The whole Daejung’s people were celebrating their King’s arrival, along with their new queen. They held such a great celebration to welcomed their rulers who would come that day

The streets were full of light, various colors of lampions and flowers to celebrate the King’s wedding.

Chaerin looked up through the window of her royal cart. She could see the joy on the people’s faces. Those people.., who are now HER people

“Seems like my people can’t wait to see their Queen” Jiyong spoke up. He was riding his horse, smiling to his people

People were still echoing the King and the queen’s name all the way to the palace

In the palace, the whole ministers were ready to welcome the King too. They were already standing on the palace’s entrance as the King’s parade coming

“I wonder what happened there. Why did the King change his plan all of sudden and marrying the princess instead of taking over the kingdom” one of the ministers whispered to PM Kim

While PM Kim…, he was just staring at the smiling King, then the cart behind him, waiting to see the woman who took his daughter’s place

“We will find out soon” PM Kim whispered back, eyes still on the cart. Finally they reached the palace main entrance. King Jiyong got off from his horse and walked to the cart. The guard opened the cart door, revealed the king’s new wife

King Jiyong smiled, looked into his wife, and extended his hand to her. “Welcome to Daejung, My Queen…” Jiyong smiled mischievously

Chaerin gave him a sharp glare, looked at his extended hand. She didn’t want to reach it for sure. But then she looked at the whole people around. The ministers, guards, and even maids were standing there, smiling to her. She wasn’t allowed for being rude….

With a heavy feeling, she reached the young king’s hand, forced a smile and slowly stepped out from the cart. The king and the queen then walked together into the palace, followed by the guards. Seunghyun and Mino were right behind them

“Welcome back, Your Majesty…” PM Kim Hanseok bowed, followed by the others. Then he looked up and finally saw the young queen

“Thank you, Prime Minister” Jiyong said. “And I believe all of you already heard about her…” Jiyong paused, turned to see his wife. “This is my wife, your queen…, the Queen of Daejung, Queen Chaerin” He stated and all the people there bowed politely to their new queen

Chaerin bowed back a little and smiled. Somehow she was touched inside. Even though that wasn’t her dream marriage, and she didn’t love the king…, but looking into those people just sent warm feeling all over her heart

“Welcome to Daejung, Your Majesty…” PM Hanseok bowed, faked a smile to Chaerin

“Thank you… I wish I will be a good Queen for Daejung” Chaerin smiled sincerely

“Sure, you will, Your majesty” The prime minister replied. He looked into the smiling lady with something wicked in his head

Then, they went to the palace’s main hall where the celebration was already set. The King and his Queen were now talking to the guests. Mostly were the delegations, Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses from Daejung’s allies, conquered kingdoms, or nearby kingdoms.

“Have you met the Queen? She is so gorgeous” a king said

“Yeah, I never knew that King Jaehyun of Bonhwa has such a beautiful daughter. If only I knew it earlier, I think I would propose her first” Another King added

They were talking while watching Daejung’s new queen. Chaerin was now talking with the guest and smiling non-stop, revealed her shining beauty

While the King, seemed like he realized that those kings and Princess were kinda drooling over his wife’s beauty. And the possessiveness inside him started to take over. He excused himself from his guests and walked to Chaerin who was still talking with some guests

“Don’t you feel tired, Jagi?” Jiyong stood beside Chaerin and asked sweetly. The guests bowed and left the newlywed

Chaerin, she was shivering by the way Jiyong addressed her. She looked up and saw her so called husband, smiling, or smirking to be exact

“It’s been a long and tiring day. You’ve better take a rest” Jiyong smirking widely to the icy queen

“It’s fine, Your Majesty…. As your QUEEN, it’s my duty to welcome your guests, right?” Chaerin smirked back, looked straight into Jiyong’s eyes. Truthfully, Chaerin knew exactly what was bothering the king. And she loved to make him feel uneasy and uncomfortable like now

But the King also sensed that his wife did it on purpose. He looked into her dress. She wore a peach colored long dress, like every Queens or princesses normally wore. The difference was on the v neck part which revealed her deadly cleavage. From this position, he even could see the mole on her upper full-

“Damn! She shouldn’t expose those parts to the other men” Jiyong cussed inside his head

Jiyong stared deeply into her eyes, leaned a little bit, closer to her ear. “I think your ‘show’ is enough for today. Now you’d better to take a rest, for I’ll tire you up all the night” He whispered

Chaerin smirked. She pulled out a little and looked at his face, then she tip-toed a little to reach the king’s ear. “Tiring me up all the night? By sparing?”

Jiyong chuckled. He held Chaerin’s curvy waist and pushed her body gently so that he could see her face again

“Yeah…, sparing…., in my bed” Jiyong grinned naughtily

“In your dream…” Chaerin scoffed, but still fake a smile so that people around wouldn’t be suspicious. Then she reached Jiyong’s hands on her waist and pushed it away. And then she bowed and leaved the King who was still smirking

“Let’s see…” Jiyong mumbled

On the other side, people who watched their interaction would think that they were so lovey-dovey as a newlywed. Well, they didn’t know the fireball between them….

“They are perfect couple” Mino commented

“I think so… King Jiyong must be have something in his head when he decided to take Princess Chaerin as his queen” Seunghyun added

“Hmm…, I wonder how the next prince or princess will be like…” Mino said, instantly earned a strange look from the older one

“Seriously?” Seunghyun raised his eyebrow  

“What? They will have prince or princess sooner or later” Mino added. “I just think that their children will be damn great. I mean.., look, King Jiyong is one of the best warrior ever, very smart and good looking too. And Queen Chaerin…, she’s more than just a queen. She is well trained in martial arts beside her excellent brain. She is the perfect combination of beauty and intelligence. Their children will heir outstanding genes!” Mino explained

Seunghyun looked at Mino. He seemed to think for a moment but then smiled. “I think you’re right…” He said. And the two high rank guards smiled like pabo, imahining the same thing
