“Are you sure you don’t want to eat dinner here?” Yaeri said as she was carrying Jinri

Earlier that day,  he received a call coming from the office telling him to attend an urgent meeting because the Chinese investors had a visit and they want to talk to him for the final drafts of their buildings. It is a big business partnership that he can’t ditch.

“I really want to and I know you’ll gonna miss me but they need me in the office”

“Appa!” she was reaching for him. Onew carried her in his arms

“What is it?” his daughter hugged him tight

“you will come on my birthday right?”

“Of course princess, daddy will be there”

“promise?”

“Promise” they both smiled at each other. And the two curves in their eyes formed again.  Such a beautiful sight. Jinri went back to her mommy’s arms and Onew was waving his hands but then, Jinri shouted

“Appa!”

“Yes?”

“Popo” Onew came running back. He stood in front of her and she kissed her father. Then Onew pouted in front of Yaeri wanting for a goodbye kiss

“What are you doing?”

“Poppo~” he said teasing her but then Yaeri was still having awkward situations

“Bye”

“Bye appa!”

“Bye~~” he then kissed her temple instead

Jinri was sleeping soundly in her room after their dinner. On the other hand, Yaeri went to bed and for minutes, she stared at the ceiling. Is this what she wanted? She keeps on asking herself.  Why did she give him another chance? Is it really because of Jinri or she really wanted to start something romantic with him again. She wanted to let go, to stop him from having physical contacts but then her body responded to all of it. She missed it. She missed him and how he fervently kisses her. How his skin feels warm every time he touches her. But she felt a little awkward on the situations. She wanted to take this one step at a time.

After everything, it was not that easy.

Her phone suddenly rang on her trance. It was Onew

“Hey” he said on the other line

“Hi. Why did you call?”

“Just wanted to know if you’re asleep”

“I cant sleep”

“Why?”

“I’m thinking”

“About today”

“yeah”

“If it bothers you then don’t”

“It does. It makes me feel weird”
