Prologue:
Static flashes in the TV screen a few moments later and I’m just glad the device still works. Stuck in the distracting (Not in a good way) scene however was frustrating! Disturbances such as this always annoy the crap out of me. I mean why couldn’t they edit the damn thing out of a movie anyways? So that it’d start without a hitch! Sheez, I knew that y girl from that weird Video rental place was pretty shady. I mean who gives membership and rents DVDs out for free? Rambling about the video on screen, I didn’t notice the soft melody that was starting to play in the background until an extremely beautiful girl flashes on screen.
“Hi! Thank you.”
Damn. The cover wasn’t kidding. This girl is totally my type.
“Thank you for choosing my video!”
I can’t see her from this angle but the frontal view is spectacular.
“Oops! Byuntae! Stop being a !” I said while hitting my head as if the other girl heard my thoughts.
“My name is Jung Sooyeon, and I’m sixteen.”
Her face is like that of a porcelain doll, a very beautiful life-size Barbie. Damn-it where on earth do they get actresses like this?!! She’d easily blend in with that famous KPOP group “Girls Generation” without even trying!
I mean, she doesn’t have my Fany’s eye smiles, one in a million I tell you!, but her warm brown eyes, just seem draw me inside.
“What’s your name?”
Feeling the compulsion to give attention to my virtual friend Sooyeon, I did play her DVD after all. I stared right back at her on TV whispering through my mind “Taeyeon. Kim Taeyeon.”, as if she could hear every word I said. And to be quite honest, I wished she did. I wish she damn did. I wished someone heard my heart. Heard what it said and what it was willing to give.
“Hey? Why do you look so sad?” Sooyeon said as the smile she sported on her pretty face immediately turned sour.
“I see…
Unrequited love.”
HUH?! How did she? Did she really hear me?!
Oh… Oh Yeah… I guess videos like this are primarily targeted to losers on love. Majority of which never got their feelings returned. Ha. Ha. Ha. Pathetic. God the script writer is good huh? Almost had me with that one.
“Well, don’t let it get to you!”
