The warning horns of the palace sounded, and unlike the bright expression Jaesun had plastered proudly on his face, Yoon paled. *I need to leave now* She mused. She needed to get away but the boy’s hand gripped her shoulder, “Wait, don’t go in there.” He said, his voice stern with warning.   “But I need to go in there.” She resisted, trying to pull away.   “If you want to die, then you should go in there.”   Yoon flung him an incredulous look, “Pardon?”   Jaesun shrugged, looking nonchalant. “It’s dangerous in there. My people are already probably in there, readying to kill those royal bastards.”   Yoon swallowed hard, hoping that his words were false. “W-What?” She blurted, turning around so she could examine his brown, almond eyes for clues. Despite him looking innocent, there was something off about him. For someone so young, it seemed as if he had experienced things atypical for one his age. His eyes were too hard, and he emitted a vibe of lethal intellect.   “You heard right. We’re here to kill the Royal Family.” He admitted casually. “They need to pay the price of what they did.” He said grimly. His eyes darkened and a growl hung at his lips, “This is to avenge someone who was special.” He said, almost in a whisper. Yoon had to strain her ears, to even pick out his words.   Explosions soon elicited within the castle, and Jaesun pulled Yoon into his arms, “We need to get out of here before it’s too late.” He wrapped his fingers around her elbow, and began to drag her away but Yoon pulled back with some force, “No, I can’t! My family!” She barked but the boy refused to listen. He cast her a dark look over his shoulder, “Don’t worry. My people do not intend to kill anyone but the Royal family.”   *But I am part of the Royal Family. My father and mother are the King and Queen!* She wanted to scream, but another explosion bursted, rattling the structure of the castle. She could feel a wave of heat pass through her and Jaesun quickened his pace in the shadows. “We must hurry, the mission is almost over.”   “I CAN’T GO! LEAVE ME ALONE!” Yoon screamed at the top of her lungs. She could feel her wolf fighting her to take over, but she had to retrain her inner beast. She needed to deal with this boy quickly or else her wolf would go balistic. Her wolf was strong for someone her age, but it only showed evidence of its existence if fear and anger overwhelmed her being.   When he stopped, his eyes didn’t focus on her. Instead it was aimed at the grand castle. Yoon looked up and noticed a masked figure at the top, near the horns. The black attired figure was signalling something and then she heard Jaseun curse. “We really need to leave now. Something out of plan is happening in there.” He said impatiently and dragged Yoon away.   Yoon tried to link her sister and parents, but no one replied. Their communication lines were down. Right then, she knew that the intruders had reached them. Only a deadly silence met her ears. By the time she was done trying to communicate to her family, she found herself being hoisted into a dim, massive truck. Many others piled in and she realised she had been in a trance too long. Jaseun pulled her to the corner of the truck and pulled her down next to him, “Stay quiet until I say so.” He advised, scanning the inside of the truck
