Walking around the cherry blossom tree to shorten the distance with the man... Zhang Yi Xing soon realized it was Oh Sehun with his eyes closed, so he turned around to walk away... but came to a sudden halt when he remembered what Baekhyun had mentioned about his childhood... 

his parents were gone when he was only 8...
the spring breezes can easily cause someone to catch a cold, noticing Oh Sehun only wore a thin dress shirt, Zhang Yi Xing took a small sigh and once again walked towards him... kneeled beside him and lightly placed his own blue sweater on his shoulders... suddenly opening his eyes, Oh Sehun took Zhang Yi Xing at surprise, "Ah!" and the next moment, Zhang Yi Xing fell to his on the grass. 

Oh Sehun unemotionally looked at Zhang Yi Xing's clumsy posture and slightly moved his eyebrows. 

"I...I...I... I was worried that you might've fallen asleep," even Zhang Yi Xing himself didn't understand why he was suddenly stuttering. By the end of his statement, his words came out to be a murmur. "So... I was hoping you would go back to you bedroom earlier... " 

Oh Sehun didn't reply, instead he looked up, into the night, there were so few stars... maybe it might rain soon...
Zhang Yi Xing looks up into the same direction as Oh Sehun, "Back in my hometown, many more stars were visible at night and when we sat on the hill top at night, it's as if I could touch the stars when I reach out my hand." 
"You like to look at stars too? Do you sit here every night? Honestly, I think the city lifestyle is a bit boring too..." 
"You are so loud," These were the first words Oh Sehun said to Zhang Yi Xing, although they were merely 3 words, they were already powerful enough to sink his heart...

[I was only worried that he might be lonely, and this is what he wants to reply to me?!] Zhang Yi Xing stood up and cleaned off the grass, then quickly walked away... after a few steps, he decided to turn around, took off his own light blue sweater, and placed it on Oh Sehun
"Um... I was... just a bit worried that you might catch a cold... then everyone will have to care for you. It would be too troublesome." Zhang Yi Xing turned back around and jogged away, while Oh Sehun looked down at the sweater that was still warm from its previous owner... with a complicated expression, he took a tight grip on the dangling sleeve...

Today Baekhyun had something to do afterschool, so Zhang Yi Xing had no choice but to walk home alone. 
Wearing his white earphones, Zhang Yi Xing leaf school with his brown backpack. Almost all of Morning High's students have their personal drivers, so there was rarely anyone walking on the streets.

Zhang Yi Xing suddenly felt a bit homesick... missing the happy memories of walking home with friends. While he was distracted from his thoughts about his happy memories, yelling and screaming from a small dead end path nearby caught his attention. 

Zhang Yi Xing cautiously took a look at the scene... there were a few students in Morning High uniforms surrounding a hidden boy. Before Zhang Yi Xing could pull out his phone to call the police, the boy yelled painfully. 

[There's not enough time to wait for the police...] Zhang Yi Xing gathered up all his courage and walked bravely into the narrow path, "All of you, stop right there!" 

The group of boys came to a sudden halt and turned around to observe Zhang Yi Xing. Their surprised face now became a mocking expression.

"If you don't want to die, then get out of here right now." The leader of the group said. He had a noticeable scar on the right side of his face.  

Zhang Yi Xing worriedly backed up a few steps but continued to reply in a calm tone, "I... I already called the police, they're going to be here soon. If you don't want to get caught... hurry... hurry up and leave." Although his tone was calm, his stuttering already revealed how scared he actually was. 

"Hehe, little kid, where did you come from?" the man with the scar asked as he slowly approached Zhang Yi Xing, then slightly touched Zhang Yi Xing's cheeks, "You look even better up close... you have the face of someone who should bottom and get done... ah!" Before the man could finish his sentence, he suddenly let out a painful yell. "You bit me. How dare you bite me!" 

The next moment, Zhang Yi Xing was given a hard slap across the face and had fallen to the floor. The taste of blood spreaded through his taste buds and his right cheek became swollen...

"Don't hurt other people! Whatever it is, just target it at me!" The hurt boy suddenly spoke up and his voice was heard through the students who were dangerously surrounding him.

"You, shut up. I will deal with you later!" Then the scarred face man turned his attention back to the fallen Zhang Yi Xing, "I will show you what you have really put yourself into, Right Now." 

Right when he reached out his hand to touch Zhang Yi Xing, he was suddenly kicked to the wall...

"Who the is it now?!.." After realizing who the attacker was, all of his complaints and yells came to a sudden stop. "Lu... Lu Han Sunbae..." 
Zhang Yi Xing was shocked at seeing who had appeared, looking up at that person's cold expression as he watched his 'bodyguards' beat up the scarred face man. The rest of the boys quickly fled after seeing Lu Han's appearance...

"Han Au-Nan, next time you hit someone, make sure you check his background first. This time it's a few punches but next time.. you won't be so lucky." Lu Han looked down at the man in pain and warningly said. 

"I... I understand." Han Au-Nan fled the small alley as his hand painfully covered his chest.

Zhang Yi Xing was softly feeling his swollen right cheek when he saw a shadow closing in to him. Right when he was about to express his gratitude, Lu Han mockingly said, "Next time, before you consider saving someone, make sure you judge how much you are capable of first." 

The gratitude that Zhang Yi Xing had for Lu Han disappeared within split seconds [Hmph... so arrogant. If I had a bunch of bodyguards like his, I would be ten times better]

Seeing Zhang Yi Xing sit on the floor with slightly pouted lips and a puffy right cheek made Lu Han smile, "Let's see how you're going to explain to your aunt about this." Then he turned around and left...

"What kind of person is this..." The moment Zhang Yi Xing speaks, his cheeks hurt immensily.

"Are you alright?" the boy stumbled to Yi Xing and squatted down to check his cheek. "Why are you so stupid? At this kind of situation, you're not supposed to come in! What if this leaves a permanent scar on your face!"

"I'm not that weak..." Zhang Yi Xing smiled in attempt to comfort the worried boy and added "You're hurt more than me, why were they doing that to you?" 

 "They're all from rich families, so they look down on students like us who go to Morning High but are from poor families..."

"What?! How could they be doing this?" After Zhang Yi Xing heard the boy explain, he was so mad he swear he could've coughed out blood. "I am Zhang Yi Xing, what's your name? Let's be friends." 

"What?! You're... you're willing to befriend me?" 

"Yeah, I don't see any problem with it... I come from a poor family too." 

"Really? Then how do you know Luhan?" 

"Him..." Yixing looks down and continues, "In a way, I guess.. I.. work for his family."

"Oh... My...my name is Do Myungsoo... you can call me DO.." 

"DO, from now on, we're friends!" 

"Mhm," DO nodded and couldn't help but show his joy as he carried a bright smile on his face. He was his first friend at Morning High... "Yi Xing, when you get home, remember to roll the wound with an egg. It won't be as swollen."  DO looked at his cheek worriedly and reminded him.

"Okay, but what about your wounds? Won't you get in trouble by your parents?" 

" I... I live with my sister, so it's fine. I'm used to these situations already." 

Yi Xing's heart ached when he heard the words "used to." "Don't worry DO,  I will protect you from now on!"

"Worry about yourself first." Although DO replied with a light tone, but his teary eyes had already revealed how touched and thankful he actually was. Yixing was the first person, besides his sister, to promise to protect him... DO couldn't help but to make a promise to himself: 'Zhang Yi Xing, I will definitely treasure our friendship.'

Right after Zhang Yi Xing got home, he ran into the kitchen secretively and grabbed two eggs. Worried that his aunt might see him if he returned to his room, Yi Xing decided to go to the garden instead. 

[Ugh, I'm so stupid, why did I forget the mirror] Yi Xing hit his head softly for his careless mistake. [How am I supposed to know where the bruise is...]

Attempting to place the egg onto his face, Yi Xing accidentally pressed to hard on the swollen area and unawarely dropped the egg to stop the pain. Yi Xing watched as the egg rolled down the path until it was stopped by a pair of white tennis shoes... 

"Don't Move!" Yi Xing ran quickly to pick up the egg in case it would continue to roll. 

"Raise your head," a cold voice from above was heard. Happy that the egg was still in its original form, Yi Xing obediently raised his head to look at the person, but became nervous when the person stared directly into his own eyes, seeming to be waiting for an explanation. 

"Sorry.. I... I was trying to stop the egg from rolling." Yi Xing explained nervously while still squatting on the floor.

Unexpectedly, Oh Sehun kneeled on one knee to take a better look at Yi Xing's cheek and asked with a serious tone, "Who did this?"

"Huh?" Surprised that Oh Sehun would ask about his wound, Yi Xing was confused by the question for a few seconds, but quickly replied "Oh... I'm fine.. I was involved in a small incident with a bully who was trying to hurt another student..." Although Yi Xing didn't notice, Oh Sehun's slightly squinted eyes revealed his anger. Agressively grabbing the egg that was resting on Yi Xing's palm, Oh Sehun took his hand and led him to the bench beside the garden...

and in the next moment, Yi Xing felt a soft touch on his face... The Oh Sehun, that had a reputation of being cold and unwelcoming, was now treating Yi Xing's wound gently and carefully...

Sorry for the late update. I've been really busy lately with my college apps. I will update more next month, since college apps are mostly due this month.
