Hoseok's been whisked away for the next few days to meet clients and settle some last minute decisions for his upcoming wedding. Minah wants him to see the bridal dress that she ordered with a new designer, and the catering needs someone to try out the dishes that they'll be serving. The other directors in the company are planning to invest in the Swedish company so Hoseok has to be there when the deal is made. On top of that, he's required to oversee the new factory in Gwangju so he's expected to head down there in a couple of days, after he's done with everything else in his task list.

Taehyung only sees him at night, when he comes home looking exhausted and worn out, slumping down on the couch like a deadweight before staring at the television without even turning it on. For three nights he came home like a soulless zombie, doing the same thing every night, and Taehyung couldn't find it in him to tell about his pregnancy. Hoseok doesn't need another complication in his life, on top of everything else. 

On the other hand, Namjoon's the one who has been urging him to tell the employer. Blonde-haired Kim Namjoon is no longer taking no for an excuse. Despite knowing how busy Hoseok is, a man should always own up to a mistake he made. Plus, there's no way Taehyung could carry the child on his own. With only a meagre amount of salary he's supposed to receive every month, who's going to buy all his nutritions and medications? Who's going to pay the hospital fees? Jin and Namjoon could only do so much for the younger male, but there are certain things that they can't afford.

"Hyung, I want to eat lobster dipped in soy sauce!" Taehyung pouts adorably, tugging onto Namjoon's sleeve and the older male lets out a long long looooooong frustrated sigh.

"Yah, how in the world could a manager earning only two thousand dollars a month buy you a luxury food like that?! One piece of lobster will cost me a quarter of my pay."

He mentally panics when Taehyung lets out a small sniff after that, shoulders slumped in defeat as he goes back to the kitchen looking dejected and Namjoon feels like a million-dollars a**hole. "Arasso arasso! I'll buy you that friggin lobster, and it'll be on your tab. Pay me once you earn your salary, do you understand? Aish, at this rate I might as well sign up to be that child's father. I have to invest on a kid that's not even mine. Aishhhhh!"

Taehyung gives him a gleeful smile and cutely says, "Thank you, hyung! You know I love you too, right?"

"I wish you'd love me less. Go bother Jin hyung next time."

"But you know how he hates being bothered when he's busy in the garden. And what if he comes after you for allowing me to disturb him? Oh?"

"Aishhhhhhh... I hate my life. You're lucky I don't hate you, you little brat. I'll get your lobster after I send off some letters at the post office, so stay put and cook something. Jimin and Jungkook are coming later. Oh yeah, Yoongi hyung is coming tonight too. Think of something to make for dinner, ok."

"Oooook, hyung. Drive safely."

This had been going on ever since Taehyung found out about his pregnancy, and Namjoon and Jin are struggling to make his demands. It's not like they can't say no to him, but seeing Taehyung so upset feels like a blow to the guts. Here's two men trying to baby an annoying alien who has no one else but them, so they naturally feel some sort of obligation towards Taehyung. 

When Namjoon returns a few hours later, with a jar of fresh lobster from a nearby market and Hoseok's sick pet dog, Soonshim, Taehyung's practically beaming with happiness. He squats down to pat the dog's head, kissing it so openly that Namjoon has to drag him away. "Yah, it just got out from the vet! You're pregnant, you're not supposed to go near it. What if it's carrying diseases?"

"Hyung, the doctor never mentioned anything about staying away from animals. Plus, how come I didn't know about him until today? Why didn't you tell the boss has a pet?" 

"That's because it caught a bad flu and had to be hospitalized for a month. The day you came... that was the day I rushed it to the vet. But little Soonshim looks better now. Boss loves this dog more than anything else in the world, so don't forget to bathe it every three days and only feed cooked food like rice and boiled chicken. The vet said he might not survive another flu so it's best to take precautions now."

"Oh, you poor boy, Soonshim." Taehyung says, rubbing his face against Soonshim's fur and the dog simply allows him, not budging from the spot he's sitting. Either he's still feeling unwell, or Taehyung just radiates warmness all over, the dog has taken a liking to the maid in an instant. Namjoon watches in amusement as Soonshim climbs onto Taehyung's lap and the guy has practically disappeared behind the mountain of fur on his lap.

Both of them aren't sure what breed Soonshim is, because Hoseok found it inside a box years back and someone left the poor mutt in front of his house. It's been three years since then, and Soonshim should now be around four years old. Taehyung dotes on the dog like his own pet, babying it until Namjoon is quietly cringing inside over the excessive cheesiness that the maid is displaying on the dog. And before he could ask the younger male, why do you like animals so much?, Taehyung speaks out.

"To be honest, I never thought about owning a pet before. It's only when I was ten when I saw a couple of the neighbourhood kids playing with their pets at the playground and I thought, ahhh... how I wished I was there and not here, polishing shoes. I didn't even think I like animals. I just wanted someone to play with, and i thought if I had a pet, then I'll never have to think about losing a friend."

"You do know that animals live a shorter life than humans, right?"

"Yeah, I knew about that." Taehyung remarks sadly. "which is why I never had a pet. Plus, my employer wouldn't have allowed it. Most of the houses I worked in didn't have a pet. Either the owners were allergic to animals, or it was just too much work. I wouldn't have minded the work to be honest. It was better than being off alone the whole time."

Namjoon feels sorry for Taehyung.

Min Yoongi comes in three flavours: dashing, cool, and swag. It's not everyday a man in a business suit comes in on a fine Saturday afternoon, showering high fives to Jimin, Jungkook, Jin and Namjoon, before depositing (sprawled out, really) himself on the couch like he owns the place, but not in a snobbish arrogant way that Minah would. 

No, Min Yoongi is a dangerous combination of cute, hot, y, smart, awesome and of course, swag. No one does it better than him. Namjoon had mentioned tidbits about Yoongi a day back, that this 26-year-old gentleman is not a force to be reckoned with. He may look cool and composed on the outside, though he's anything but when he's at work. Dedicated to his job, with on-point speech precision, charming good looks, and a knack for drawing in trouble, Min Yoongi could turn your life inside out if he wants to.

Just make sure you don't get on his bad side, and you'll be fine.

It all begins with a single handshake, Hoseok happily introducing his best friend to Taehyung. Yoongi gives the maid a sweeping look from top to bottom while their hands are still bind in a shake before he addresses Hoseok. "This one's a keeper."

"Just make sure you don't mention that in front of Minah." Hoseok laughs back, and Taehyung doesn't know why he's feeling upset suddenly. Hoseok made it appear as if he's a secret mistress belonging to the boss and for some odd reason, Taehyung feels dirty being in that position. He couldn't voice out his opinion though.

"Nice to meet you, Taehyung-ssi. I guess you should know me by now. I'm Yoongi, but you can call me Suga."

"Suga? Is that your nickname or something?"

"Yeah, it's a nickname I got back in high school. In fact, everyone has a nickname, but I'm the only one who still uses it actively."

"Oh really? Then what's Namjoon hyung's nickname?"

"Yah, why do you need to know mine first?" Namjoon cuts in, face turning red by then.

"Oh, his was the funniest." Jimin says, already laughing at the thought of it, and he receives a worthy spank on the by the manager after that. "Why don't you tell him yourself, hyung?"

"Hell no!"

"Then I'll tell," Yoongi states, cutting off their bicker immediately. "It's RapMonster. He was such a good rapper back then that the whole school practically supported the idea. And because he follows Jin hyung around a lot, the president received the title 'princess'."

"It's all Namjoon's fault. There was a reason I got annoyed with him back then. And he's still HERE, beside me. It's so difficult to get rid of him," Jin remarks in joking manner and Namjoon gives him a pouty dog look.

"Hoseok was J-Hope or something, right, dude?" Yoongi asks his best friend.

"Yeah, I was always the brightest kid in school. Never did anything legitimately wrong to get into the teachers' bad books and never being anywhere without a smile," Hoseok explained happily.

"And his nickname usually makes me cringe. But I would admit that it suits his personality," Yoongi finishes up his remark, and the other guys casually agree.

"I was ChimChim, and Jungkook was Kookie. We usually come up with pairing names too, like imagine if we were together, and Kookie is with RapMonster." 

"KookieMonster!" Jungkook cheerily states.

Taehyung recalls what a warm night it had been, with the guys all huddled up in the living room playing a rowdy game of Truth-or-Dare because it's just seven guys being in one place together, and Minah's away on a business trip in Busan for a night. Soonshim joins their rank by being the leg warmer, though he's usually stuck to Taehyung most of the time, and Yoongi made a joke about the dog stealing Taehyung away from Hoseok.

At this point, the guys are well aware about Hoseok's and Taehyung's feelings for each other. They don't plan on stopping the two of them, but it's still sad to know that Hoseok can't cancel the wedding in two months. It's even sadder to know that Taehyung has to accept the fact that the man he came to like over the past four weeks would never settle down with him in a long term. He would always remain as the boss' temporary bliss from paradise.

When Taehyung excuses him midway game on the reason of getting more snacks, none of them suspect him the least. He rushes off to the bathroom connecting the kitchen, and there he retches out all the content inside his bowel from his dinner earlier, cursing the heavens above for making his nauseous at a time like this. The doctor did mention that morning sickness doesn't just occur in the morning, so Taehyung always had to be ready for it. Recently, it's been happening at night a lot.

He doesn't hear the click of the door opening, however, and is suprised to see Min Yoongi standing there a second later with a shocked look on his face. The man almost yells out for the others but Taehyung manages to clamp a hand over his mouth in time, giving him a hard look to not yell out for help.

"I'm fine, Suga hyung. You don't need to call them." He says before releasing his hand.

"Then why are you vomitting everything we ate earlier?"

"That's because I'm pregnant." Taehyung says it outright, hoping that no one is eavesdropping at the door. He had so many chances to tell Hoseok that night, but he doesn't know why his tongue is tied. Telling Yoongi seems so easy though.

"Y-you're WHAT?! Whose love child is this?!" Yoongi visibly panics, giving the younger male a full sweep from top to bottom again. He seems normal though; still thin with slightly sunken eyes (though he's not sure if Taehyung's eyes are usually sunken) that look a little tired, wet lips with a tiny residue of vomit somehow stuck in left corner of his mouth (he wiped it off a second later), reddish nose, and sweat-matted hair.

 "It's Hoseok hyung's kid. We might have had...sort-of a drunken that one night about three weeks back. To be honest, we were probably drunk out of the atmosphere during that moment, because we didn't actually drink anything before we did it. And two weeks later, POOF! I started vomitting all my food out and I really want to eat grilled cheese sandwich with jalapeno right now, but I think it's a bit too late to get it from the market."

"No , sherlock. It's like 2am in the morning."

Taehyung could see that Yoongi is mentally panicking inside, but he's just holding his cool. 

"So I thought of making one without the jalapeno."

"Are you kidding me?"

"Nope. I actually crave for it right now. And you've already witnessed my dinner getting flushed down the toilet, so now I'm hungry again."

Yoongi doesn't know how the conversation shifted from vomit to food so drastically, but there's a very very important question to ask first. Since the deed had been done, and there's no way Taehyung or Hoseok could undo the damage by now, the only other reasonable thing to ask next is whether Taehyung has already told Hoseok about this. Imagine the older male's surprise when Taehyung shakes his head, and all hell practically broke loose inside him.

"We are going to tell him. NOW." He remarks firmly, already grabbing Taehyung's wrist.

"Then what about my sandwich?"

"I'll buy you a truckload of it anytime you want after you tell Hoseok everything. He deserves to know this. I mean, hell! He's the f****** father to your child. What makes you think you could hide this from him?"

"I wasn't planning on hiding it."

They enter the living room by then, and the sight of Yoongi gripping tightly on Taehyung's wrist has Hoseok standing up to attention. "What's going on here, Yoongi ah?"

"This kid has something to tell you. Tell him, Kim Taehyung."

Namjoon and Jin are watching Taehyung closely, anticipating for the younger male to open his mouth. They stand deadly silent next to each other, while Jimin and Jungkook are mostly confused about what's going on.

And then Taehyung decides to let the world know about the secret he's been hiding for the past one week. You can rest assure, Hoseok didn't take it too lightly.

First and foremost... *kneels to the ground and does a bow* I am so so so so so sorry for not updating this in like... forever. I get frustrated when people don't update and im doing that myself. I'm currently stuggling with my inner sloth to write essays and assignments for my law papers. There's a lot to write ok. And Im doing english laws.
