*Busan, 3 days after the death of jonghyun's dad*

 

It was a rainy day... 

 

There stood jonghyun on a green burial field... 

He is wearing a black suit with a black arm ribbon.. He is doing his duty as a sangyu (its sorta like a funeral ceremony leader, normally done by oldest son)

 

Looking down to a casket...

He threw dirt three times onto the casket before whispering...

"Goodbye dad"

 

Afterward, one by one the guests greeted jonghyun before leaving until he was left alone with his mum and uncle.

 

It was well known in busan that his dad took a commoner as a wife... That is jonghyun's mum... And as a result.. Jonghyun's mum has pretty much became an outcast in the family. 

Jonghyun himself isnt so much hated in the beginning but as he grows up, he seen how his mum is treated, he became resentful towards his relative... That and the ruthless nature of chaebol family is more than enough reason for him to detests them.

 

Well... All except for one... Jonghyun's appa's twin brother... Since he was very little jonghyun's uncle has always been helpful and nice to the mother and son...

 

And as a result... Now that jonghyun's dad is gone... jonghyun appointed him as the caretaker of family business.

 

"Jonghyun-ah.. Now that your dad is gone... Will you be taking over the company?" His uncle asks.

"Your dad would hate to see this company goes to ruin" he again said trying to persuade jonghyun

 

"No" suddenly jonghyun's mum said.

"What he would have wanted is for us to be happy" she then continued..

 

"Umma... Uncles is right.... We can not just let this company goes down... This company is the accumulation of all his hardwork... Its his legacy" jonghyun said

 

"Uncle... Can you give me time... I will take over once im ready...do you think you can handle it in the mean time...." Jonghyun said again

 

His uncle nods slowly few times... And then he said "off course.. How long do you think before you'll be ready?"

 

"Im only 23 now... Give me 5 years... And then after i join the army... I will do it..." Jonghyun said.

 

"??? 5 years?? I thought you meant few months??!! With the army service, thats 6??!!" The uncle replied with a shocked face

 

"Yes.... I wanna pursue this dream of mine and leave no regret... " he said firmly

 

"How bout your umma... You just gonna leave her here??!! " jonghyun's uncle argued again

 

"Umma can come to seoul... She can find a place near me... "

"Umma, Is that ok with you?" Jonghyun asked her mum

 

"Off course.... I would love to..." His mum replied, smiling

 

"But... But... This....." His uncle still sounding reluctant

 

"Uncle, I know im asking alot... But I promise you.. Once i joined... I will not look back..." Jonghyun said

 

Jonghyun's uncle thinks for a while before finally nods slowly and said "arasso.... We will do it as you said...." 

Jonghyun and his umma smiles as soon as they heard it

 

And so they return to their house (or more like a mansion)

Jonghyun excused himself upstairs to his room.

 

"What a day...." Jonghyun said as he throws himself to his bed..

He starts to feel sleepy when he heard knocking

 

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

 

"Coming... Coming.... Jezzzz... What the rush...." He groggily said

He opened the door to see the maid

"Young mas.... I mean master, madam told me to tell you to turn the tv on channel 6 immediately" the maid said

"Huh?... The tv?..." Jonghyun replied groggily still

"Yes master... Now!!!" She said in urgency

"Ok... Ok... Whats the rush...." Jonghyun said as he returns to his bed to grab the tv remote 

 

He switched it on to SBS (thats channel 6).

"Isnt this some entertainment show...... "

"!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jonghyun suddenly froze

 

*playing on tv*

 

"......These are a few of the photos  leaked through online resources each are more damning than others"

 

"The photo clearly shown a member of SNSD, Im yoona kissing and hugging an unidentified man...."

 

"There is currently yet no confirmation or denial from SM Ent, we will update you with the latest once it reach our hand...."

Jonghyun stayed frozen for a while.

 

His mind is running wild "that girl in the photo is clearly her.... But the guy... His Face is always facing another way.... The way he kissed her.... The way he hugged her and hold her...."

Jonghyun felt a stab on his chest each time he thinks about it...

 

Then he remembers about yoona... 

Jonghyun quickly snapped back to reality and grabs his phone to call her..

 

"Damn it!!! Its off!!" Jonghyun cursed....

"Think jonghyun... Think!!!! Where are you, yoona-yah...." Jonghyun said 

 

..... Where is yoona.....

 

/flashback/

 

Yoona and the girls has just finished their last concert in china.

They have just arrived back in their hotel...

 

Seohyun and yoona are room mates... They both quickly entered their rooms

 

"Im going to have a shower first" yoona said

"Dae... Unnie" seohyun said..

 

Seohyun went and her laptop... She was just browsing SNSD fan cafe.. When suddenly

 

"!!!!!!! Unnie!!!!!!!!!" She screamed

Yoona came out of the bathroom and said "whats wrong!"

"Look!!!!!!!" She screamed, pointing at her laptop screen

Yoona rushed over and looked

 

She was stunned... She turned completely pale... It was as if her soul has left her body....

 

"How... How..... " she said as tears flow on her cheeks.

Seohyun quickly went and grab the rest of the girls. They all gasped in shock when they sees the pictures

 

"Yoona-yah... Is this... Real..." Taeyeon asks as she taps yoona's shoulder slowly

Yoona just nodded slowly in respond... Al the girls sighed after seeing it...

"Otoke... Unnie..., what am i gonna do....." She said as she cries and hugged taeyeon

 

Taeyeon said "first, we'll return to korea... Luckily we're done with the overseas tours... Yoongie-ah... Do you have somewhere quite to stay for a while til things cools off a bit?" 

 

"Dae... I will return to my aunty's house, just outside seoul" yoona replied

 

"We better go now.. Before things get much worse" taeyeon said

 

And so the girls quickly returned to korea.. One day ahead of schedule to avoid the press.

The girls has just landed in seoul.. they were quickly ushered into the van before the press gets a hold of them... 

On the way back to the dorm yoona is busy in her on thoughts..

"Ottoke..... Its all in ruins now...." Yoona thinks in her mind as she glances at her ipad, showing a pic of her with the mystery man...

She then had a quick look through her fan caffe... And expectedly... It was bad..... 

 

"What a !"

"innocent? Yeah right! Now we see her as she truly are! A cheap !"

"so, if this is the face of snsd then all of them are bunch of easy pick ups??" These are some of the comments she wrote...

 

It hurts her badly when she sees comments about her members... "It was my mistake... ... No one else should copped. The blame..." Yoona thinks with teary eyes

 

Strangely though.... The thing that weight the most in her mind is what would jonghyun would have thought......

Off course she knew jonghyun being the super gentleman that he is wouldnt be jealous and all... "But regardless... I dont have the guts to look at him in the eyes... " yoona thinks

Specially since the bad comments are also spreading into jonghyun... 

Comments like "what a stupid fake husband on a stupid fake show! That just goes to show how stupid he really is!" Really hurts yoona the most...

She is ashamed to face him, ashamed to talk to him.. Which was why she switched off her phone.

 

Yoona looks at those bad comments on jonghyun again for a while.. And in her mind she think... "I've got to do something bout this... Before it gets any worse for him..." She then starts to tear up again...

 

The girls finally arrived in their dor,

Yoona is in her room.... She is packing all her stuff..

"Yoongie-ahh.. You ready?" Yuri asked

"Dae unnie... " She said as she gets out of her room

"Kaja " yuri said.

 

The pair opens the door and was bout to leave when suddenly jonghyun appear

 

Jonghyun looks tired and worn out... He left busan straight after the news... He hadnt slept much since his dad's death..

 He was an distraught after his dad's death and after the news he practially is an emotional wreck...

 

Yoona sees him in this state and its breaking her heart... "Yoona-yah... Be strong... You have to do this...." She thinks to herself

 

"Ohh you're here..." Yoona said coldly while trying her best to put up a straight face

 

"Yoona-yah... Are you ok..." He asked softly as he hugs her

 

Yoona felt so warm... So comforted by his hug and his words... But suddenly she pushes him away and said "jonghyun-shi... Please.... Let go...."

 

Jonghyun is shocked by her cold tone and mannerism

"Yoongie-ahh... Whats wrong?" He asked

 

"Jonghyun-shi... Now that things had turned out like this... I think we should just break up" yoona said.. Her voice was straight... She tried with all her might to keep it that way...

 

"!! Wae?!... Did i do something wrong?!" He asked, anxiously

 

"Its not you... Its me... "

" i have to go...." She said when jonghyun grabs her arm

 

"Yoongie-ahhh we can work through this toge...." Jonghyun tries to explain when yoona cut him and said...

 

"Look! Its over, ok! I cheated on you! I was just playing with you!! Cant you just take it like a man and get over it!!" Yoona said, by now, her voice is starting to tremble....

 

".. I dont believe that......" Jonghyun said as he shakes his head..

 

"Jonghyun-shi, You promised me that one day if i dont want you no more, you will let me go, right??"

 

"Well, here's a hint!"

 

"I DONT WANT YOU ANYMORE!!!!" She screamed as she jerked jonghyun's arm off and ran torwards the hallway...

 

Jonghyun just stood there....
