#relatable... NOT
A Fan Fiction Writer's GuideFlaws are great.
This relates back to what I was saying about earlier. The more flaws a character has, the more relatable instead of a Mary Sue. Except too many flaws can make them not as realistic.
For example, a flaw could be some part of their personality that annoys people. Such as talking too much or being brutally honest. Or, it could be something like a superiority complex (if you don't know what that is, just look it up). Or maybe they're slightly chubby instead of this skinny, beautiful ulzzang that the author is trying to pass as "normal" or "ugly" or "plain" or "like everybody else" even though they have a picture of said "ugly, plain, normal" person like:
#totesrelatable #wecouldbetwins #plain #ugly #normal #JUST NO STOP IT
Do you see what I mean? They'll take pictures like that and say that this girl isn't popular and whatnot. If she came to my school, all the guys would be all over her. Please don't do that. Heck, don't even put a picture. Even a profile would be ok. Just NOT a picture.
