“What the hell is this?” Kyungsoo scowled at the piece of parchment Chanyeol just handed over to him. “Read it, Kyungie! You too, Sehunnie!” The giant handed another similar parchment to Sehun. Kyungsoo narrowed his eyes at Chanyeol, who looked like he was dying to squeal in anticipation of Kyungsoo and Sehun’s reaction to whatever was written on the piece of parchment. “This can’t be good…” Kyungsoo whispered under his breath before unfurling the roll. His eyes gradually grew bigger with every word he read. See, I’m right. I’m always right. Stupid giant.

“How to Appreciate Muggles Club… Are you serious, Yeol?” Kyungsoo glared at Chanyeol, “There’s no way I’m joining such a stupid club!” Chanyeol pouted, “You should probably read the fine print…” Kyungsoo frowned and went back to eye the parchment. No way I’m going to say yes to this nonsense. No chance at all. 

P.P.S.: Kai will be there.

“WHEN’S THE FIRST MEETING? Don’t you dare touch my Kai!” Kyungsoo growled and tackled Chanyeol onto his bed. The latter clapped with glee at Kyungsoo’s (forced) acceptance of his invitation. “Sehunnie?” Chanyeol asked when there was nothing but silence from the boy’s side of the room. The two watched as Sehun sat frozen with the parchment in his hands, right in front of his face. Kyungsoo stood up worriedly and made his way over, plucking the other’s parchment out of his hands to read. The bulk of the invitation was the same, except for the fine print:

P.P.S.: We have spider-napped Monster.

P.P.P.S: The captive will only be released if you agree to join the club.

P.P.P.P.S.: A spider leg will be sent to you every hour you waste deciding whether or not to join.

P.P.P.P.P.S.: Do the math. You have eight hours to accept.

P.P.P.P.P.P.S.: Abducting a spider is not punishable by law, according to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S.: We checked.

“You took his beloved pet?” Kyungsoo hissed at Chanyeol. “He adores that spider. You’re breaking his heart… Look!” He gestured to Sehun who looked like he was just about to burst into tears. Just then, Sehun draped his long body all over Kyungsoo. “Kyungieeeeee! Bad Yeol took Monsie from me. Wahhhhh I don’t want to friend you anymore!” Sehun jabbed an accusing finger at Chanyeol’s direction. “Shush Sehunnie. Chanyeol won’t do anything to Monster; he wouldn’t even dare go anywhere near three feet of that spider… how will he be able to pluck out Monster’s legs? Just say you’ll join the club and all will be fine.” Kyungsoo comforted the wailing boy. “Apologize now!” He hissed at Chanyeol. The giant headed over hesitantly, “I’m sorry, Sehunnie. Guess I should have asked for your permission before abducting Monster.” What?! Kyungsoo facepalmed. “So will you join the club?” Chanyeol asked. Sehun nodded whilst still tearing. “Great!” Chanyeol beamed.

“The first club meeting will be held tomorrow night at the Kitchen. It’s a costume party, sort of like an initiation night… you guys have been assigned roles. Here are your dresses…” Kyungsoo and Sehun stared wide-eyed as Chanyeol dug around in his wardrobe, before emerging with three hideous-looking costumes. “D-Dresses?” Kyungsoo’s voice ran up a pitch. “B-But we’re males… aren’t we?” Sehun whispered and peeked down his shirt, checking if he had magically grown some s overnight. “The theme for the first meeting has been decided... that’s why we have these costumes!” Chanyeol whooped. “The theme is cross-dressing?” Kyungsoo deadpanned. “Nope! But e-erm, close enough.” Chanyeol clasped his hands together and squealed, “The theme for tomorrow will be-”

(pause for dramatic effect…)

“-‘I AM A DISNEY PRINCESS’. Yay!” Chanyeol cheered. Upon seeing the other two boy’s clueless faces, Chanyeol gasped. “You guys have not lived if you haven’t seen a Disney movie. How to appreciate Muggles lesson number one: live and breathe Disney animations.” Chanyeol said seriously. “Here! Kyungie, you’re Ariel.” Kyungsoo gaped and shook his head fervently when Chanyeol handed him his costume. “He’s a merman?” Sehun gawked at the sparkly sequin beads at the tail area. Chanyeol shook his head and corrected, “Mermaid. Female. Ariel is the Little Mermaid.” Kyungsoo scowled, “Why must I be the one without legs? How am I supposed to walk?” Kyungsoo gaped at his ‘tail’. “And what the hell is this?” He picked at the two seashells acting as a bikini top. Chanyeol tutted, “That’s why you should hurry up and kiss your Prince. Maybe you’ll get your legs back! Oh wait, kissing Kai won’t have any effect tomorrow night though… he’s going as Aurora, you know… the Sleeping Beauty, because seriously that boy can sleep anywhere.” Kyungsoo was about to reject being the Little Mermaid when Sehun hit the final nail in the coffin, “You look pretty hot as a mermaid though, Kyungie. Kai will have a nosebleed…” The shortest smirked inwardly. Fine, if I’m to be a mermaid, I’ll become the world’s hottest mermaid. *Flips hair

“Which Disney Princess am I?” Sehun clapped his hand excitedly. “You’ll be Belle!” Chanyeol handed him a huge yellow dress and a box. “You’re Beauty-” Chanyeol opened the box to reveal Monster, “-and the Beast!” The giant gestured to the spider that hissed at him for holding him captive in that small dark box. Die you human. Feel my spider fury. Die! Hiss. Chanyeol took precautionary steps backwards till he was hiding behind Kyungsoo’s smaller body. You never know when the beast will strike. “Monsie!” Sehun cradled his pet to his chest. “So you’re cool with being Belle?” Chanyeol asked. Sehun shrugged and nodded, “Can I bring Monster to the party too?” He peered up at Chanyeol with pleading eyes. “E-Erm, sure?” Chanyeol consented somewhat hesitantly.

“What are you going as then?” Kyungsoo eyed Chanyeol’s costume. The giant pulled out another one of his wigs, this time… a blonde one that seemed to extend to at least ten metres long. Sehun, who was distracted with Monster, turned around and let out a sharp scream, “SNAKEEEEE!” Kyungsoo rolled his eyes, “It’s a wig, Hunnie. Besides, you’re in Slytherin House… many would expect you to not be afraid of snakes.” Chanyeol donned his new wig and strike a pose, “Rapunzel, Rapunzel… let down your hair!” He then swung his blonde hair in Kyungsoo and Sehun’s face. The muggle-born then spent the whole afternoon educating his two friends of the various background and story of each and every Disney Princess.

“Why am I Mulan? And are you sure she’s a Disney Princess?” Luhan scowled at Kris. “She is.” Kris sighed and ran a hand through his wig, “I swear on Olaf’s snowman life that she is. And you’re Mulan because you’re Chinese.” Luhan squawked, “That’s so racist! You’re Chinese too… So is Lay, and Tao. Why am I stuck as Mulan?” The Gryffindor huffed. “E-Erm, cause she’s the manliest Princess?” Luhan blinked and slowly broke into a smile. “You guys finally agree that I AM THE MAN huh!” Kris sighed, relieved that Luhan bought his excuse. Actually, he was afraid that Luhan would throw a fit and demand to be Anna. Kris loves Frozen so much that he had jumped at the opportunity to dress up as her for today’s party. Let it go. Let it goooo~ Tao came up to his boyfriend just then, cradling his pet rabbit. “Hi, Snow White!” Luhan greeted the bunny. Kris frowned and corrected him; “He’s not Snow White for today… He’s acting as Olaf.
