"Ahhh!!!" Tiffany quickly scooted back upon seeing a face closed too hers.

"Ahhh!!" The other person screamed as well, scared by Tiffany's sudden scream. "It's just me honey."

"Dad?" Tiffany muttered as she gradually calmed down. "What are you doing here? You scared me!"

"Sorry. I didn't mean to." Tiffany's dad apologized with a sheepish smile. "But just to clarify. You scared me!"

Tiffany sighed and stood up as she wiped her tears.

"I came here looking for you. It's late and you weren't home so your mother and I were concerned. Fortunately, we called and the security guard told us that you were here. You have no idea how terrified I was when all I heard was someone crying and then to come to this room and see a hunched over woman with hair covering her face in front of me!" Her father explained himself as he shivered upon remembering how Tiffany's scary figure.

Tiffany managed to let out a chuckle. "I'm sorry dad. I didn't mean to make you and mom worry. Some things just...happened." Tiffany whispered the last sentence and sat down on a sofa before burying her face in her hands.

Mr. Hwang took a seat next to his daughter, concerned. "Honey. What's wrong?"

"..."

Mr. Hwang took a hold of Tiffany's hand, exposing her teary face to him. He was surprised to see his precious daughter crying, as shown by his immediate action of wiping her tears.

"What happened?! Why are you crying? Huh? Tell me."

"I-I miss Jessica." Tiffany muttered and looked away.

Mr. Hwang narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Jessica?" There was only one Jessica he knew...but could it be??

"Jessica Jung." Tiffany clarified herself, as if she could read her dad's mind. "Yes daddy. Prosecutor Jung."

"That's unexpected."

"..."

Mr. Hwang sighed and smiled warmly at his daughter. "Tiffany. Tell me what happened. I'm here for you."

Tiffany meekly nodded her head.

After 20 minutes....

Mr. Hwang remained silent for a while before speaking. "Tiffany. Your actions doesn't seem like you at all."

"..."

"You are usually rational and don't jump to conclusions. Jessica has definitely proven herself to you and you obviously feel the same way. So what is preventing you from trusting her?"

"..."

"Does this perhaps...have to do with your past relationships? And us?"

Tiffany looked away once again once she heard that question.

Bingo!

Mr. Hwang nodded his head in understanding. "I understand now. You mother and I are deeply sorry Tiffany. We may have realized our mistake a little late but we made sure to be there for you now. " He leaned over to hug Tiffany. "Tiffany. You need to tell this to Jessica. Don't let this fear ruin something that is special and precious to the both of you. Jessica is willing to accept everything that you are, regardless of your past. She's a smart woman. Don't disappoint her." Mr. Hwang said with a smile.

"And don't let yourself down. Don't have regrets."

Tiffany smiled back and hugged her dad. "Thank you dad."

"You are welcome. But don't tell your mom about our conversation. She will start acting all gushy and all. if you do, I will destroy all that is pink in your life." He playfully threatened.

Tiffany laughed at her dad's playfulness. "I'm sure mom would know even if I don't say anything."

"That's true." He replied with a small smile.

*ring ring*

Tiffany looked at her phone. It was an unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Tiffany!"

Tiffany's eyes widened in surprise. "Krystal?"

"Come to the Seoul Regional Hospital quickly! Jessica-unnie is here!"

Tiffany quickly hung up the phone and gathered her things, causing her father to be anxious.

"What's wrong honey?"

"Jessica's in the hospital."

-------------------------------------------

Tiffany and Seohyun couldn't help but pace around the halls of the hospital as the screams in the room next to them seemed to last forever.

"Damn it! Are they trying to kill Yoona?!" Seohyun bursted as she tried to peek inside the room, only to see a group of nurses surrounding two beds.

Tiffany shared the same thoughts as Seohyun. Jessica and Yoona seemed to be in alot of pain.

"Serves them right for going back to look for more reasons to hurt themselves again." Krystal nonchalantly mumbled as she sat next to Tiffany, but was resting her head on Amber's shoulder.

"How can you say that?" Tiffany asked, bewildered. "Aren't you worried?"

Krystal sighed and sat up again before looking at Tiffany and Seohyun. "Don't misunderstand. I'm worried but those two idiots in there know better than to be involved in fight that caused their current suffering." Krystal explained as she used her thumb to point at the room behind her. "This is a valuable lesson for them."

Tiffany and Seohyun couldn't believe it. Krystal is one of those 'tough love' people...how does Amber tolerate such a woman?

"Don't mind her. Krystal went berserk when she found out what happened as well. She almost beat up the doctor." Amber stated with chuckle, earning a glare from Krystal and astounded looks from Tiffany and Seohyun.

"You are one lucky person Amber." Seohyun commented. "I guess you like 'rough lovin'."

"I see how it is." Tiffany added with a smirk.

Amber and Krystal froze in their spots, as they felt themselves getting hotter by the second...so embarassing!

Prosecutor Park, who was standing nearby, merely nodded his head. "Those two should know better than to be engaged in street fights considering they are prosecutors. They should know better. But then, that's what confuses me."

"What do you mean?" Amber asked.

Prosecutor Park smiled at them. "What I mean, is that there must be a reason why they're acting irrational and impulsive. It's not like them."

Tiffany and Seohyun hung their head in shame.

"But don't worry." Prosecutor Park assured as he knew that Tiffany and Seohyun was like to be feeling guilty. " Deep down they're complete softies." He chuckled, causing Tiffany and Seohyun to return a smile.

"Thank you."

"No need."

"Who is the guardian?" the doctor exited the room to ask the group.

"She's Prosecutor Jung's guardian." Krystal blurted out and pointed to Tiffany.

"And she is Prosecutor Im's." Prosecutor Park pointed to Seohyun. Both Tiffany and Seohyun were surprised at the sudden introductions.

The doctor nodded his head in understanding. "We will be moving them to different rooms. I suggest that the guardians spend the night with the patients to assist them."

"Alright."

Just then, the nurses came out with Yoona and Jessica laying down on stretchers. Both of their complaints were soon cut off when they saw Tiffany and Seohyun's faces.

Yoona's face darkened, as well as Jessica.

"What are you doing here?" Yoona coldly asked Seohyun. "Actually, I don't care."

Jessica merely ignored Tiffany. "Nurse. Let's go. I can really use some rest now."

As soon as the nurses left with Yoona and Jessica, Tiffany and Seohyun began to follow.

"Don't worry Tiffany and Seohyun. Hwaiting!" Amber encouraged with a smile.

"It'll be tough but there's still hope. My sister is a er for you." Krystal encouraged as well with a pat to Tiffany's shoulder. "And Yoona is the same for you Seohyun-unnie."

"Thanks."

"Good luck girls. Have a good night. " Prosecutor Park bid and left with KryBer.

Looks like this will be a long night for Tiffany and Seohyun.

----------------------------------------

"The patient should not be moving around or else the stitches will be torn again. If she does need to move, help her and do it gently." The nurses instructed Tiffany. Tiffany nodded her head and mentally took notes. "Also-"

Jessica couldn't help but look at Tiffany and wonder why she's here.

"Why is she here when she insisted on not seeing each other again?Trying to give me hopes again? or hurt me more?" These thoughts ran through Jessica's mind. She was so focused on her thoughts that she didn't realize the nurses were already gone.

It wasn't until Jessica felt a cold touch to her forearm that she saw realized she was alone with Tiffany.

"Jessica. Are you alright?"

Jessica quickly looked away from Tiffany, and at the same time removing her forearms from Tiffany's hold. "I'm fine. Just leave me alone."

Tiffany was hurt by Jessica's actions but she didn't complain. It was her fault anyways...

"I have to help you change." Tiffany meekly stated, as she stared at Jessica's bloody attire.

"Not without my permission." Jessica retorted. "Call in the nurse. Or better, Krystal."

"Krystal left and the nurse was the one who told me to help you. Didn't you hear her?"

Jessica refused to look at Tiffany, not wanting to comply. It wasn't until she felt a tugging at her shirt that she realized Tiffany was not going to take off her clothes.

"Yah! Are you crazy?!!" Jessica exclaimed out of shock and anger as she moved, only to moan out in pain as she held on to her bandaged wound. "Ahhhh!!!!!"

Tiffany quickly went to Jessica's side only to be pushed back.

"I DON'T NEED YOU!!! GET OUT!!!" Jessica yelled as she maintained her breath and pain. She then glared at Tiffany, who couldn't even look at her. "Do you hear me?! Leave!" Jessica's outburst caused Tiffany to take some steps back, with her heads looking down at the cold floor.

Jessica then began to take off her shirt, only to see a hand placed on top of hers. Jessica's eyes followed the hand up to the arms and then to the face of the owner. Jessica felt anger coursing through her body again.

"Are you deaf?!"

"..."

"I told you to-" Jessica stopped mid-sentence when she felt a droplet of water on her hand. And then another...and then another...

"I-I'm so sorry Jessica." Tiffany stuttered to say as more tears were released from her eyes.

Jessica scoffed. "I heard that phrase too many times from you Tiffany." she sarcastically retorted. "I'm tired of it."

"I-I know that you probably don't-don't want to see me or want to forgive me after what I've done. I'm such a hypocrite. A-a liar. Someone who only hurts you. I- I regret what I said to you."

Jessica sighed. "Tiffany. Stop this alright? I get it. You were probably just confused about your feelings."

"No!" Tiffany bursted and finally looked at Jessica, allowing the latter to see her reddened eyes and tear-stricken face. "I'm not! Things-thing just went out of control. I-I was just scared that I would be abandoned again."

"What?" Jessica whispered in response to Tiffany's confession.

"Growing up as the daughter of a Hwang isn't rainbows and flowers." Tiffany inhaled a shaky breath. "Ever since I could remember, my parents-" Tiffany paused before continuing. "-my parents never spent time with me. Even though I had my older brother and older sister, I always yearned for my parents' attention and warmth. They chose their work over any occasion with their child." Tiffany sadly confessed to the suprised Jessica.

"Fortunately, I had my siblings to help me deal with the loneliness and emptiness. Or else, I don't know what would've happened. My parents-" Tiffany held back tears that were threatening to fall as she recalled the painful past with her parents. "-my parents would make promises to me and then break them. I may have been a child but to me, promises were very important, especially when my parents were barely there. I was so envious of my friends and classmates."

Jessica reached over and grabbed a kleenex for Tiffany as the brunette continued to tell her story. "It wasn't until I was 14 years old that I finally confessed all my problems and grudges to them after a fight we had. They felt guilty and regretful but I wasn't mad at them. I was only disappointed. Fortunately, afterwards, both of my parents made sure to always be there for me and be part of my life. I was grateful and happy that finally, my family was complete. I couldn't be any more happier."

"Unfortunately, I realized that I am unlucky with love. All my past-lovers had used me or cheated on me. I didn't know how cruel life can get. I was able to finally recieve the family love that I've been yearnig for only to be devoid of having true love from another person."

Jessica felt sorry for Tiffany and found herself falling for Tiffany more. All the angers she felt toward Tiffany was gone. She sees it now...the whole picture....

"And then you came along, and broke through all barracles and walls I built." Tiffany then let out a bitter chuckle. "And I-I was a fool for thinking that I can lie to myself. Lie that I don't care for you. Lie that I don't need you. Lie that I don't love you when the truth is, I love you Jessica. I love you so much." Tiffany was sobbing now into her hands. "I'm so sorry. This was a mistake. I-I will leave now."

But just as Tiffan stood up, Jessica held on to her wrist and pulled her back down to sit on the hospital bed.

"You said what you had to say, now listen to me." Jessica instructed as she slowly and gently sat up, not wanting to aggravate her wound. Tiffany nodded her head but didn't dare to look at Jessica.

Jessica rested her fingers under Tiffany's chin and turned it slightly so that Tiffany was now looking at Jessica. "Tiffany. I'm sorry."

Tiffany was taken aback my Jessica's apology. She shouldn't be apologizing. It's all her fault, not Jessica's. "Jessica. It's not your fault."

Jessica shook her head and took a hold of Tiffany's hand, causing a new sense of warmth to be felt by Tiffany.

"It is. I left you when it's clear how much you hate being left alone."

"No. It's not. I didn't tell you about my parents and I."

"It doesn't matter. I should have known from your horrible experiences for your past relationships that you hate being left out in the dark, not aware of anything that is happening when you deserve to know. When I didn't tell you, I did it with the best intentions." Jessica sighed before resting her head against the wall, looking at the ceiling now.

"I'll tell you everything that I wasn't able to say to you today. I know that Prosecutor Park probably told you everything but I want to tell you too. Because you deserve an explanation." Jessica took a deep breath before looking at Tiffany. "Tiffany, the operation was very dangerous. My chances of living was very slim. You have no idea how much I wanted to tell you about me leaving. But then I realized that if I were to die and I had told you to wait for me, it would be no better than me breaking a promise. And I know how much promises mean to you." Jessica started, her hold on Tiffany's hand tightening.

"We confessed our feelings to each other and you have no idea how happy I felt knowing that you loved me just as much as I did to you. But then I didn't want to be selfish. I purposely restrained myself from asking you to be mine forever because what are the chances of me coming back to be with you again? These were the questions that plagued my mind for those two days that I had left before the mission."

Tiffany found her eyes glistening, matching Jessica's.

"But when I was shot, my whole life flashed before me. Everything and everyone that I loved, flashed upon my eyes. And the last person that came into my mind, as I was lying on the hospital bed, hanging between life and death, was you." Jessica confessed as tears were finally released. She reached over to wipe Tiffany's tears that had found no way of stopping.

"Yes. You. Tiffany Hwang Miyoung. I was so happy, no, I am so happy that I lived. To be given a second chance to come back to you and tell you everything that I should have said. Being on the brink of death made me realize how much of an idiot I was to not say all that I wanted to you before I left. To spend all the time with you even if it may have been my last." Jessica let out a small smile as she held back her tears, tenderly caressing Tiffany's cheeks.

"And Tiffany Hwang Miyoung. You are not leaving me. Not now. Not never. You and I are fated to be together Tiffany. How many times have we said good-bye to each other, only to find each other again? How many times have you said you don't want me, only for you to realize you need me as much as I do to you? And how many time have you said you don't love me?"

Tiffany chuckled. "Too many times."

"And how did that turn out?" Jessica smiled, glad that Tiffany was now smiling.

"You already know the answer." Tiffany retorted with a smile.

"So, since we both still love each other why don't we stop hurting each other and ourselves? It's time for us to be official."

"What do you mean?"

Jessica smiled lovingly at Tiffany. "Tiffany Hwang Miyoung. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Tiffany smiled at Jessica as she cried and nodded. "Yes. Yes." She gave Jessica her famous eyesmile before hugging Jessica tightly. "I will be your girlfriend Jessica Jung."

Jessica smiled and hugged Tiffany tightly as well. "I won't abandon you and I will stay by your side. I love you Tiffany."

Tiffany cried again. This time tears of happiness as she heard those words from Jessica. "I love you too Jessica."

--------------------------------------

After a few minutes of hugging, Jessica suddenly loosened the hug.

"Wae? Are you hurting again?" Tiffany asked, concerned that Jessica's wound was acting up again.

Jessica shook her head. "No. But I don't want to stain your clothes with my blood." She answered with a frown.

Tiffany chuckled. "Pabo. I won't mind."

"But I do. Which reminds me, didn't you say you had to help me change my shirt?"

Tiffany blushed. "Um. Nevermind. You can do it yourself."

"Really? And risk re-opening my wound?"

"Just do it carefully and gently." Tiffany instructed as she stood up. "I'll get your hospital gown."

"Tiffany. I'm going to need your help."

".."

"But if you don't want to help then I'll just tell a nurse to help me. Maybe the one who asked me out last time." Jessica teased, enjoying the fact that Tiffany was glaring at her with clenched fists.

"You don't need her." Tiffany angrily spat, trying to control her jealousy.

"You're right. I don't need her. I want you. So can you please come help me?"

"Why?" Tiffany pretended she didn't care but she was spazzing inside as she took a seat next to Jessica.

"Because I rather have you see my half-." Jessica winked, as she raised her arms in the air, allowing Tiffany to take off her shirt. "Like what you see?"

Tiffany blinked to stop checking out Jessica's flawless upper body. Jessica's y, beautiful and hot!!!

Jessica then leaned over to  ily whisper in Tiffany's ear. "I'm all yours, girlfriend."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"It's getting late. We should go sleep." Tiffany whispered in the darkness, as she laid next to Jessica, her girlfriend. Girlfriend-she can't believe it! Jessica is her girlfriend!!! Ahhh!!!!

Jessica chuckled. "You're not angry at me anymore?" Jessica was referring to earlier when she was teasing Tiffany while changing her into her hospital gown.

"I'm here sleeping next to you and violating hospital rules. What do you think?" Tiffany asked with a smile as she placed an arm over Jessica's waist, careful not to touch her wound.

Jessica tightened her hold around Tiffany. "It's not a violation if I gave you permission. Besides, this is for protection purposes."

"How so?" Tiffany asked as she placed her palm over Jessica's beating heart.

"Protecting me from running away again and looking for my the woman I love." Jessica answered with a grin.

"Shut up." Tiffany hid her face in Jessica's warmth, causing the latter to laugh again. She missed Jessica's jokes, cheesy love lines...just everything.

"Right. I don't need to run away because you're always in my heart." Jessica said and held onto Tiffany's hand that was still placed over her heart.

"Cheesy Jung."

"Love you too Hwang." Jessica retorted and loosened herself a bit from the hold to kiss Tiffany's forehead. "So much."

Tiffany returned the gesture with her famous eyesmile and snuggled back against Jessica's warmth.

As silence engulf the pair, Tiffany found herself gradually falling asleep. She then heard Jessica's voice again, only this time, she was singing:

Neoreu seontaekhan iyu (The reason I chose you)

Nae sarme gajang keunseunmul (Is because you're the greatest gift in my life)

Nal nopi kkeureoollinikka (Because you lift me up high)

It's gonna be fantastic

Tiffany decided to sing a verse as well, so she put up a hand to cover Jessica's mouth.

Hurricane cheoreom momajideon (I was like a swirling hurricane)

Nae jasinjocha nal moreudeon ( Not even knowing myself)

~wooh wooh~

Jessica smiled as Tiffany was immersed in the song, but she didin't interrupt, allowing Tiffany to sing:

Jiljuma hadeon naege ( I only ran forward)

Neomu gwihan nega angyeo wa ( But the precious you came into my arms)

Tteugeopgo jageum hyeseong cheoreom wa (Like a hot and small comet)

~wooh wooh~

Eon simjangeul nogyeobeoryeosseo (you melted my frozen heart)

Tiffany stopped, pouting. "I don't remember the next lyrics."

"Don't worry. I'm a big Henry Lau fan."

"I know you are." Tiffany answered, being jealous again.

"But of course I'm your number one fan Tiffany." This made Tiffany happy again.

"Alright. Hurry and sing. I want to listen to you and fall asleep with your voice." Tiffany said in a tired voice and smile.

"I'll sing to you my favorite verses."

"hm." Was Tiffany's response.

Neon gamdongiya teungbyeolhae (You move me, you're special)

Modeun geol sijaghal su itge hae (You make me able to start everything)

Hwansangui kkumsogi dabeul chajanasseo (I found the answer to a fantastic dream)

Neoui kkeutdo yeogsi naigil yeah (I hope your end is me as well)

"It's gonna be fantastic." Jessica finished with a smile as she looked at Tiffany's serene and peaceful sleeping face.

She caressed Tiffany's face gently and laid a lingering kiss on Tiffany's lips. Tiffany unconsciously smiled upon feeling the loving gesture and cuddled up to Jessica once again. "You're fantastic Jessica. I love you." Tiffany whispered, to which Jessica clearly heard.

Jessica will never get tired of hearing those three words from Tiffany, the only person who can bring her to hell and then back to heaven...Tiffany Hwang Miyoung.

Jessica laid back down on her side, holding Tiffany protectively before closing her eyes to join Tiffany in slumber.

"I love you too Tiffany."

And Jessica will never get tired of saying those five words to Tiffany.

In the end, two dreams were fulfilled...

...the fate of Jessica and Tiffany are finally tied to one other...

......and its an indescribable feeling.

But one thing is for sure...it's fantastic.
