Hey you might think this is crazy, but mutants do exist in this world; and so as the ghosts, or spirits, or whatever you would like to call them.
But yeah, most ordinary people would never believe in this fact; Amber Liu knows this perfectly well.
And yes, she is a mutant: the human with super-power; she can see the spirits around her, and her power, well you would know if you continue to read.
At her very young age, because of her super power, she scared her family out and she was send to a special school (yea sound like x-men, but please keep reading, to Amber Liu this is her true story) to learn to control her power; she was told this was for her own good, but she would never believe it: this is just a way for her family to get rid of a freak like her-- to send her to live with other freaks. They are not to be known by the public, only the ones who are important enough to know about this; this is also why Amber thinks that she has been abandoned, or else people would hide these awesome kids away?
Amber is extrordinary out of those extrordinary kids, she does not listen and act according to those rules, she questions than comes up with her own conclusions, she is her own ruler, and that's why people call her the "bad girl".

In school, they taught the kids all about their powers, how to control them, and the ways to act towards the spirits. There are the normal spirits, just simply ignore them; or maybe some of them would be friendly enough to talk to you. But there are the evil spirits that will harm the people, and they are taught how to battle against them when they attack. Yes, you are only supposed to defense against them when they attack; that's the thing Amber does not agree on the most: if they are evil, then it's her responsibility to clear them, or else her power would be a waste. 
See, this girl is not that bad at all.

Amber was sent to this boring boarding school this summer, the school before told her that it's time for her to "fit in" to this society; but Amber knows she would never be able to fit in, or else her family would have taken her back.
Though because of her sense of humor, surprisingly she made some friends (normal, ordinary people kind of friends); and she would not admit it in person, she actually feels grateful about this.
Of course there are also some extrordinary friends she has made: like the head of her dorm, 2 years older senior Victoria, she might be the flexible dancer people think, but she is actually the "flexible woman" literally; or the amazing singer Luna in her class, who has the supersonic voice that could cause explosions; or Krystal her dorm mate, who has the ability to cause snow storm. The common thing about all of them is that they are not going to sit still, they attack before the evil spirits find them out.
Amber is now preparing her bag, they had their team named fx and they go on patrol every night without being known by anyone. 
"Amber unnie?" Her ordinary friend and dorm mate Sulli calls on her, instantly she turns back and hides her stuff.
"Yes?"
"You can use the shower now, and please teach me my maths afterwards." Sulli asks sweetly, she is the cute and friendly human (yes, that's the way Amber puts it) that even as bad as her would want to be friend with.
"Is Krystal not free to teach you?" Krystal lying lazily on the other bunk raises her hand as if to say hi, her attention though still sticks to her phone. 
"I don't want her, she is too fierce!" Sulli eyes over Krystal side and speaks loudly.
"Yah what did you say?" Krystal jumps up, and the two of them run around the room.
Looking at this sight, Amber couldn't help but thinks that actually human and mutants can live peacefully with each other, and although they don't accept mutants like her, she still wants to protect them.
That's another common thing about team fx, they are not as bad as they seem, they have their soft spot underneath their cold appearance. They love the world and wanted to be loved too.

Amber slips off the room soon after Sulli has fallen asleep, it's easy as Krystal can cover her up. It's not been long since she has been studying in this school and of course started the night patrolling thing. This time, she decides to extend her "service" from only the female dorm to the main building, where they used to study in the day time.
She walks around the female dorm carefully, today it's a nice day as she hasn't found any evil spirits; only there's a stalker spirit which she scoulds it off, and she has had a little nice conversation with a former teacher spirit. From the teacher spirit, she has learned that there are actually secret passage way for her to get from the dorm to the main buildings, she thanks the teacher and works her way towards the secret passage way.
It's an ordinary door in the basement, just a dead end and everyone thought it's where the cleaners keep their things; Amber presses her hand on the lock and it gives out light, the door opens for her.
"It's made for mutants like you, ordinry people can't open it." She recalls the teacher told her.
She walks in the passage way, it looks ancient but well maintained, she couldn't help but think if fx's members have used it or know anything about this. Somehow, she wants to keep this place as her secret.
Amber stops in front of the exit of the passage, she takes a deep breathe and slowly opening the door; she walks out and instantly finds it next to the gym, another "cleaners' locker room" as they have always expected.
The night is quiet, but she could feel something is stirring, the familiar feeling when the evil ones appear; without hesitation, she runs towards the classrooms.

Now you might ask what do those evil spirits look like: it's really hard to explain to ordinary people, as those spirits appear as the forms of your worst fears; some of them walk into your dreams and the nightmeres you have are actually how they are taking your energy away, it's their food. But for the mutants, they could see them as how they are.
And right now in front of Amber, she sees three evil spirits that look like the pirates of Carribien.
Of course those pirates notice her too, the evil spirits usually hunt for mutants, so Amber is a bit suspicious why they are not in the female dorm as there are already four of them. She holds on to her knife and sends down some electric volts to the blade.
Yes, her power is a self-electricity-generator.
Amber counts on three inside her mind and breaks in, precisely knocks down the first one who is nearest to the door using her blade. The other two, who are more aware now advance on her; she tries to dodge but a bit slow and her arm got hurt from a slice from the pirate with red headscarf ("the captain", she thinks). 
She retreats and tries to think of a trategy, she is on a bad situation on numbers, but she is not going to lose. Amber gives up her blade and pretends to be really hurt, those pirates do buy in to this trick and they advance on her.
She closes her eyes as if waiting for their slice and ready to die.
The pirates swing their swords and Amber catches them on their wrists, sending down million volts of electricity down their body, paralyzing them and eventually evaporates them.
"Goodbye my captain." She smirks and with one more blow, killing them.

Little does she know, there's someone outside has witnessed the whole thing, and has left a flask of medicine and a note at the entrance of the secret passage.
"Meet me outside music room tomorrow, the same time as you have taken care of those pirates. --H"

"Dude are you serious?" Genneo chockes on his milk ("my breakfast!!!!" he exclaims afterwards) while Henry told him just a minute ago, about he saw a mutant girl taken care of three evil spirits on her own yesterday night when he was on night patrol, and of course, he has invited her to meet up.
"Yea why not?" Henry answers casually, while doing the paper work that the teacher has given him. "She has already found out the secret passage way, and I think she is gorgeous, I want to meet up with her. He stands up and clears off his table.
Gen raises an eyebrow and blows a whistle, "So getting to know her is the main reason, playboy Henry."
Henry kicks him under the desk and walks to the teacher's desk elegantly to put down the stack of paper work.

Little do all the people know, their head boy Henry Lau is actually a mutant.
Well except his best friends, the team noize bank, which all of them are quite ordinary; except for the fact that they can all see the evil spirits and know all the things about mutants. They are the composing team, but actually, they are the ones to make "weapons" for Henry. His power does not rely on the physical strength, that's why he needs "weapons" to help him.
He has started doing this kind of "school guard" thing ever since he attended this school, he has never expected someone is doing the same thing as he does until yesterday night.
The streak of dyed blonde hair, the fast movement, the white-blue light of electricity in her palms; he could believe that she is a dangerous girl.
"Dude what are you smiling at? Like an idiot!" Henry doesn't even realize he was smiling when thinking of "her" until Gen reminds him.
"Nothing." He puts on his "head boy Henry" smile again, but his mind has already swims to thinking will the girl come tonight.

Amber has successfully convinced Victoria to let her go on to patrol tonight again, she hurrily scans through the dorm adn heads directly to the secret passage.
She is nervous, but her gut feeling told her to meet up with whoever wrote her a note and left the medicine for her yesterday night, she always believed in her gut feeling. She steps out of the tunnel and heads straight to the music room, though to her surprise, someone is playing violin.
She hesitates in front of the door, something about the music is strange but she can't help but keeps listening. The melody is sweet and relaxing, all of her anxiety on her way to the music room has been soothed away, and just wants to sit there and listens to this music; then it changes to an adagio, recalling her sad memories, how she felt being abandoned by this whole world; then the melody changes again and again, each time provoking her to another emotion: anger, anxiety, excitment, despair, and many others.
Abruptly it stops, and she feels like the old calm Amber again; she approaches the door though it swings open.
"Hi here you are, I'm Henry, Henry Lau." The head boy comes out of the music room with the violin in his left hand, he holds out his right and she shakes it in daze.
He smiles at her cuteness and says, "I have shown you my power already, I think it's time for you to introduce yourself."
"Wh-what's your power?" Amber asks in daze, the cute looking head boy who looks like the cartoon character she loves (snoopy), is actually a mutant, and the one who left her a note yesterday.
"oh have you not guessed?" He smiles and pulls her inside the music room, only then Amber realizes they are holding hands, she quickly shakes his hand off and makes him giggles. 
"Pathokinesis--the power to provoke emotions." He explains while watching her closely: her dyed blonde hair, her watery eyes, her nose, her lips; she might dress like a tom boy, but she looks cute for sure. "But I need some 'weapons' to help me, like musical instruments to help me."
"That's why!" Amber claps her hands, finally understands the reason why she has become so emotional today; and she realizes he would make a horrible enemy.
"Your turn now." He simply smiles and offers her a sit next to the piano.
"I'm Amber Liu from grade 1, I've only been attending this school for two months. And my power is--" As she comes to sit down, she notices something is tied up in the corner behind the piano. "Wait-- is that the evil spirits there?" She pointed the way.
Henry stands up and gestures her to follow, now as she has come in closer, she could see them: two skeleton looking spirits.
"H-how?"
"I simply lures them to walk into the trap I've set up for them, you know using my power." He explains plainly, while examining on the spirits who are cursing at them. Amber looks at the head boy, who looks really cute, but she starts to feel fortunate that he is not an enemy but a friend.
"Don't be afraid, I'm just like you." As if he could feel her emotion, he assures her. "But I think I should be moroe afraid now, as you have the amazing physical power." He smiles and brings those spirits forward in front of her.
"Do you mind?" He asks her and she shows how she kills the spirits just like the night before.
"Fantastic." He smiles again, he loves the look in her eyes: determined to protect something, not going to move easily.
Henry thinks he has fallen for her.

They start to do their patrol afterwards, not that Amber wants to or anything, but Henry just seem to know how to locate her. Their ways of fighting those spirits are so different: Amber is the furious attacker, and Henry just lures them into a trap and watches the spirits killing each other. Of course Amber gets hurt easily which is why Henry dislikes her way of fighting.
"You shouldn't be that rough." He talks again while healing her wound. "Sometimes it's better to stay put a while before you've got hold of the whole situation." His eyebrows tie in knots when he sees her getting hurt.
Though she is the "bad girl", she is not used to people caring for her. "Don't criticize me!" She turns her back to him. She sound very rude, but Henry helplessly thinks she is cute .
"Hey~" He tries to grab her arm and forces her to face him, only she sends the little bit of electricity volts to shock him.
"Ouch!" He pretends to be in pain, which does the trick and she turns. He smiles and before she turns away, he hugs her.
"I just don't want you to be hurt." He says sincerely, while Amber is telling herself mentally not to blush.
"It's none of your business......." She tries to run away from him, not sure why.
"You seriously don't know why I care about you so much?" Henry asks while turning her face to him, this girl is unbelievable.
"W-what?" She asks innocently, though she is half expecting something, the kind of emotion that she has never experienced.
Henry looks into her eyes, and sighs deeply.
"Nothing, let's finish off." 
"Bad girl Amber." He jokes.
"What? Head boy!" She teases back.
"Nothing~"
He is so certain he has fallen for her, though he couldn't stop.

"Hey yo dude you're serious about that tom boy?" Gen elbowed him when he goes to class one day, all these time he has stuck to Amber whenver he has the chance; the school now is flying with rumours about the head boy Henry is dating the bad girl Amber.
"She is not a tom boy, she is a girl." --and very cute, Henry added in his mind.
"Whatever, but you know what I mean don't you?"
"Yeah and I'm telling you I'm serious."
Gen whistles and says nothing, Henry puts an arm around his best friend sensing his worry.
"Hey man it's gonna be alright, you don't know her yet, she is not the bad girl as people talk about."
Gen looks at Henry, feeling his determination, he kicks him lightly and smiles; his bro knows what he is doing.
Henry smiles, thankful for having a good friend like Gen, who understands him a lot. The he thinks of Amber, the "bad girl" who longs for understanding from the others but doesn't want to change herself. She is stubborn, she is reckless, she might be rebelious; but these are all her outer coat to protect her from being hurt, the true Amber has a soft and kind heart, more beautiful than the others.
She is the girl that worths being loved.

"Amberrrrrr!!!!" Henry runs towards her after class, with all the people staring at them; embarrassed, Amber turns and runs away; though Henry is faster.
"Hi how're you doing?" He gives her the warmest smile and helps her with her heavy books, he could tell her face has gone red.
He giggles and whispers "you're cute" in her ears, which only made her face hotter.
"So looks like the head boy has tamed the bad girl." Gen watching all over this concludes himself.

"No more bad girl." Henry smiles and thinks to himself, looking at the red Amber who eats silently besides him.

Phew this one is long! But this looks interesting and I'm seriously thinking about making a chapter stories base on this topic. What do you guys think?
