                                                                                                   -----------------------

Despite yesterday's late night snacking with Joonhyung and Gukjoo, Jackson had been one of the first to wake up the next morning. With one eye still shut, he struggled to reach for his buzzing cell phone that had been the source of his arousal. He made sure not to stir Kangjoon, who laid beside him, as he shifted in his bed to read the message from Bambam.

"Hey, hyung!! How did Roommate go? Did you sleep well? I just wanted to text you to let you know we're having fun without you. Mehrong~"

Jackson smiled as he noted the tongue sticking out emojis inputed the end of his message.

"Sure you are. I know you guys secretly miss me." Jackson rapidly texted back. He then looked on over to his roommate and thought for a bit how different this night had felt. He still couldn't get use to the fact that Kangjoon, whom he only met yesterday, was sleeping beside him instead of his Got7 bandmates. It had also took him a moment as he began searching for a pile of Mark's clothes and stuffed animals lying around to realize he was not in his dorm anymore. Instead, empty walls with limited furnishings faced him as Jackson got up to brush his teeth.

Once he was done getting ready, he jogged over to the kitchen to see what was the cause of the lingering aroma of kimchi early in the morning.

"Good morning, Jackson. Breakfast is almost ready." Jongok greeted him before turning her attention back to the kimchi pancakes. A camera latched on to the kitchen wall followed her movements as she flipped the pancake over to the other side.

Dongwook was also in the kitchen, helping to set out the plates.

After exchanging greetings, Jackson took his place beside Dongwook as he helped to place the food onto the plates. "Ah, hyung. I think we should decorate our rooms today."

"Oh, yes. I was thinking the same thing. After breakfast, then we'll go." Dongwook stated just as the rest of the members came down to eat.

Since the family was so huge, some members were bound to be busy as Joonhyung, Nana, Minwoo, and Gukjoo had to run off early in the morning to do their individual activites. Despite this, the rest of the members who remained were ebullient as they munched down on their breakfast pancakes. They complimented the food as well as shared more facts to each other, almost as if they were a normal family if it wasn't for the cameras lying around to catch their every word. Even Jackson, who had been worried that cameras would be a problem for him ever since yesterday, was completely unaware as he babbled like his usual self again.

"Jackson suggested we should decorate our rooms today. Why don't we go to the supermarket so we can buy groceries as well?" Dongwook said after everyone began to take a rest from their full stomachs.

"Oh, yes! We need blanket covers!" Youngji chirped at the thought of replacing the plain white ones in her room.

"Ok, let's do it. And some of us can stay behind to explore the neighborhood today." Seho agreed. He beckoned over to Sanghyuk who had came to visit while the members were busy eating breakfast.

"He will decide how to divide the members." Seho explained as Sanghyuk walked over to them, a clipboard in hand.

"Alright, since this is going to be your first outing together, I am going to be choosing who goes where. Seho, Kangjoon, Sunny, and Jongok, you four are one group. As for Dongwook, Ryohei, Jackson, and Youngji, you guys make up the other group. Have fun and make memories as you all start to become well acquainted with one another." Sanghyuk beamed at the cast before marching off to the side.

"Does him appearing get cut out?" Jackson asked Seho as everyone stood up to clear the dishes.

"Yes, it does." Seho chuckled at blunt Jackson as he patted him on the shoulder. "Have fun today, Jackson."

-----------

Jackson made sure to dress himself well for his first ever appearance outside with his roomates. After staring at his closet for several minutes, he finally decided to throw on a jersey tank with his name in big bold letters, etched in the middle. Jackson almost forgot about keeping his relations with Youngji a secret as he approached her room to ask her how he looked. Luckily, he stopped himself on time and asked Dongwook instead.

After he was done prepping, Jackson marched over to the car that was prepared for his group. The other members would be setting out by foot to greet their neighbors with some homemade traditional ricecakes. Jackson couldn't help but feel eager about today as he followed Youngji inside the car. However, he was so lost in thought he didn't notice she had already claimed her spot by the car door. He opened it to meet an annoyed Youngji who had to scoot over for Jackson to get in.

"You could have gotten in on the other side!" Youngji grumbled as she crossed her arms.

"Sorry, sorry." Jackson laughed at his mistake as he sneaked a glance at Youngji. Hey, at least we're sticking with our bickering promise.

"Aigoo, you two are something special." Dongwook grinned behind the front wheel as he saw Jackson assist Youngji who was struggling with her seat belt. He wanted to say more but he kept quiet in case he slipped anything regarding the two's history. As an alternative, he decided to start a conversation with Ryohei sitting beside him.

Thanks to the 30 minute ride, Jackson was feeling antsier than ever when they finally pulled to a stop at the supermarket. He rushed out and did a flip in the air as Youngji stared at him bizarrely.

The four of them then made their way over to the escalator where Dongwook began dicussing today's shopping list. "What did you want to buy again, Youngji?"

"Bed covers and pillows." Youngji exclaimed.

"Me too! I'm going to get one for Gukjoo noona." Jackson beamed. The two had grown close ever since last night's conversation and he couldn't help but feel reminded of his own mother whenever he sees her. So when he noticed Gukjoo's simple bedspread that day, Jackson figured today would be the perfect opportunity to get her a new one while she was away.

"Oooohh, do you like her?" Youngji grinned mischievously at him.

"Yeah." Jackson nodded to the surprised reaction of not only Youngji, but Dongwook and Ryohei as well.
