Onew woke up in the middle of the night. He opened his eyes and made sure that everything that happened was not just his dream about her. He stared at his side. Yaeri was sleeping soundly and in between them was Jinri. He smiled. It was real. Everything is finally real. He slowly stood up and went to his study room and scanned some more papers to be signed and drafts to be presented to company partners. He always has been waking up this early for this stuff. He doesn’t even feel that he is sleeping anymore but now, he is satisfied. He can now wake up with enthusiasm because he has a reason to.

He went back after some hours and slides himself to the side. He gave them both a kiss on the forehead and whispered to Yaeri’s ear

“I’m glad you are here”

And continued sleeping again

Yaeri was busy scanning his kitchen. At least his ingredients are enough to make breakfast. She started to cook and wash the dishes. Jinri was sitting on the couch and watching television. Onew was still asleep.

“Jinri-ah, can you wake up daddy for me?”

“Ne!”

The kid rushed back into the room. She jumped into the bed up and down until Onew woke up.

“Appa! Wake up~~ wake up~~”

Onew opened his eyes and smiled while still half asleep

“Come here”

He said while offering his arms wide open. Jinri jumped to him and laughed

“Appa, you need to wake up”

“Only if you give daddy a kiss” and the sweet girl did

“Get up!”

“Where is mommy?”

“There” she pointed outside

“Fine, daddy will get up” 

Onew saw Yaeri busy on the kitchen, preparing for their meal. It was a new sight to see. She was moving like she knows every part of it. Like where the spoons are, or the casseroles. It made him smile. He went closer without her noticing and he hugged her from the back.

“You scared me!”

“What are you cooking?” he said as he sleepily ask her

“I’m cooking breakfast. Now go and sit there with your daughter”

“Don’t want to”

“You will be late for work and I will be too”

“Just stay here”

“We need to go to work and Jinri needs to go to school”

“No, seriously stay here”

“What?”

“Move here with me?”

“What?!”

“Don’t shout. Move here, live here with me?”

“Let me--- but we have--- we just moved to our new house”

“It’s either you move here or I move with you. I can’t even think straight knowing that you can be with me and I am letting that slip away again”

“Jinki...”

“Think about it okay?”

“Yes.”

“Let’s eat breakfast first then” he pecked on her cheek and went to his chair.

They dropped Jinri to school. Good thing the girl is sociable and friendly enough not to need her parents around. Yaeri considered getting a nanny but some say the kid might consider their nanny as their parent more than her real parents so she is thinking twice but she might consider with terms and conditions.
