I stared blankly at the wall of the infirmary located within Exo’s headquarters. The smell of disinfectant in the air making me more nauseous by the second. I couldn’t help but wonder where Sehun had gone after he left me here to be treated. A thousand thoughts were running in my head each passing minute. Surely, he could turn on me just as quickly as he did when he betrayed Taeyeon.

“Jinae,” I slowly turned to look at the door expecting to see Sehun but to my surprise I was met with a haggard looking Baekhyun.

“He doesn’t have the capability to love anyone but himself Jin,” Baekhyun pleaded as he dragged a chair beside my bed and plopped down in it “Even if he does love you back you’re a weakness,”

“And Taeyeon wasn’t,” I hissed making him shoot me a glare.

“Listen, I am not excusing what she did to you,” he growled and leaned forward in his chair.

“Then what are you doing?!” I yelled exasperatedly.

“She was ill Jinae and you’re right she was just as much of a weakness as you but here’s the kicker which you don’t seem to understand, you will be the reason he dies,” Baekhyun’s voice grew dark and serious “You do nothing but get in the way and have no knowledge on how to protect yourself. You don’t think! Not everything is as black and white as it seems!”
