“thank u for coming”

People were crowding inside the funeral place. All sorts of people were murmuring their condolence to mr ahn and niel.  

“master, shall we proceed?” a voice asked as mr ahn turned toward where his son was. Niel was standing still, pinning against the wall with teary eyes as concerned and worriedness clearly filling on his expressions

Mr ahn sighed in depressed. His wife passed away this morning and not long after that, his son told him that his another son passed out due of exhaustion.

“how can I proceed when byunghun’s not regain his conscious yet?”

“can we wait a little bit longer? My another son is still out”

“I’m sorry master, but we wait too long already”

“but this is important for byunghun. he is our son too”

“forgive me for saying this master but we really need to proceed with this funeral”

Warm sunlight fell upon byunghun’s prone form, slowly bringing byunghun back to the waking world. Lying upon the bed, byunghun slowly opened his eyes and felt a surge panic when he couldn’t identify what the time is currently. he blinked his eyes slowly as he tried to turned his head. It was then that he felt an unidentifiable weight across his chest as he looked down.

It was niel. The boy was half sitting, half lying on the edge of the bed, on top of blanket that had been covered on byunghun. blinking confusedly, byunghun could do a little more than notice how peaceful niel looked when he was asleep. Then he noticed their fingers entangled in each other and before he could knew, he was groaning when a throbbing pain began pounding in his head.

“byung?” niel awake by the sound byunghun made and peering worriedly toward the latter. The intense concern in niel’s eyes was undeniable and all byunghun could feel it emanating from niel. Concerned to the boy, niel immediately straightened up from his impromptu sleep beside byunghun and gently touched byunghun’s forehead.

“oh God u still hot” byunghun dark eyes meet up with niel and he just blinked. Being completely confused how to react on extremely concerned niel. Moreover, his mouth felt dry and his body felt weak and drained. he then felt the pain attack him once again at the same spot. He winced, raising his hand to his face and pressed it on his forehead

“what’s the matter byung? where do u feel hurt?”

“AHHHHHHH!!!” byunghun screamed out. Niel was hit by his defences. “byung???” niel asked in panicked. “i-I’m sorry…mother I’m so-rry…”
