"Aren't you going to answer that? It might be someone important. It will keep ringing if you don't answer" Krystal says, Victoria didn't know what to do, she wasn't expecting the call so early 

 

"I don't know what to do. Krystal-ah, it's Nichkhun who's calling. What do I say? Do i say sorry or what? Aish, this is frustrating" Victoria says, sighing, Krystal could only chuckle

 

"What are you worrying about anyways? He might be calling to check up on you. Just answer it" Krystal says, Victoria finally made up her mind and answered the call 

 

[On The Phone]

 

"Yeobosaeyo? Nichkhun-ssi?" Victoria says, controlling her voice 

 

"Are you feeling better?" Nichkhun says, a bit worried 

 

"Yeah, I'm fine. At least I'm feeling much better than this morning. Anyways, what's with the call?" Victoria says 

 

"I just wanted to make sure you're feeling better. I guess you had a major hangover this morning, huh?" Nichkhun says 

 

"Uh, yeah. Krystal said you were the one who dropped me home. Thank you" Victoria says, Nichkhun chuckles 

 

"No need to thank me. But you're welcome. Mianhaeyo Victoria-ssi, I have to go. Work awaits me. I'll call you again when I have time. Take care of yourself" Nichkhun says 

 

"Ne, thank you again." Victoria says, before hanging up. While they were on the phone, Krystal was listening intently 

 

"See, was that bad? It seemed like a normal conversation. What's wrong with you anyways?" Krystal says 

 

"I feel embarrassed, I guess. With what happened at party, I don't know how to approach him now. I feel like if I saw him, those moments will replay in my mind" Victoria explains 

 

"I'm sure he understands that you were drunk. Maybe he was a little tipsy too, don't feel bad. It's past already. They say, past is past. Forget about it" Krystal says

 

"You're right, past is past. I should forget about it. I'm sure he will too. Seriously, I'm overreacting. This is so frustrating" Victoria says 

 

Victoria and Krystal continued to chat up about something else rather than talking about it the whole time. It was a nice change 

 

Although they were talking about something else, Victoria couldn't help but just think about what happened, it's still clear in her mind and it's bugging her

"I could've sworn I've seen her. Maybe I'm seeing things. This is seriously driving insane" Nichkhun thinks to himself 

 

He just got back from the meeting and right when he left the cafe, Nichkhun could've sworn that he saw a glimpse of Victoria

 

Nichkhun tried to distract himself to not think about it, but with everything he does, it brings him back to that thought. 

 

When they were taking on the phone, Nichkhun had that excited feeling while he was talking to Victoria, it felt great talking to her. It was like it was destined. 

 

Ever since last night, Victoria was in his mind. It was crazy how a single move can drive him crazy. The kisses were like still there in his lips, it's like they never left him 

 

Nichkhun suddenly touched his lips and smiled. He suddenly started to remember last night at the party, he never though that Victoria had that side to her 

 

Nichkhun thought that Victoria was different from the other girls. It was like something about her makes her unique. It attracted Nichkhun to know more about her. To get to know her. 

 

Again, the thought of 'love at first sight' came to Nichkhun's mind, could it possibly be it? Love at first sight? 

 

The very first time Nichkhun saw Victoria, he thought she was very beautiful, so alluring. Come to think of it, Victoria immediately caught Nichkhun's eyes. 

 

It's like a case that's waiting to be cracked.

Frankly, I don't know when will be my next update. So please bear with these really slow updates. I tried to make it up with this chapter, but I found this chapter a bit boring.
