Gosh, I'm so excited for this. Almost more excited than I was for my previous fic. because we get to see what our poor baby jihoonie went through during and out of high school, before he met taeilie. GOD, THIS IS GONNA BE A WILD RIDE. loljk not that wild. more like a kiddie right tbh.There won't be much going on, I can guarantee you that. A lot of these chapters are just gonna be fillers, honestly.

(also, the school is sort of americanized fOR THE SAKE OF MYSELF BECAUSE THATS ALL I KNOW BARE WITH ME PEOPLE)

It was now monday- a few days after the party, and Yukwon sat at the back of his math class waiting for the bell to ring, so he could get the hell out of there and go home. He watched as Kira sat closer to the front, bragging on and on about what she did at the party. He rolled his eyes, knowing for a fact that half of is was a lie. He didn't understand why she wanted to fit in so badly. He was sure everyone around her could careless about her and her stupid stories. Yukwon began to question why the two were even friends. They had nothing in common. When the bell finally rang, Yukwon collected his things and rushed out of the classroom. 

"Hey! Wait for me!" Kira shouted, as she stuffed her books and loose papers into her backpack, and ran after him. "So, did you have fun at that party or what?"

"I had an okay time." Yukwon shrugged as they walked down the crowded hall. "I probably woulda had a better time if you didn't leave me as soon as we stepped foot in the house."

"Oh please! You gotta get out there and get to know people, Kwonnie. You can't cling onto me forever." 

Yukwon rolled his eyes and stopped in front of his locker. "I can't cling onto someone that's never there."

Just as Kira was going to say something, she was cut off by someone shouting at the end of the hall. 

"Hey! I know you!"

Yukwon looked down the hall to see a bright haired fool jogging in his direction. "Oh, hey! You go here?"

"Yeah, man."

"I've literally never seen you around." 

"Duh, I'm skipping most of the time. Remember?" Jihoon laughed, and turned his attention to Kira. "Who's this? Your girlfriend?"

"No, I'm Kira, his best friend." She corrected. "His very single best friend."

Jihoon looked directly at Yukwon, who only rolled his eyes and proceeded to open his locker. "That's her motto." Yukwon nodded.

"Is not!" Kira growled.

"It's okay, I'm gay anyways." Jihoon shrugged. "Maybe next time, pal." He snorted and patted Kira on the shoulder.

Yukwon couldn't help but laugh, which caused Kira to storm off. "She's... something."

"I'll say." Jihoon agreed. "So, that's the one that left you to fend for yourself at the party?"

"Yeah, she could have just went by herself, really. There was no point in me going."

"Yeah, but you woulda never met us! Most importantly, you woulda never met me!" 

"But, we go to the same school."

"Yeah, but we're only just now meeting." Jihoon shrugged. "Anyway, Yukwon.." His voice trailed off for a moment. "I don't wanna call you, Yukwon anymore."

"Then... what else are you gonna call me?"

Jihoon thought for a moment. "Kitty! Hah! It fits perfectly."

"What?! Why kitty?"

"You look like one!" He smiled brightly.

Yukwon sighed, and reluctantly accepted his newfound nickname. "You're weird, you know that?" He said, while pulling his jacket from his locker.

"Yeah, I get that a lot." He said, almost as if he were sad about it.

"But, I like that about you." He closed his locker.

The tall boy couldn't help but blush, receiving a sudden compliment like that. "D-don't say things like that!"

"Why not?" Yukwon asked, but then noticed how hard the idiot was blushing. "Oh! You're blushing! How cute!"

"N-no! It's not cute! Shut up!" The blushing boy whined, which caused Yukwon to even more. "Stop it, Kitty! You're s evil!"

Yukwon continued to laugh until it hurt. "Okay, okay. I quit."

The halls were now empty, and it was just the two of them. Yukwon felt oddly comfortable around this guy. Much more comfortable than he did whenever Kira was around. "So, what are you about to do? You wanna hang out or something?" Jihoon asked.

"I was gonna go how a study for a bit, but I guess I can put that on hold."

"Great! 'Cause me and Minhyuk are meeting at the underpass." He nodded as the two walked down the quiet hall. "He wants to make plans for next year's party."

"Already?"

"Yeah, he likes to start early." Jihoon nodded. "Since he graduated and all, he has a bunch of time on his hands."

"He doesn't have a job, or anything?"

"He's got a part-time one, but he really only works a few days outta the week."

After a while of walking in comfortable silence, the two reached a short tunnel. On one end, the end that the two came from, was a path that led to a grassy abyss, and on the other end was another path that led into the woods. They saw Minhyuk sitting with his back against the bridge as it arched over him, flipping through what looked like a notebook. Yukwon admired how peaceful the area was. He would have expected it be a bit more noisy, but he guessed no one really traveled around there. He noticed how the sky was becoming gray, and he smiled.

"What are you grinning about?" Jihoon asked.

"It looks like it's gonna rain. I like rain." He nodded, and waved when Minhyuk looked up from his notebook.

"About time you got here." He stayed put, as the two approached him. "I see you brought him along."

"I thought he might've wanted to hang out, is that so bad?" 

"Not at all. I kinda wanted to see him again anyway." Minhyuk teased, knowing that his close friend wouldn't like that.

Jihoon glared at him, before joining Minhyuk on the cracked pavement. "Come one, Kitty, sit next to me."

"Kitty?" Minhyuk snorted.

"Yeah, apparently that's my new nickname." Yukwon shrugged.

"Well, it suits you." Minhyuk nodded. "It's cute, just like you."

Jihoon watched as Yukwon began to turn red, and he immediately became jealous. He knew what Minhyuk was trying to do. He knew ever since the party was over, because they talked about it. Both of them were interested in the kitty, but Minhyuk promised to back off. But, this didn't seem at all like he was backing off. Which caused the red-head to get frustrated. He wouldn't show it though. He'd just leave the subject alone until Yukwon wasn't around.

The poor kitty was caught off guard by what Minhyuk said. If he didn't know better, he'd say Minhyuk was flirting, and by the looks of it, Jihoon wasn't too happy with that. Yukwon didn't know why his skin felt so hot all of a sudden, but he didn't mind it as much as he thought he would. He avoided eye contact with Minhyuk, and took a seat next to Jihoon. "S-so... Is the next party gonna be like the one that just passed?"

"Eh, if not, bigger." Minhyuk nodded. "More people, more fun, right?"

"But, wouldn't more people mean more trouble?" Yukwon asked.

"We haven't really had any problems, yet. Honestly, I've been waiting for some drama to break out at these parties, but every just seems so chill." Jihoon spoke. "Which is a good thing too."

"Of course, you have. You love watching the girls get drunk and fight about stupid ." Minhyuk snickered.

"You know it's funny, Minhyuk!"

"Yeah, because they're usually fighting over us." He rolled his eyes.

"Girls really like you guys, huh?" Yukwon asked.

"They mostly lose their when it comes to Minhyuk, honestly. I'm usually just there." Jihoon shrugged.

i'm crying a river because i'm starting to get writer's block. There's nothing super special about this chapter, if you ask me. I just wanted to give you guys something before my writer's block devoured me, AND IT HIT ME RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF TYPING THIS CHAPTER SO I HAD TO CUT IT SHORT. PLEASE, PLEASE FORGIVE ME TT^TT 

I'll have a better chapter ready next time whenever that may be I promise asdfghjkl
