Lu Han is impatient. His feline, jet black tail is erratically moving back and forth, thumping against the plush couch behind him as he stares at the clock hung on the wall. His similarly jet black ears twitch with every explosion he hears from the television in the room, but not even Iron Man can get him to divert his attention long enough to enjoy the action scenes playing out in front of him.   He messes with his red collar, the golden medallion on it, and he feels like it’s a lifetime before he hears the door finally unlocking. Grunts enter the apartment and Lu Han is on his feet in an instant, scrambling his way for Yifan who’s being supported by Minseok who looks about ready to collapse under the large weight of his puppy hybrid.   His eyes shine with worry and he helps his playmate over to the couch before Minseok finally heaves a sigh of relief. He reaches out to pet the soft sandy blonde puppy ears that don’t even twitch with his touch. He doesn’t even get a response back at all when he pulls on it and he immediately looks to Minseok who waves his hand dismissively in the air. “The doctor had to inject him with steroids and antihistamines so the hives would go away.”   “Is he going to be okay?” Lu Han whispers out for fear of disturbing his best friend’s recovery. It’s the feline side in him that makes him reach out to Yifan’s cheek, and it’s the human side of him that makes a strange noise and scrunches his nose in distaste because BB cream tastes nasty.   He feels Minseok come up behind him to pat his head. “It’s not your fault, you know? You don’t need to worry. He just needs to sleep off the first round of medications they gave him.”   But looking at Yifan passed out on their couch makes Lu Han worry even more. He maneuvers the larger body until he can lie down on top of him, making sure his fluffy tail isn’t trapped underneath him, and continues to alternate between kissing his lips and at them while running fingers through his hair and ears.   Minutes pass by and Lu Han eventually stops, moving to hide his head underneath Yifan’s chin and move his longer arm to wrap around his waist. Purrs start to escape his chest and he can feel it resonate within Yifan’s own and back into his pleasantly. He looks towards the television to see Iron Man flying back into the screen and he pays attention this time despite the rumbling going on through his chest.   His tail curls around Yifan’s arm to keep it secure around his back and his gaze shifts when he sees Minseok walk back into his field of vision, a small playful smile on his face with the bottle of medicine and a glass of water.
