TOP'S POV

i paced around the technology room as i heard of hoya's arrest from the boys and i know for sure that hoya didn't kill the girl because he would've gotten rid of all the evidence

then who did?

someone called the police in time to capture Hoya right on the spot 

i went on the computer and went on the AR list and thankfully the boys' identity were still sealed 

i decided to hack the other gang's database

i managed to open all the files and put them all on the screen 

i looked at their target, personal info, leaders, how many kills, and info of who was killed 

nothing seemed suspicious until...i looked at the leaders' names again 

"what the hell?" 

i made sure i didn't see it wrong but it was all there 

"who is ordering to kill them?" i asked myself

"HYUNG!" i heard the boys yell and their footsteps 

i quickly exit out of what i researched and deleted my research history 

"what were you deleting hyung?" Sungyeol asked being the first one to arrive 

"Nothing,"

"No, you deleted something,"

"Fine...i was uh...watching ,"

Sungyeol snickered and patted my shoulders 

"Hyung~ i didn't know you were that kind of person," 

I cleared my throat and the others arrived

“what the hell happened? I asked

“Hoya got arrested,” woohyun informed of what I already knew

I smacked him in the head “I know THAT happened you dimwit, but what happened?” I asked again

“we don’t know, we were on the dance floor the whole time but I thought I heard hoya yelling so I was about to go to him and then we heard police sirens,” dongwoo stated

“and by the time we got there, we saw hoya getting arrested. He was covered in blood and he was looking at a dead body that was being carried to the ambulance,” L informed

“Sungyeol check who the dead girl was and why she was at your dance,”

“Uhh…Kang Yeseul, age 28. Owner of YUMMY BAKERY and she was catering for our dance,”

“But why was it that when we all went to get the desserts her body wasn’t there but when hoya hyung suddenly arrived and like magic her body was there?” Sungjong questioned

“Hoya realized that there was one more batch still at the kitchen. How many minutes was it from when we got the other desserts to Hoya going back to the kitchen?” Sungkyu asked   

“Only about 3 minutes,” Sungyeol estimated

“That’s not enough time to kill someone; she could’ve fought back,”

“But what if he/she attacked from behind?”

“That doesn’t take long but by then Hoya would’ve already arrived at the kitchen. There’s no way for him to escape either. The back door were locked as well as the windows, the front door was the only one unlocked.”

“Then they must’ve just dumped the body and left,” I said

“That’s the thing though, it only takes 3 minutes to get there if you walk and if you walk for only a minute you have a clear view of the kitchen doors so you can see who goes in and comes out,” L said

Sungyeol then showed us the school’s CCTV

He fast-forwarded it to the part where the boys get the desserts

Only a few seconds after a hooded figure appears and we see the dead body in his arms

He went in and came back out

“Stop here, zoom into his face,” I ordered

“He covered his face well,”

“But look at his expression when he entered the kitchen he was already nervous and afraid but when he comes back out he sees someone and his expression reads surprise,” I pointed out

“Are there any more CCTV’S in the area that can get a different angle?” and Sungyeol brought up 4 CCTV’s

“Right when the killer left the kitchen he saw hoya but hoya’s back was facing him,”

“Hoya was distracted and then he saw the guy running and followed but returned because he lost the guy,”

“He pauses then runs back into the kitchen remembering the blood on the runner,” the boys explained amongst themselves reading their brother’s actions

“We need to catch the real murderer,”

“But we need to get Hoya out first. Let’s go back to school. The girls are still there, they need to hand the original CCTV videos over to the police,” Sungkyu ordered and the 6 left

I collapsed on the couch and rubbed my forehead with 3 fingers

“What the hell is going on?”

BORA’S POV

i was shaking, not because it was freezing but because the image of hoya holding onto that girl was haunting me 

"Bora...Bora," someone said while shaking me 

i finally snapped back into reality and saw the girls surrounding me as the dance continued 

"i don't know what happened but..." 

"Girls!!...." we heard familiar voices yell and saw the 6 boys running towards us 

"Hoya hyung is innocent," sungjong said 

"how do you know?!" i asked doubting hoya

"we don't, not unless we check the CCTV," and we all ran to the K&Q building and Sungyeol and Sungyeon sat down and started touching the equipment and an image appeared, it was fast-fowarded to the scene after we retrieved the desserts 

the girls gasped as they saw someone carry the dead girl's body into the kitchen and leave 

The guy started running 

Sungyeol then opened up another video with a different angle and it was of hoya

"Hoya was distracted but he turned around in time to see the guy and ran after him,"

Hoya returned back into the screen-shot 

"Oppa lost track of the guy but probably remembered the blood all over the runner's jacket that's why he went back inside," 

"Let's turn this into the police and get hoya out of jail," GNA unnie said and everyone started leaving but hyunyoung turned around 

"you're not coming? 

i shook my head but i followed them out anyways and drove in different directions 

i went home but i asked a student to run the remaining hour of the dance 

i arrived home and saw mom

"Why are you here?" she asked 

"It's my home too," i said tiredly but with an attitude 

"The dance didn't even end yet,"

"I wasn't feeling well,"

i was walking upstairs til umma said "you are the representative of your school. it up and go back,"

i wasn't feeling well already and umma was just adding fuel to the fire 

" off ," i said in a low and dangerous voice

i slammed my door and jumped on my bed 

i wanted to forget everything for a few hours by sleeping...

HOYA'S POV

i waited patiently in the jail cell as i knew my boys had a way to get me out and in seconds they walked through the door with the girls except one. They ran up to me and asked if i was okay and i told them i was

i looked at them making sure i didn't just pass over her face

"She's not here. She didn't come," GNA said as she noticed i was looking for her. i was disappointed but i understood 

they left for 5 minutes to return with an officer and let me go

"you're free to go. you're lucky your friends found this evidence quickly or else  you would've stayed in here longer,"

I thanked the officer and we left the station

"thanks guys," i said 

"aw no problem hyung. GROUP HUG!" sungjong randomly declared and i did end up squished because of a 13 people group hug

NEXT DAY

when we arrived at school, most people looked at me in pity as they saw the news about the police falsely accusing me of murder

i didn't let it bother me but what did was Bora. why wasn't she here? Was she avoiding me?

at lunch i walked up to the girls' table and she still wasn't there

"No bora's not here today," gna told me reading my mind again

"do you know why?"

"don't think it's your fault,"

"Man noona how do you do that?"

"you're too easy to read,"

"Were going over to her house to check up on her wanna come?" hyorin asked 

i nodded 

"Then meet us by the school gate once you're out,"

i said okay and went back to my boys . the day went by REEEEAAAALLLY slow, probably because i was just staring at the clock for 3 hours. I ran past the guys once the school bell rung and bolted down to where i was supposed to meet the girls and found them waiting for me. 

The 6 drove in one car while i followed behind them

We arrived in front of a big gate and which seemed like we were at a garden

"this is bora's house?"

"Yeah her mansion is like a 5 minute walk from this gate,"

"damn," 

I suddenly heard Bora’s voice but it wasn’t the cute 18 year old voice I was used to

I heard screaming and things being thrown

“What the hell is going on?” I asked but I didn’t hear an answer from the girls and saw that they passed the security gaurds and entered the gate

I was about to follow but the security gaurds blocked my path

“let me in,” I demanded, saying it with my uttermost masculine voice, but the gaurds didn’t budge. I was about to go all ninja on them but that Groo girl came out with a suitcase

“The girls told me to tell you sorry but you have to go home, you can’t visit bora today,”

I was about to just knock down the guards and enter but the girl held onto my arms

“They aso told me to kick your if you tried going in,” she threatened

I wasn’t scared, I would be able to knock this girl down in less than a minute but she’s a girl, what good would it be fighting her?

“Fine…BUT, you and me need to have a little talk first,”

“Okay, I have nothing important to do anyways,” and we walked to a café only 5 minutes away

We ordered some coffee and formally introduced ourselves

“So what’d  you want to know?”

“Dang what’s with girls, they all seem to be able to read my mind or something,”

She chuckled “You’re too easy to read,”

“And they say that too,” I said as I groaned

“Why do you have your luggage? Are you going on vacation?” I asked as I spotted the pink luggage with a blue backpack sitting by her side

“I got fired,” she said nonchalantly

“Why?”

“I should start from the beginning so you’ll understand better. Okay so at the age of 10 I became an orphan after my parents died in a car accident and Mr. and Mrs. Yoon took me in because they were friends with my parents. Bora’s parents wanted me to be bora’s bodygaurd because we are the same age so they thought we’ll be comfortable with each other. So when we first met we became instant friends. For a few months I thought Bora’s parents were really nice because they treated me as their own daughter but I made the wrong judgement. Only after 4 months of entering that household I got to know the true Yoon’s family that the press and outsiders never knew. Mr. and Mrs. Yoon always yelled at Bora for the stupidest and littlest things. Bora never said anything because she knew her life would be easier if she was obedient and just listened to her parents , but the first night of her freshmen year, her parents announced she will be marrying Dongjun that weekend and Bora was furious. She fought back, her parents were surprised of course, but they didn’t want to lose to a 15 year-old girl at that time. So instead her parents said to at least date him for awhile and she agreed. But after she broke things off with Dongjun, Bora’s family became chaotic. Her older brother, Joongki-sshi, left the house to live on his own because he couldn’t take it anymore. Bora was angry he left because he left her with them. Their relationship was always cold and awkward. Though they are siblings they never chatted. In that house she had no one to talk to but me, and today I was able to stand up for Bora this once and I immediately got fired. Bora’s relationship with her family was never great,”

“But I heard from others they are the DREAM family,”

“That’s all a show. Sometimes Mr. Yoon pretends to be loving in front of us but that rarely happens. Like in front of the public, he is the dream guy; a loving husband, ambitious businessman, and a caring CEO, but that image crashes once he arrives home,”

“Then why does he want so much protection for Bora?  It seems he cares for her somewhat,”

“Rather than protection it’s survelliance. He wanted to make sure Bora doesn’t ruin his image,”

“Don’t neighbors and people that just pass by their house hear them screaming and fighting? I mean I heard them today,”

“All the time but they don’t know that it’s Mr. Yoon yelling, they think it’s like burgulars or like the bodygaurds yelling,”

“Why doesn’t bora just leave her family like her brother. It’s legal for her to live on her own without her parents,”

“Bora isn’t the typical rich girl. She can live on her own by making her own money, that’s no problem for her but Bora is the only heir to her family’s company now. She escaped multiple times, sometimes fleeing Korea or just Soeul but they always manage to find her,”

“Any more questions?”

“Yeah just one more…if you found out someone wanted Mr. and Mrs. Yoon dead would you be surprised?”

“Yes..”

“But you said…”

“Yes at home he is a bastard but like I said he is the dream guy. In the outside world he doesn’t have any enemies only his children,"

"Wow what a two-faced psychotic..."

"Bastard..."

"Your too nice," i complimented 

"Thank you,"

and then the atmosphere got awkward, none of us spoke

i had nothing more to say or ask 

"You seem to care a lot about Bora," she said smiling warmly

i smiled back "More than you can imagine. I am afraid of making a mistake in front of her. I am afraid she will recieve pain and i am afraid she might leave me," i said sadly as only i knew the hidden tragedy about what i have to do to Bora in the future

" I can see the love you have  towards her,"

"How? the way i talk about her?"

"yes that but also your eyes. The way your eyes sparkle when you just talk about her,"

i smiled "She does have that affect on me,"

"Why are  you afraid of her leaving you. I mean you love her and i know she wouldn't leave you for the world,"

"How i wish my life would be a fairytale with a happy ending but i know my future and it's not that bright. All i can see is darkness and no light,"

"You're hiding one part of yourself from her," she said 

i looked up at her in alarm

"When i first saw you and your friends walk through the door i knew you guys weren't regular guys. You boys had this cold and dark aura coming off of your bodies' but the aura i got from your heart was insecurity, nervousness and loneliness,"

my heart started beating faster as i was nervous in the inside but i maintained my cool

"why do you say that?"

"i don't just say it, i know it,"

"What makes you so sure,"

"i don't know you or your friends but i know this...fate and destiny always change from the decision one makes. Your life will be a fairytale if you'll live the life you are supposed to. Don't try to make your life miserable and lonely on purpose because i promise you, you will regret it for the rest of your life," she said and she got up 

"Thanks for the coffee and i'm glad i got to know you better," she said and she walked out carrying her luggage 

after i was able to steady my beating heart, i paid for the coffee and went back to bora's house to get my motorcycle

i looked through the gates

"fairytale...i wish..."
