge of the bed ‘ Is my Mason having fun here? ’

 

‘ Yes, appa bought me a lot of fun toy but I still prefer mommy’s ’ Mason said

 

‘ Mason, do you like living here with appa? ’

 

‘ How about mommy? Will she lives here with us? ’

 

I shake my head ‘ Only Mason, appa and umma ’

 

‘ No, I want Mason, mommy and umma living together ’

 

I caress his head ‘ Mason, do you love mommy? ’

 

‘ Yes, Mason loves mommy a lot ’

 

‘ If you love her then we should live her with appa ’

 

‘ Why? If we move out, mommy will be alone ’

 

‘ Mason, your mommy won’t be alone. She have her girlfriend ’

 

‘ I don’t wanna leave mommy ’

 

‘ Mason, you said that you love mommy. So do you want her to be happy? ’

 

‘ Yes, I want mommy to be happy. She is happy with Mason and umma ’

 

‘ No, Mason. Mommy will be happy with her girlfriend. Your mommy is not happy with us because you always clinged on her and she don’t have time for her girlfriend ’

 

‘ But..... ’

 

‘ Mason, if you really love your mommy and want her to be happy then we should live her with appa. Your appa loves you very much, look at all the toys he bought to you ’

 

‘ Is that mean I can’t see mommy anymore? ’

 

‘ Is better if you don’t see her and I want you to stop calling her mommy. Just call her auntie, just like the other aunties ’

 

‘ She is my mommy ’

 

‘ She is not your mommy, she’ll be someone’s mommy in the future but not yours ’

 

Mason just look on the floor

 

‘ Please Mason, I love your mommy too that’s why I’m asking you to do this. You can do it right? ’

 

Mason just nods and tears fall down. I hug him
