Chapter 4 (finalised)
Tick Tock *discontinued*Hana's POV
Calculus was over before I even knew it. Mark helped me out through the whole lesson. My brain wasn't working today - I couldn't solve a single question. That's really rare because, well I'm not ashamed to say this, I'd consider myself really smart. Back in Canada, I topped my county every year. Hehe. I picked my bag up once again. Now, it was lunch break.
I walked along the long corridor while searching for the canteen. The school was larger than any I've been to before. After collecting my share of food, I took a seat at a table right at the corner of the canteen. A quiet spot that I liked. It was the first time eating a meal alone at school. The feeling of loneliness crept up to me as I took each bite of my lunch. I missed laughing with my friends. I missed talking about everything that happened. Would I ever get used to life here?
"Can I sit here?"
"Yeah, sure."
Natural instincts to reply graciously. I didn't even process who it was of what was said. Looking up, i saw Mark. Now that he sat across me at the lunch table, I realised he had really nice hair. (And face hehe). He had naturally black hair that suit his face well.
"You just transferred here?"
"Yeah... I just got to Korea yesterday."
"Oh? Where were you from?"
"Canada"
"You're joking."
"Why would I?" This guy's funny.
"I'm from Canada too."
"Now it's my turn to tell you 'You're joking'."
