HOYA'S POV

i looked at the sleeping angel resting on my shoulder and i couldn't help but sigh

i moved bora's head so she's lying down more comfortably and i went to the bathroom and washed my face 

once i got out i saw dongwoo outside waiting for me "meeting," he said bluntly 

"where? in the plane?"

"yes. there is a conference room on this plane and TOP hyung needs to video chat. he said it's an emergency," and at those words i ran to the conference room with dongwoo right behind me 

once i entered i saw the others waiting for us and TOP hyung on the large projector screen

"what is it hyung?" sungkyu hyung asked 

"after you boys left, i did some research on the Hwang family and..." he paused as if he had to say something he didn't want to say

"what is it?" L asked impatiently 

"there is one remaining family member Hwang Jae Su,"

"Hwang Jae Su?"

"Yes and i looked into him and he changed his name four years ago to..Ok Taekyeon,"

"WHAT?!" I yelled as i slammed my hand down on the wood desk 

"you're saying Taekyeon hyung was behind everything?"

"yes so i checked Kang Hee Woo, the man who wanted Yoon Jae Hyuk and his family dead and he's not a real person. There's no one in the entire world with the name Kang Hee Woo,"

suddenly top hyung's face started minimizing and moved to the right side of the screen and on the big screen was Ok Taekyeon 

"you've been behind everything," i said bitterly 

" i can't believe  you guys took this long. Jeez. i thought you boys were the #1 gang and yet you guys weren't able to find things out sooner," he mocked 

"SHUT IT!" TOP hyung yelled as we can see his angry face in the corner screen

"w..."

" *snicker* you're not going to ask why i did it. are you? because i'm pretty sure you know why and if you don't. well you will soon," he teased 

"you bastard, you had us wrapped around your finger the entire time,"

"yes i did *laugh crazily*"

"then why involve the girls when we are your targets?"

"you're not my target,"

"what? but..."

"i said you guys aren't my targets"

"then why the hell are you doing this to us?"

"hitting two birds with one stone," he said nonchalantly 

"YOU'RE REALLY CRAZY AREN'T YOU?!" L yelled 

"now now L. You don't want to lose your temper now. i've said too much already. NOw try to find out the rest on your own seeing how you boys are still clueless," he said before he ended the video chat 

"damn," i muttered as i slammed my hands on the desk once again 

"is there something wrong?" i heard Seungyeon ask through the door

"nothing's wrong sweetie," woohyun replied 

"okay then," and we could hear her walking away

"hyung what do we do?" sungjong asked the leader

"right now were going to stick to the reason on why we came here and when we return to korea were going to talk to TOP hyung to figure something out," he said seriously and suddenly he started snickering 

"why are  you laughing?" i asked as i looked at him like an idiot 

"so hoya, how was the kiss?"

"w..what?" was my response as i was surprised sungkyu hyung saw everything 

"you kissed?!" L asked astonished 

"you and sungkyu hyung kissed? ewwww!!!" sungjong said innocently 

"Yah! " I yelled and smacked him across the head 

"no you dummy. Hoya and Bora kissed duh," wooyhun clarified 

"ohh~ awwwww~" 

i smiled but that quickly disappeared 

"you guys know this trip will be our goodbye right?" i asked and they were queit 

"you guys know we need to tell them everything right?" this time thy respsonded with a nod 

"you guys know it will be hard right?"

then sunjong started crying 

"Yah. why are you crying?" 

"hyung. i don't want to do it. can't we do it later? huh hyung?" 

"sungjong it's time. we can't delay it any longer,"

"i just told GNA noona i liked her...no..i told her i loved her. i was finally able to say those 3 wrods and yet we have to say goodbye already?"

"sungjong i said i love you too bora too. that is why we kissed but there is no choice,"

"why do you keep saying that...we don't have a choice. WE HAVE A CHOICE! AND WE CAN CHOOSE NOT TO DO IT. i know you hyungs don't want to do it either,"

"i don't. why would i do that to a girl i love? to the girl that changed me?" i asked "but we need to find out what really happened and if we stop everything right now. Taekyeon is going to push us to do it and he might do so by hurting the girls,"

"you don't think what we are doing is going to hurt them?" L asked angrily 

this time, i no longer saw cold-blooded killers but teenage boys who fell in love 

i smiled 

"you guys changed...just like i have," i said and my smile wouldn't disappear 

L chuckled 

" i remember before meeting the girls. L you were always so cold but now you smile so warmly," dongwoo pointed out and L smiled once again 

"i wonder what dasom did to you?" woohyun asked 

"like the other girls did to you...she melted my cold killer heart," he said cheekily 

we all chuckled 

"they sure did," Sungyeol agreed 

"7 girls we knew we had to hurt and yet we couldn't help but fall from them," sungkyu hyung said as he shook his head 

"i love her soo much. So much it is hard to describe it with words," sungyeol said and the others agreed 

"i'm just afraid she won't know how i really feel to her once we do what we do at the island," woohyun said 

10 minutes til landing. All passengers put on your seatbelt. Repeat landing in 10 minutes all passengers please be seated. the captain ordered 

soon enough a flight attendent knocked and came in and reported us back to our seat and once we did, i saw bora awake and excited 

"hey where'd you go?"

"just had a talk with my boys you know 'men' talk" 

she chuckled 

"right~"

"look were here" she pointed out and i looked through the window and i was breath-taken by the beauty

"wooow," i said out of admiration 

"it's pretty right?"

i nodded 

"this island is called melody island it belongs to the 7 of us and we come here whenever we have time to relax and get away from our parents,"

i chuckled 

once we landed, the girls gave us a tour of the island and it was gorgeous

but honestly during the tour all i could do was stare at bora and ponder on how to tell them 

i sighed 

it was hopeless...i was hopeless 

it's just best to naturally reveal it...right?

MEANWHILE 

YOON JAE HYUK POV

"WHAT? THE GIRLS ARE WITH INFINITE?!" i yelled once i heard the news 

"alright you may leave," i ordered hannah and i immediately grabbed my phone and made a call

"dongjun its me. go to melody island and bring back the girls but while you're at it bring back the boys but reveal everything to the girls first so they'll stay away from them for good. got it okay," and i ended the call

i stared out the window 

"you boys are dead..." i threatened as i stabbed my knife into my desk

BORA'S POV

It was already night time but throughout the tour I’ve noticed hoya oppa being distracted for the entire. I was worried but what really scared me is, it wasn’t only hoya oppa but the others as well.  They would smile and laugh but they never seemed genuine about their happiness.

As seconds, minutes, hours passed, my uneasiness continued to grow

I pulled hoya aside as the others were shopping for the boys clothes

“what’s going on?” I asked immediately

“what do you mean?” he asked clueless

“this whole day you…no, all of you have been acting weirdly. What’s going on?” I demanded for an answer

“there’s nothing going on,” this time his voice wasn’t soft but cold and distant

“I’m serious. What is going on?” I asked fiercely

“there is nothing going on,” he said just as seriously and firmly

I looked up at the night sky and exhaled in frustration

“tell me hoya,”

“YOON BORA!” he yelled

“LEE HOWON!” I yelled in return

At that time the others joined us

“what’s with the yelling? You guys are ruining the vacation mood,” soyu said as she pouted  but everyone stopped talking once they saw me and hoya glare at each other

I turned to the others and stared at all of the boys’ faces

“what is going on?” I asked. They had confused faces

“him,” I pointed at hoya “woohyun, dongwoo, sungjong, sungkyu, sungyeol and L, all of you. WHAT. IS. GOING. ON? Why are all of you acting so weird today?”

This time their expressions stiffened

“Nothing’s going on so stop being nosy,” hoya commanded and started walking away

I swiftly grabbed his arm and turned him around

“fine you want to know? I used you, no. We used you. You girls were right to be suspicious of us from the beginning. We are killers. Why did we go to your school? To kill you…Yoon. Bo. Ra,” he said heartlessly. He then looked right into my eyes and smirked

I let his arm go as tears started to form

“w.what?”

“love? You think I love you. Ha. Pathetic ,” he sneered at me

Tears continued to roll…one by one as his word were pricking me like needles

“Everything was a…act?” I asked as it was starting to get hard for me to control my tears

Everyone was silent and suddenly I heard seungyeon ask woohyun, “It’s not true right?”

No reply was needed as she seemed to have known the answer as he went over to Hoya’s side

“y…you used me? You approached me on purpose?” I asked and he nodded coolly, as if it wasn’t a big deal. As if he’s done this multiple times

I started feeling dizzy. Tears after tears, I couldn’t calm down

“Why?”

“Do I need a reason to kill you?”

“Huh…y…you. YOU MONSTER!” I yelled as I sobbed

By then, the rest of infinite was by hoya’s side

“YOU ALL ARE MONSTERS! HOW COULD YOU? HOW?!”

“I’m not the only one to blame. Who said to fall for me?” he asked. I scoffed

“You…your feelings, everything…fake…”

DASOM’S POV

Everything was too much for me. Everything was coming at me…no all of us at once. I looked at L. I had little hope as I thought I could trust L oppa this one time but that faded away once I saw him smirk and glare at me

I was boiling. My tears were out of anger and betrayal. I went up to him and slapped him. I bit my lip so I wouldn’t break down and cry out loud

“y…you,” but no words would come out. I shut my eyes and let my tears fall. I opened my eyes to be greeted by his cold eyes

I shifted my gaze to hoya oppa “oppa. No, hoya. You’re right. It’s our fault for falling for oppas. How idiotic and pure of us to fall for murderers like you,”

I turned my gaze back to L

“do you know why I fell for you? When I first met you, you were so cold and unapproachable b…but your eyes. Your eyes were those of a  lost puppy. One I wanted to take care of and give love to. But that was a mistake, wasn’t it?” I said before walking away.

Tears…tears for him

Kim myung soo…to know your feelings, no to know you are a killer, is frightening and disgusting. Your insincere feelings have killed me

GNA POV

Right after dasom left, hyunyoung followed not saying one word. Before she left, she only covered her face to hide everything, her pain, her tears, her shame. She cried silently and walked away but turned around once to stare at her lover but broke down in tears quickly and ran away, feeling like an ugly duckling. I too, was about to follow my maknaes but I need to say one thing

“sungjong, up until this point I’ve always been happy. Before I went to sleep I would smile like an idiot just thinking about you but, now til death, my memories of you will always be a nightmare,” I said as tears as the size of clear diamonds strolled down my face

“I love you b…but I regret it s.so m..much now,” it was getting hard for me speak as just staring at him made my heart ache. I looked at him once more before turning my back on him

SUNGKYU'S POV

Just like we’ve imagined. They are hurt and one by one they are turning their backs on us. First dasom then hyunyoung then gna, hyorin, seungyeon then…then soyu. Only bora was left. She looked at each and everyone one of us and started laughing but once again was replaced with tears. The same tears all of the girls shed

“this was why you asked if we would forgive you if you hurt us. Was that question sincere or was it also all a show?”

None of us answered

She just nodded “I already know the answer,” she said and turned around and started walking away like they all did

“next time we see your back we won’t let you off. You will die,” hoya warned

I could see him trying really hard to hold back his tears

Bora was losing her balance. In the end, she fell to the floor and even when she was 10 yards away from us, we could hear her cries. I saw hoya debating whether or not to go to her but I held his arm and shook my head. He too was crying…he was crying along with her.

She slowly got back up but her legs were shaking

She turned towards us again and walked right in front of us

“Then kill me. It’s better than living and getting more pain. Just kill me,” she begged

Hoya turned around as he couldn’t take it anymore, none of us could

“p…please….just kill me. JUST KILL ME!” she yelled and sobbed

Hoya turned back around and took out his hidden sword and layed it on bora’s neck

“close your eyes,” hoya ordered

“no. kill me but kill me with you looking into my eyes. Even after I die the look in my eyes will haunt you. The guilt for killing me will grow,”

“what do you know?” hoya asked as he regained himself

He leaned closer to her and whispered “you’re not the first person I killed and you’re not going to be my last. What makes you think I’m going to feel anything after killing you?”

BORA’S POV

Suddenly hoya’s sword was removed from my neck and soon I saw dongjun with the other GF (graceful fire) along with 100 bodyguards. 6 of infinite started fighting everyone else and it was only hoya and dongjun with me in the middle.  

Their swords clashed couple of times but when they were about to strike again I stood right in the middle as my back faced hoya and I was directly facing dongjun with both swords at my neck

“You could’ve been killed. Move,” and dongjun pushed me aside. I was on the floor but I got back up and stood in between them again, this time I was facing hoya. “I’ll kill you too,” hoya threatened

“kill me first and then kill him,” I said trying to persuade them to stop

“fine,” he said without hesitation. His answer took me off guard and I was too distracted as I was staring at him in disbelief that I didn’t realize the sharp pain in my stomach until I looked down to see his sword embedded into my stomach

“I’m a killer. I kill without hesitation but it’ll be fun to play with you,” he said as he chuckled

He pushed the sword into me more and I groaned and coughed up blood

“stop it!” Dongjun yelled and I could see him about to strike hoya but hoya quickly took his sword out of me and ---- I closed my eyes. Once I opened them I saw dongjun on the floor, blood gushing out of him. I was disgusted and afraid of hoya as he killed dongjun by injecting his sword through his neck.

“d…dongjun,” I whispered and fell to the floor next to him

“murderer,”

“what a pity. I killed your lover. You’re next but I’ll wait to finish you off. It’s not fun to kill people so quickly. Consider this a warning,” hoya teased and him and the others walked away. I layed on the cold concrete floor as I held my bleeding stomach. Up ahead I saw 7 figures walking away, they were getting further and further…

“LEE HOYA!” I yelled with the remaining energy I have left

He disappeared and I was finally able to see what was in front of me.

Everyone was dead…yunho, CAP, junsu, dongjun, and g-dragon, along with 100 bodyguards…dead

My vision started to blur as tears started to cover my eyes again. I was lying on my back and I admired the night sky even in this situation

“lee hoya next time I’ll catch you. I’ll catch you for killing innocent people, you monster. I won’t forgive you,” I said before going unconscious

HOYA’S POV

It’s better to die by my hands then a stranger

Yoon bora…you will die…I’m finally awake to reality. Today you woke me from my fantasy. I am a monster. I am a killer. That is why now, I will do what I lived to do my entire life. I will complete my mission…I will kill you with no lingering feelings
