when you fall in love you fall in loveMyungsoo thinks he’s dreaming because he doesn’t expect Sungyeol to break up with Sungjong. Is this real?
“I saw it with my own eyes! I tell you Sungyeol practically screamed at him and Sungjong wasn’t even surprised.”
Now, that’s something he has expected. Sungjong loves Jiae, why would he care to react properly at the love of Myungsoo’s life breaking up with him?
‘Wait, what?’
“Ryeong?” he asks dumbfounded.
His friend looks at him expectantly.
“Is Sungyeol the one?” Saying it is more terrifying than thinking about what his feelings mean.
Haeryeong widens her eyes and abruptly stands up. “Soosoo..”
His bones get crushed by a (too) tight hug.
“Finally..” she breathes and smiles widely when she lets him go a few seconds later.
“Na Haeryeong!”
“Need to go, he’s jealous.” She points at Howon. “But,” she pinches his left cheek, “I’m happy for you. Make him yours!” And that’s it. She runs up to her boyfriend and kisses him.
‘I want that, too..’ he pouts.
He doesn’t avoid Sungyeol, it’s more the other way around and he thinks it’s stupid. If this is how Sungyeol has felt when Myungsoo couldn’t face him then he has been stupid himself. It’s so childish that he just wants to laugh at that.
“L-sshi, this is another new model. Her name’s Kim Jiyeon but she’s more known as Kei.”
The girl bows and smiles at him.
“Take good care of her.” the CEO winks at him and he doesn’t know why.
“My name is-”
“Kim Myungsoo.” she ends his sentence and he’s a bit surprised. “He told me everything there is to know about you, including everything about you being single and just breaking up with Jiae unnie.”
Okay, he’s more than just a bit surprised. “Okay?”
“Oh, I’m sorry…” she chuckles. “I think he wants us to date but I’m not interested.”
“Okay?” He’s so confused. “I’m not interested either.” he says and the model isn’t surprised.
“Good.”
“Yeah.”
They stay there in front of each other and stare and stare and it’s so awkward he’s happy Haeryeong comes up next.
“Hey! Why couldn’t you wait for me?” she pouts.
“There are people waiting for the photographer, so I can’t wait for a lazy named Na Haeryeong.” He chuckles at her making a face.
“I hate you.”
“I know.”
And then it’s silent again. Jiyeon looks curious at his friend and then it hits him that he hasn’t introduced them. “Uhm, this is Na Haeryeong and Ryeong, this is Kim Jiyeon or Kei, a new model.”
“Nice to meet’ya.”
Jiyeon only nods and smiles.
“So, what to do now? I thought there’s a photo shoot to in the next few minutes with Su-”
“!” he curses. He has forgotten that he or more like they are supposed to be on the rooftop right now. “C’mon, we need to hurry!” He takes both their hands and runs to the elevator and presses some buttons he thinks are the right ones. “How could I forget?” he whines and ruffles his hair in frustration. If he gets fired it won’t be good for his parents. They need him, he can’t risk this.
“Yah, calm down. We aren’t that late and you know we still have to get ready.”
He’s glad he has Haeryeong.
“But,” she bends down to whisper into his ear, “stop now because she’s eyeing us the whole time and it’s almost as creepy as your stares.”
He wants to slap her but he holds himself back. If she wouldn’t be his friend he’d hate her.
Gaping, he almost drops his dear camera.
“Hey.”
It’s still so freaking awkward and he can’t stop staring and gaping and trying to comprehend the perfection called Lee Sungyeol.
“How.. have you been?”
Why is he asking? It has been just a day they haven’t talked to each other. He shouldn’t be there, he shouldn’t talk to him. How is he supposed to fall out of love now?
“Are you okay? You look pale.” A big, cold hand touches his cheek and he flinches. “I’m s-sorry.”
“Sungyeol, L, hurry up!”
Myungsoo looks to the love of his life and then to the director. “We.
