Silver and Iron
Description
In a corrupted world of mythical beast and monsters, there are bound to be victims. It's a dangerous time, with dragons spitting flames from the skies, Lamias stealing wondering children from the woods, and Sirens leading unknowing sailors to their watery deaths. Even so, it's not a predator prey relationship between the monsters and humans. There are humans who choose the life of killing monsters and protecting the innocent.
For the last 3 monthes, there's been an increase of Moor attacks in the Westchester, giant monsters born of plant and earth, tearing villages apart. The human hunters start to grow thin and mentally weary; nevertheless continue to hunt.
In the end it does not matter how many Moors they burn or how many villages they save. The hunters fail to see the bigger picture. Most imporantly, they fail to realize there is a ringleader behind the Moor attacks. A witch.
Foreword
Ten years ago werebeast slaughtered the villagers of Seoul. The attack was unexpected. There was no time to save the isolated village in the mountains.
It was Park Sandara's 10th birthday. The day was spent hunting with her father, as well Do Kyungsoo, her best friend. It was no secret their fathers wanted them to marry one another and unite the two already very close families. Sadly for the parents, Sandara only saw the other boy as friend, even a brother at times.
The conversation on the way back was energetic and joyous. Sandara couldn't help but run her fingers over her new birthday present. A delicately engraved, pure silver danger. It was only 8 inches, but it looked large in the hands of a ten year old.
Sandara's father tensed when they neared the village. Something was wrong, "it's too quiet", he had said. "Stay here little ones. I'm just going to make sure everything's safe, alright?". Sandara nodded and anxiously watched her father walk into the hut.
That was the last time they saw her father.
That was the last time the two children saw anyone from the village.
Author's Note: Hello everyone, Rekkles_fangirl here! This is the first real "big" story I've ever written in my life and I'm really excited! :D Before I start I just wanted to mention the monsters I'll be including in this story. Many of them will be taken from or based off already exsiting monsters. Some will be taken from supernatural. Disclaimer: I have not created any of these monsters.
