All he could think of was her smile. How happy they were before he messed up. She was shining, tough and beautiful. Whenever he thinks about her, he always forgets the stress he had at work. He was like this for about five years now. Impossible but yes, he survived that way...The memory of her still has the ability to make him feel guilty and hurt. There is so much regret, anger to his own self and wishing he didn’t have to be such a jerk. If only he had to do it all over again from the day he had met Shin Yaeri.

But for some time now, he hadn’t thought about her. It’s not because he had completely erased her from his heart but he forced himself to stop hoping that one day, she’ll return

“Jinki, I’m pregnant”

It still echoes in his head.  She was his whole world. She was the only woman who he gave his heart to but he was the one to ruin everything. How is she now? How about our baby? He keeps on wondering.

He tried to get to her with all the ways he can possibly think but everyone was angry at him especially her mother and even his own parents. He doesn’t even know if she keeps in contact with Jiyeon or her brother but even so, he knows, they will never tell him.

There is still this photo of them together in his phone. Some may think he needs to give up and move on and probably Yaeri had found someone else better. But he still has that hope that even though he tries to shoo it off, he still feels the same. Staring at the photo reminded him of how he had badly hurt her.

She just disappeared and everything about him just collapsed.

“Does she belong to someone else now?” he thought.

His phone rang and he answered it

“Yes?”

“Let’s have a drink Onew”

“I’m busy Jiyeon”

“But my husband and I are celebrating our anniversary with all of our friends. Come or I wont really forgive you this time”

“Fine I’ll go” he gave up
