“Ohhh someone looks like they had a rough night last night,” Baekhyun quipped as he caught up to Tao who was taking an early morning stroll with Candy, his dog, in an attempt to wake himself up.

Tao softly rolled his eyes towards the other, “The couch bed is lumpy.”

Baekhyun rolled his eyes, “How many times is that now?”

“Does it really matter?” Tao said with a sigh, “I’ve got a few more months of this.”

The brown haired boy nodded, “Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see Sehun as a mommy though.”

Tao beamed brightly, “He’s going to be a brilliant mother, he’s so caring and patient.”

Baekhyun chuckled, “To be honest I always thought it would be you who would be the mommy.”

Pouting Tao looked to the other, “Why?”

“Cause you’re way more girlie and are a total cry-baby,” Baekhyun teased good naturedly, “plus you brought the most unmanly dog in the world.”

“Don’t listen to him Candy baby,” Tao said, trying to sound indignant but failing because Candy wasn’t actually paying the least bit of attention to him, “you are manly.”

“She’s cute and fluffy and you put bows in her fur,” Baekhyun said, “She is not the sort of dog that any bloke would buy.”

Tao rolled his eyes, “Oh yeah, and what would you buy?”

“A Dalmatian,” Baekhyun said without pause, immediately setting Tao off into a total laughing fit, “What, they’re a manly dog.”

“Disney made a cartoon about them!” Tao giggled happily in reply, shaking his head to the other.

“So,” Baekhyun pouted pausing for a fraction of a second, “Wait those are the ones who are used for mountain rescue right?”

Immediately Tao was off on another laughing spree because he could not believe just how much of an idiot that Baekhyun was being right now. Granted Yixing could have his moments and completely lived in the land of rainbows and sunshine sometimes but even he would not make as silly an observation as that. When he was finally able to get his breath back, Tao grinned at his fellow band mate and shook his head, “No, Dalmatians are white with black spots. I think you’re talking about Beethoven’s.”

“I’m not even sure that’s an official dog breed,” Baekhyun said, pouting before grinning when Candy turned to bark at them as if she were telling them off for not complimenting her whilst they were talking about other dogs.

Baekhyun couldn’t help but chuckle fondly, “Heh I’ll tell you one thing though.”

“What?” Tao asked, looking up from where he had crouched down to pet Candy and give her a little doggy treat which he appeared to carry everywhere with him these days.

“She’s definitely your dog cause she’s a little attention seeker,” Baekhyun grinned before taking off at a quick pace to avoid getting punched in the head by the younger but much taller man.

Candy blinked at the pair of them before getting back to her previous task of sniffing the grass which was much more fun than watching the pair play ‘avoid getting hit on the head’ for the millionth time.
