Ch.10
Something More Than Best Friends
The party was going great and everyone was having fun.
Minho had taken Onew off to introduce him to some girls from the girls’ soccer team. Jonghyun was leaning against the wall, watching Key and Taemin dance better than anyone. A lot of people had stepped aside to watch the two of them shine, and quite frankly everyone stared in awe at their dancing awesomeness.
Jonghyun smiled as he watched Key. That boy looked really amazing tonight and was having so much fun. Truthfully, he had banished Jonghyun to the wall after witnessing his lack of dancing skills. Not that Jonghyun minded, he didn’t want to embarrass himself, so he just let the two take the spotlight. But when the song ended, Minho came back and Taemin grabbed his hand and walked off. Key stopped dancing and went over to Jonghyun and grabbed his hands.
“Dance with me, you promised,” He said with a grin.
“You were the one that banished me! I can’t dance Key,” Jonghyun protested, but followed Key to the dance floor. Key glanced at him and smirked as a new song came on.
“Then I’ll dance around you to make both of us look good,” He said.
Much to Key’s amusement, and Jonghyun’s oblivion, Sekyung was glaring daggers at them from where she was standing with some of the other cheerleaders. Key smirked when she turned to stalk off angrily. Her friends quickly followed after her as she went into the bathroom and kicked the wall.
“What’s wrong, Sekyung?” Yoona asked, staring at Sekyung’s little tantrum with wide eyes.
“That Key is all over my Jonghyun!” Sekyung exclaimed angrily. The girls looked at each other and shrugged.
“He isn’t yours anymore, Sekyung,” Taeyeon said quietly. She was the captain of the squad, but in all honesty she didn’t really like this new girl.
“You guys said you’d help me get back at Key, but you haven’t done a thing!” Sekyung whined. Sooyoung and Sunny glanced at each other and resisted rolling their eyes. They quickly followed Yuri and Hyoyeon out the door and back to the dance.
“Look, Sekyung, Key isn’t a bad person, we grew up with him,” Seohyun told the ranting girl. Sekyung glared at her.
“Well he’s ruining my life! And I’m going to ruin his!” Sekyung yelled at her, leaving the bathroom.
“What a ,” Jessica said, laughing at the imma
