Year 1979. Age 25. Current sate of mind: hopeless. Relationship status: single with a broken heart due to a one sided love. Kim Sunggyu sat at the bar of his best friend wedding cursing the day he had innocently introduced the happy couple currently dancing flaunting their undying love for each other. He took a swig from his seventh drink but who was counting. He bitterly watched them smile at each other and whisper what he thought were hopeless love promises, Sunggyu hoped (even if it meant her heart breaking) that her now husband broke her heart so that she ran to him. His love for her would make him wait with arms wide open and reassurance that everything would get better with him by her side. But that of course was just evil wishful thinking. He tipped the pretty bartender that was flaunting her to him but he payed no mind. His head wasn't in the building and other beautiful woman didn't really compare. Sunggyu walked through the dance floor, pass the guest and found himself outside. The air was thick (maybe that was just him), the wind felt extra cold for an early October night and his tie was tighter than he realized. The sky looked like how he felt dark with just a few sparks of hope that with daylight coming would sweep away. It felt like vespers goodbye. He loosened his tie and leaned on the railroad. His thoughts were hurting his head and the alcohol was finally doing its job. Sunggyu yelled an awful loud screeching frustrating yell. He wanted to pull his hair, punch her now husband in the face, and kiss her senseless in till her insides realized that he, Kim Sunggyu was the one for her. "Oppa?" he heard her voice from
