The whole ministers, commanders and guards in the main hall stood up as the guard announced the King’s arrival. Seconds later, the Great young King walked into the hall, followed by his best commanders and guards

“Welcome back to the palace, your majesty” Kim Hanseok, the prime minister of Daejung Kingdom bowed to the King

“How’s the Kingdom?” The young King asked coldly as he sat down on his throne

“Everything is good, Your Majesty” Prime minister Hanseok informed. “There were some rebellions in Kangnam district, but Commander Han and his soldiers got them down successfully” he continued

“Good. Any others?” King Jiyong asked

“So far.., that was the only important information we have” Hanseok answered

“Ok” The King stood up, followed by the others. “Prime Minister, prepare a great celebration tonight. I want it to be extra ordinary to celebrate our victory today” The King ordered as he left the hall

“Absolutely, Your Majesty” Prime Minister Hanseok bowed and smiled. Then he commanded his people to arrange all the preparation for tonight celebration. He was so happy that one of his plans just came to real again

Meanwhile, King Jiyong walked to his room and started to remove his armor from his body. He wasn’t that happy even though he just conquered one more kingdom to be under his command.

Yeah, he just got back from a big war. Daejung’s troops finally invaded a nearby kingdom named Myungki and won over them. King Jiyong leaded his army by himself, with the assist of his best warriors, Song Mino and Choi Seunghyun

“Mino” The King called Mino. He was one of the youngest yet most trustworthy people Jiyong ever had

“Yes, Your Majesty?” The young warrior came to the King

“How’s the preparation for our next invasion?” King Jiyong asked casually

“Our army is always ready, Your Majesty. But I think we have to make a new plan. I’ve heard Bonhwa’s soldiers are very skilled and strong. They also have best archers and strong bastions” Mino informed every detail he knew.

King Jiyong stood still for a while, thinking about what Mino just said

“We need to re-plan anything if we don’t want to lose too much soldiers” Mino suggested

“Seunghyun, what do you think?” Jiyong turned to Seunghyun

“Mino is right. Bonhwa is not an ordinary kingdom. Their gold mines already draw so many kingdoms to try to conquer them. That’s why they built such a very strong military power to protect their kingdom. Don’t be too rushed, Your Majesty. We need to make a perfect plan” Seunghyun suggested

“Our soldiers…, will they be enough or we need some additions from other district’s soldiers?” the King asked with his eyes narrowed on the Bonhwa Kingdom map

“So far, I think Daejung’s soldiers will be enough if we plan it well. But like we said, Your Majesty…, we need to re-calculate it” Seunghyun answered

King Jiyong turned around and looked at his warriors strongly

“Plan everything perfectly. I don’t want to lose this chance. Bonhwa…, should be under my feet. Soon” The king stated

“Appa... why don’t you tell me His Majesty is already here?” Kim Hyuna, the beautiful daughter of Prime Minister Hanseok rushed to her father who was just came into her room

“Wae? You already knew it even without I informed you” the prime minister teased his pouting daughter. “Seems like you’re ready for the party?” he looked at now fully-dressed Hyuna

“Sure. I need to be the most-shining at the party so the King will never get his eyes off of me” Hyuna said cockily, followed by his father’s big smile

“So, Appa… what do you think? Will king Jiyong really take me as his Queen? I mean.., he hasn’t said anything yet….” Hyuna asked his father seriously

“Don’t worry…. I already plan it since you were born. Jiyong might be a mighty King but still, he’s only a boy. My boy. I raised him since he was 7 and like you already knew, I’m his most trustworthy man. He will never do anything without my permission and always do what I suggest him to do” Hanseok smiled proudly

“I already told him to choose his Queen and you are the only woman around his circle. That night, when i, along with the others ministers suggested him to get married, he asked me about you. And all the ministers also agreed if you he takes you as his queen” The prime minister smirked

“But, Appa… it was two month ago and Jiyong Oppa didn’t say anything up until now…. Last time when we met before his departure to Myungki, he didn’t say anything as well” Hyuna said worriedly

Prime Minister Hanseok laughed and sat down beside his daughter

“Aigoo…, seems like my daughter is really want to get married already…” he smiled teasingly

“Appa…..” Hyuna whined

“It’s ok…. listen to your Appa now. King Jiyong is now focus on the next invasion to Bonhwa” Hanseok informed

“What? Invasion again? And…, Bonhwa? The kingdom of goldmines?” Hyuna asked, a little surprised when her father mentioned Bonhwa, a kingdom which have the largest goldmines in the whole continent

“Yes. He’s so eager to conquer Bonhwa so that we will get the goldmines” Hanseok smiled evilly. He already brainwashed King Jiyong’s mind since the king was a little boy

“That’s why he didn’t say anything about marriage. I’ve heard he talked to Advisor Nam that he would think about marriage after he conquer Bonhwa” Hanseok tapped Hyuna’s nose and the lady smiled widely

“Jinja? So…, that’s mean… after this invasion…, he will marry me?” Hyuna asked happily

“I’m pretty sure he will” Hanseok smiled along, feeling so sure about his prediction

The celebration was awesome. The whole people in the palace were enjoying their victory. Myungki was the 23th kingdom taken over by King Jiyong during his 10 years he ruled Daejung Kingdom.

Jiyong crowned as the King of Daejung when he was 17. His father, the late King Jihoo was murdered by mysterious assassins on his way home from his journey with the queen when Jiyong was 7. As the prime minister, Hanseok ruled the Kingdom, supervised by the other ministers until Jiyong, the only heir reached his age. And on 17, Jiyong took over the responsibility to rule his Kingdom

Prime Minister Hanseok was a greedy person. He brainwashed the young prince, raised Jiyong to be a cold-hearted ruler. Jiyong grew into a great warrior and a heartless King. He was so eager to conquer as many as kingdom and sweep them under his feet

“Welcome back, Your Majesty….” Hyuna bowed to the King who was sitting in his throne, watching the dance performance. He turned his face and saw the woman he knew for so long, Hyuna

“I’m so glad that you’re back.., and bring another victory to your Kingdom…” Hyuna said seductively. Jiyong only gave her a little smile, or smirk to be exact

“I love your dress. Red is suit on you” Jiyong said and took his wine again
