"Nope, you never break your promise, Jinnie-ah."

"I did Mom, I did."

"What do you mean, Ah Jin? Wake up."

Ah Jin POV

I woke up, shaked by my aunt.It was just a dream but feels so real.

"You dreamt about your mom again, huh?"

"Yeah." 

My Aunt let out a big sigh. "You must really miss your mom. Let's eat your breakfast. Your uncle is waiting for you. I'll wait downstair." She hugged me and left downstair.

I washed my face and went downstair.

"Good morning Uncle, Aunt." I kissed their forehead

"Our Ah Jin just woken up, huh? Let's start. I really hungry." My Uncle growling over the food. I chuckled at my uncle's action. He never failed to make me laugh along with Auntie.

Since my mom dead, I lived with my father in Seoul until he left me overseas. My father was a scientist. He left 3 years ago. Since then, I lived here in Busan in my uncle's house. I wasn't sad though, I liked it here more. People more friendly. I got many friends and the best part was I didn't have to see him.

"Have yor dad called you?" Uncle's question snapped me back from my thought about him. 

"Nope, what's wrong?" I think something was off hearing my uncle's question. It's not usual.

"Later. Let's finish our breakfast first." Auntie pattes my back.

Just as I finished my breakfast and helped auntie do the dishes, the phone rang.

"Ah Jin-ah, come here." Uncle called me from the living room.

"What's wrong?" I bumped into him.

"Wow, calm down girl. Here's your father." He chuckled leaving me with the phone.

"Dad, I really miss you. You're not calling me this few months. You're abandoned me." I cried as soon as I held the phone.

"Who wasn't? You'll see me soon, my beautiful Ah Jin. I'll come back in three days."

"Really? Yeaaaaaaaaaay." I heard a heavy sigh as I screamed.

He told me I never changed that I sounded like a little girl. And we laughed at his jokes. I really missed the moments like this. I missed how he sounded like. Hearing that he would come back soon, I couldn't help but felt really happy.

"By the way did you see your result yet?" He's questioning about my result of SAT that i took.

"Nope Dad. The result is not coming out yet."

Actually I was afraid to look at my result. I was scared that my result would dissapoint him.

"And how come I know that you are officially a Medical Student of SNU?"

"What? Are you serious Dad? Kyaaaaaaa." I couldn't hold my feels. Being a medical student was my dream. I wanted to be like my mom. Being a doctor who helped many lives.

"But, is that mean I have to live alone in Seoul? I don't want to be alone." I cried

"No, you'll never live alone."

"What do you mean?"

"We'll coming back to our old house."
