Chapter 10

"This letter is to strictly warn you to stay away from Baekhyun. You might think that you have totally thrown me under the bus after that "nice talk" we had.

But being the kind-hearted person I am,  I'm giving you a heads up before things get ugly. I am also warning you that I am in fact the daughter of the Alpha from Shadowlight.

You might think that I lack skill but trust me, you have yet to see what I can do. So, please.

Don't try your luck or else I will reveal your identity to Baekhyun, the Nightmoon pack as well as the whole school.

See what I just did there? I know your true identity. Don't ever test my patience or you will have the worst and perhaps, the LAST year of your life.

Taeyeon read the whole letter and her eyes were filled with rage.

She looked at the glass on the table and the glass dropped to the floor.

She was infuriated that this is happening. It was her chance of helping her pack but Tiana had to get in the way.

Her eyes were filled with tears. She was so consumed in her anger that she didn't notice or hear that Baekhyun was right in front of her.

"Are you okay?" Baekhyun asked.

There wasn't any response.

Her eyes were still staring right at the letter without blinking.

Baekhyun stepped closer to her and shook her.

"Taeyeon?" Baekhyun said.

This time round, Taeyeon looked up at Baekhyun and her anger was gone immediately.

It was weird to Taeyeon. It's as if he was able to calm her down immediately just by looking at her.

Taeyeon then blinked her eyes for a few times and regained her composure.

"Oh um, yea I am fine." Taeyeon said and she pushed his hands away gently.

"What happened? You looked so angry." Baekhyun asked with concern.

"Oh well..." Taeyeon said hesitantly and looked at the letter once more.

"It's just family issues like controlling father that wants me to transfer to another school. You know, over protective dad." Taeyeon explained.

"And you got so angry because of that?" Baekhyun asked curiously.

"Yeah. Uh anyways, we have to get back to our assignment right? So what would you like? I have water, orange juice and uh-" Taeyeon said hesitantly but she got cut off.

"It's fine. I'm good. Let's just get started with work. Shall we?" Baekhyun said with a smile and left the kitchen.

"There's definitely something more than that.." Baekhyun thought.

Taeyeon let out a sigh of relief as she sees him leave the kitchen.
