"What? That's my daughter, this is preposterous!" I heard my father retaliate from across the room. He was fuming, no one was there to calm him down; not even my mother. She was silently weeping at a corner.

I was numb; not because of the ice cold wind that I had just experienced, but the scent of that vibrant blue flame. 

Light, dark, back to light and again to dark.

The faint scent of pine filled my nostrils, it sent images that I have never seen before into my mind.

A long pale blue creature before me with eyes so dark that they hypnotised me. Its mane was pure white with shards of ice in it; it's body though scaly and covered in layers of ice was unexpectably warm. A single tear drop leaked out from the corner of its eyes, it crystalises immediately upon contact with the cold air. And then, light enveloped the creature.

Darkness. That's what I saw next. 

I heard people talking in the background; someone was shouting too. But it was all muffled noises. Slowly, I slipped into silence. 

A soft melodious tune played in the background. And once again, pictures started to flash. The first one is of a female; her features are blurred. She was moving away from something, maybe someone. Then the scene changes into one of a forest; dark and shady. A figure moved forward, steadily and smoothly. The plants seemed to make way for this man, they created a path clear of obstructions for him to walk on. He came forward, towards me.

He reached his hands out to mine. A tattoo, long and dark concealed by the sleeves of his oversized coat. I couldn't see his face features because of the hood he is wearing, except his bright steel blue eyes. He handed me a simple white pearl anklet. 

"I'll be waiting for you, milady..."

And with that, he disappeared, leaving behind a trail of white dust and a couple of distinctive light purple petals. Deadly nightshade flowers. I quickly took a step back away from the flora. My mind can only register one thing, that man is danger.

And once again, darkness enveloped me.

I felt something warm landed on my forehead, I groggily opened my eyes. It was bright, too bright. The place was litted up by candles lining each and every side of the house. It took me a while to adjust to the bright surroundings. I stared at the ceiling of this unfamiliar place; lost.

Hello friends! I am back with another chapter today! Well, the next one is going to be up tomorrow or by next wednesday. Do anticipate for it! Well, holiday has begun yo! But I still have to head back to school for sports and stuffs. I am going to have a course next week on Monday and Tuesday; some engineering course in a school that seemed fun. :) I hope I will enjoy it though. Probably gonna get some more inspiration for this story and all.

Anyways, how have your holidays been so far to those who are having your vacations? To those who are still schooling, well how are you guys in school?
