Sophie

All Sophie thought about as they locked eyes was how beautiful his new hair was, and how much she hated hers. They were so straight, like someone glued wooden planks to her scalp and decided that they were done with her.

As she ran away from him, she thought of another thing. He was even more breathtaking than she remembered, and it hurt.

Because he was no longer hers.
