Chapter001

  I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Great another day of school to go. I looked around, I was at Kris's house. Oh yeah my dad was drunk so I came here. Kris came in.        "Good to see your awake."        "You to giant." I said back. Compare to him I'm an ant. I'm not even 5 foot!          "We have school so get up here's your uniform."         "Thanks." I jump out of bed. I looked at him. He looked back. I made a funny face. He made one back. We burst out laughing. Kris is like the brother I always wanted. I'm an only child. When ever I have a problem I go to him. When I need to cry I go to him. Sure I go to the others sometimes but kris is the first friend I ever had so of course I'm going to go to him. Kris started to change. I did too. We're so close that we can change in the same room and it won't bug us.            "Hey kris do you remember how we first met?"           "Yes, do you?"            "Yes." We met on the first day of kindergarten. I had my hair in pigtails and the other kids started to make fun of them. Of course now it's no big deal, but then I was really upset. I even cried. Kris found me crying and made me feel better. He even said that he liked my hair like that. So on the day we first met I wear my hair in pigtails.
