Long Time No See
Clarity: SEQUEL [Unconditionally]They sat facing each other but she just stared at her food and not even minding having a quick glance at him. Although he wanted to look at her face, this was enough for him. Having her near him, eating the same meal that she cooked, In a way, it was like before. It was like how they were before...
“Do you want me to send you home?”
“Why didn’t you just send me last night?”
“Well, I did but then you were alone and I need to finish some drafts for Mrs. Choi here so I think it was for the best”
“Why cant you just leave me there? I am sure I can manage”
“Well—“
“What?” there was anger in her eyes. He was so sure of it
“I just cant afford leaving you again...” he confessed “even on this simple things. I just cant”
“Well I wished you have realized that before” she fought back
She stood up and gathered her plate asked him where her clothes are but he insisted to wait for it. That she can use his clothes instead and they can just buy one later
“Really? Me with your boxers?”
“What’s wrong with that? You use to wearing them before”
“Well that’s the thing, that was before and that “Before” can never be a ‘now’”
“Fine. I’ll just send you then. Drive you on your way home and that’s it”
“Fine”
She gathered her things as and he just changes his clothes. He went downstairs, using the private elevator going straight to the garage. He clicked on his keys and he opened the door for her
“You can just drop me anywhere near then” she proposed as he drifted off
“Seriously? With those clothes. Never!” he was focused on the e road
“What is wrong with you?” she argued again “You don’t need to do this and that for me Onew. You don’t have any obligation to me. You had your chance five years ago and you blew it”
Anger arose in both of them and he suddenly drifted on the sidewalk as she gripped on her seatbelt
“You jerk! Cant you drive safely”
“First, I don’t know what you are angry about all morning. I am trying my best here Yaeri damn it! I know I scarred you so much and hurt you. I seriously want to fix that, but you are not giving me any chance. And second, I don’t want to drop you off anywhere near your place. I don’t want others to see you like that! I don’t want them disrespecting you because you’re wearing a man’s clothes”
“Why cant you just go away?”
