Chapter 12

Taeyeon looked at him and was shocked.

“What?” Taeyeon said softly as she couldn’t believe it.

Lucas kept quiet and looked down. 

He then slowly released her hand and looked at her again.

“Nothing.. Let’s go.” Lucas said and opened the car door.

Taeyeon still couldn’t process what had just happened.

She decided to just put it in the back of her mind as there is something much more important that she needs to be worried about.

School ended pretty quickly today as one of her teachers fell ill.

She quickly placed her books in the locker and quickly went to the toilet.

She went into the cubicle and took out her phone to look at the school’s blueprints. 

“Aha! Found it.” Taeyeon thought.

Then, she headed out to the payphone near the school and called her father.

“Dude, are you okay?” Baekhyun asked.

“Yea. Just tired.” Lucas said as he continued to stare at the floor.

“You know that I can tell when people are lying.” Baekhyun said as he sat opposite him.

Lucas just remained silent while Baekhyun just looked at him and thought about what could have possibly happened.

“Let me guess. Does it happen to be related to someone whose name starts with a letter ’T’ ?” Baekhyun said.

He continued to remain silent.

“I’m right. What happened?” Baekhyun asked.

Lucas was about to speak but he got interrupted by a knock on the door.

“Come in.” Baekhyun said.

“Alpha, we caught a trespasser hacking the system. You should see who she is.” The guard said.

“Hello?” Alpha Liam said.

“It’s me.” Taeyeon said.

“Taeyeon? Are you okay? Did anything happen?” He said with concern.

“No…no, I’m alright. How are you? Is everything good?” Taeyeon asked.

“Everything is fine. Why are you asking this? What’s going on?” He said as he senses that something is wrong.

“I found out where they have kept all their important information.” She said.

“They? You mean Nightmoon.” He replied.

“Yeah. They stored them in their school’s network system which I will be able to get in the network room. Honestly, that is quite smart of them cause no one would think that they would keep it in the school.” Taeye
