“  hyung , i just finished my schedule ! wait for me so we can go visit Mi Rae-ssi together  “ I said over the phone

Eunhyuk looked around him , they were about to exit from the hospital , he thought about it for a second , then a smile , a mischievous one , like those ones that appear every time he has an evil yet great idea “ oh Donghae-ya we can’t go ! manager hyung just told that there was a change in our schedule so we don’t have time to go check on her ! “  he stated trying to sound as truthful as he can be , leeteuk who heard what Eunhyuk just said looked at him and gave him a confused look whom eunhyuk responded by putting his index in front of his mouth as if ‘ don’t talk ! ‘ .

I  groaned at his world  “ so what should we do ? “

“ just go on your own ! and apologize on behalf of us I’m sure Mi Rae will understand ! “ eunhyuk smiled widely , he’s plan is working , he knew Donghae is a big foul who would fall easily to a lie even if it wasn’t well made !

“ what ? you want me to go alone ?! you know how I get awkward around girls ! anie let’s just drop it she’s probably fine !“

“ a-anie ! “ hyuk replied almost instantly “ you know she’s Ra In’s best friend after all , we don’t won’t to look bad in her eyes ! and plus you don’t have any schedule now so you don’t have anything better to do ! just go visit her how hard is that going to be ?!” he explained and before Donghae can say another word “ okay hyung ! we’re counting on you ! make us proud ! see ya ! I got to go ! “ and he ended the call

“ why did you lie to him ? “ leeteuk asked while closing the door of the car

Eunhyuk still wearing hi mischievous smile said “ I don’t know ! I think it’s time for Donghae to get himself a new girl and get over the Jessica thing ! and I think Mi Rae is the right girl for that . they looked cute together when they were talking the day she came to visit us ! “

Leeteuk nodded as if approvement “ oowkay ! ... but you know he’s going to kill you when he’ll know that we already went there ! “

“ i know ! but he’ll thank me later ! I’m just giving him a chance to meet her alone , you know he even kept asking about her , he thought she was familiar to him ! “ hyuk sighed “ I can’t help but be the cupid in this ! i got to help those pitiful souls to reunite!  “

“ hyung you’re exaggerating ! go get yourself a girlfriend first than think about him ! “ henry intervened

“ who said I won’t ! Mi Rae’s friend looked cute ! just my type ! “ he stated with no shame and his lips

“ eww hyung ...that was disgusting  ! “henry groaned and looked outside the window of the vehicle while Leeteuk just laughed at hyuki's statement

“ aish ! these hyungs ! “ he whispered still looking at the phone  “ okay I’ll go , how hard that is going to be ? “

And that’s how I got here ‘ aish ! I should have known that they won’t let me in at this time ! ‘ I thought and sighed ‘ what kind of person would get a sick person out of the hospital to see him ! I’m supposed to visit her ! ‘ I groaned in frustration at these thought and kicked the ground ‘ I’m making a foul out of myself here ! I should have just gone home ! ‘

You put your phone back in your pocket , you smiled widely and felt like doing a happy crazy dance right now but you didn’t want for him to wait for long , you tiptoed trying so hard not to make any sound , so Sunny won’t wake up , slowly you reached the door , and with ultimate carefulness , you twisted the doorknob and wisely opened the door . you let out a sigh of relief when you succeeded in getting out of the room , you looked around to see if there was any nurse around and luckily there was none ‘ good ! ‘

You started walking carefully turning your head now and then to make sure nobody is around but suddenly

“ where are you going ? “ someone spoke

You let out a yawn in surprise “ oh my god , you scared me ! “ you put your hand on your heart  “ I hate it when you disappear and appear out of no where ! “

“ where are you going ? “ she empasized on the ' where '

You sighed in defeat she's not leaving you alone without telling her the truth after all she's sticked to you and she'll follow you anyway “ Donghae’s outside ! “

her eyes widned “ really ? why is he here ? “ 

“ I don’t know probably to visit me ! “

formed a shape of “o”  “ good ! let’s go ! “ she grinned ‘ oh no ! ‘

She started walking but you stayed glued to your place , you cleared your throat “ can you like disappear again ? “

Ra In stopped walking as soon as she heard what you said , she turned her head “ what ? “

“ I want to talk to him alone ! I don’t want you with me ! you disturb me and I loose focus ! “ you explained and you could feel Ra In’s face almost fell down

She straightened her pose , crossed her arms over her chest ,an eyebrow raised  ‘ like I predicted ! ‘ she thought

“ okay ! what ever ! just don’t screw it ! “ she warned and walked away coolly “ wow I didn’t expect her to give up easily ! “ you shrugged 

You reached the exit door and opened it to feel the cold night breeze brush over your skin , you looked around , the hospital had a garden in the front , but you were too busy to even notice how the garden looks like cause all your attention is to find him ,you looked around trying to find the figure you came out for , and here he was, his back facing you , he was looking at the ground while swaying his foot , his hand in his jacket pocket  ‘  even his back is attractive ! ‘

You slowly walked toward him a smile plastered on your face , your heart beat rating increase with every step , you looked at the sky it was clearer than ever , the stars were glowing and the moon was shinning and somehow you felt like it reflected how you felt on the inside . you were happy ! just by this little act Donghae again succeeded on making you happy again !

When you reached him , you cleared your throat to let him know about your presence and indeed he turned around and smiled as soon as he saw you

“ you look fine ! “ he blurted out and clenched his fist when he figured out what he said “ I-I mean I’m happy that you’re fine now ! “ he rubbed the back of his neck and looked down in embracement

You chuckled at his cuteness “ oh thank you ! “

He cleared his throat “ I’m sorry you had to get out so you can meet me ! I mean I’m here to visit you not the other way around ! “

you giggled a bit “ don’t worry ! there’s no problem I wanted to go out anyway I felt like suffocating in there ! “ you stated “ you were just a reason for me to get out ! “

he smiled at your response “ oh but why didn’t you come with the guys earlier ? “ you asked in curiosity

Donghae’s eyes widened and his smile disappeared in surprise “ what guys ? “ he asked back

You raised an eyebrow “ you don’t know ? they came earlier to visit me ! “ you said

And then it hit him ‘ that’s why Eunhyuk’s voice sounded almost like he was smiling ! damn he fooled me again !  ‘

“ that punk …” he whispered under his breath “ I’ll get him later … “

You couldn’t help but put your hand on your lips trying to stop the loud laugh that was threatening when you figured out his friends just prank him to come oh wait ‘ he didn’t come out of his own wish ‘

“ euh … so you came because you thought they didn’t come ? “ you asked instantly

Donghae nodded trying to be honest , you scoffed ‘ and I’m the one who thought …. Aish I’m so naïve ! I even came out in this cold for him  ‘

“ okay then thanks for coming ! you can leave now... “ you said in a frustrated tone and bowed , Donghae raised his brow in confusion ‘ why is she being like this all of a sudden ? ‘

“ sorry for troubling you ! “ you added coldly and turned around to leave  ' you... LEE DONGHAE ! you freaking ... ' you cursed him in your mind  , fist clinched ' if just you weren't an idol i would have punched your stupid cute face so ha-'  you stopped when you felt him grab your wrist 

“ don’t apologize ! I wanted to come ! “ he stated in a low tone , your heart skipped a beat when you heard those words , you felt the heat rising up in your hole body not only because of what he said but also because he was holding your wrist with his soft hands , you knew you were blushing by now and you thanked god that your back was facing him . you slowly turned around to look at him who was startled as well

‘WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAID ? ‘ he mentally cursed himself for being clumsy , a smile crept on your face and you cleared your throat while looking away from him 

Donghae let go of your hand when he realized he was still holding it “ so … “ he said trying to shake off the awkward atmosphere

“ so …” you replied brushing your hands together

“ wanna sit down ? “ he asked pointing at the bench behind him , you nodded , and both of you started walking .

‘ what should I say now ? this is getting too awkward ! ‘ you thought and squeezed your teeth in nervousness but you were relieved when Donghae took the lead and started the conversation

“w-when are you going to be discharged ? “ he asked rubbing his nape

“ tomorrow after some check up ! I wanted to go out today but they refused ! I feel perfectly fine I don’t get the point of keeping me here ! “ you explained earning a smile from him

“ you should be more careful with your health from now on ! you shouldn't leave something like this happen again “ 

You smiled at him “ thank you for your concern Mr. Lee ! “ you both chuckled

“ wow the sky is … “ Donghae said when he looked at the sky

“ beautiful , right ? “ you ended his sentence

“ yeah it’s been a long time since I haven’t seen it clear like this ! the stars look so bright ! “

You nodded at his statement and both of you stayed silent , looking at the bright sky and inhaling the soft air .

“ I heard from Siwon that you like watching the stars ! “ he broke the silence again

You nodded slowly  “ yeah ! “

“ so what’s your favorite star ? “ Donghae asked , somehow he felt this situation was like a déjà vu for him , he felt like he already had the same conversation one day

“ umm … “ you thought for a bit “ all of them ? “ you answered hesitantly

“ you know that’s not an answer ! “ he reasoned

“ no really ! I like them all ! but the thing is … “ you bit you're lower lip and cleared your throat“ my favorite star don’t belong there ! “ you added ‘ my favorite star is right next to me ! ‘

Donghae averted his attention from the sky and looked at you who was still looking at it ' this ... why do i feel like i heard this somewhere ? ' you turned your gaze back at him when you felt his stares , you smiled sheepishly at him “ I think I should go back now ! I’m starting to feel cold here ! “ you said

Donghae snapped out of his deep thoughts and nodded “ yeah I better leave too ! “ he smiled and both of you got up “ oh I almost forgot “ he bent down a bit to the side of the bench and grabbed something. he turned toward you “ these are for you ! “ he handed you a bouquet of flowers you smile at his act and accepted it , you inhaled the scent of it , even know you're not a big fan of flowers but you surely going to keep those alive no matter what 

" i should give them to you first thing but ... i forgot " he said looking down you chuckled at his clumsiness ' this my Donghae ! '

“ it's okay andthank you ! you didn’t have too ! “ donghae just rubbed the back of his neck and smiled with angelic smile that never changed over the years “uh I’ll get going now before I freeze here ! “ you add and bowed “ see you around Donghae-ssi ! “

“ drop the formalities ! “ he said instantly “ just call me oppa “ you both blushed at his boldness but you managed to smile at him “ neh ! … oppa ! “ you winked at him and turned around to leave

“ uh Mi Rae .. “ he called out for you  “ the guys would like to meet you and hang out with you again ! why don’t you come tomorrow to visit us ! “ he suggested when you turned around

You smiled at him “ umm I’ll see if I can you know I’m just getting discharged tomorrow ! but I’ll try my best ! “

“ oh … okay ! call me then ok ? “ he said trying to not look disappointed you nodded at him and turned around

Donghae kept looking at you until you reached the hospital door , his gaze never left you , before you enter you turned around and waved him good bye he did the same too , then you mentioned him to leave with your hand , he smiled at you and nodded his head

He sighed ‘ I think that went well ! ‘

“ oh oppa I’m so happy that you came back safe and sound ! how was your trip ? “ Jessica asked her fiancé smiling from ear to ear

“ it was good ! I enjoyed it there ! it was tiring but I had fun ! “ he answered coolly , not bothering to look at her “ where are we going Jessica ? you know I just came back and I have a schedule with the guys later , I only have now to rest ! “ he whined at the women who practically was dragging him out of the company

“ yeobo , you know that the wedding is just two months away and we still have a lot ahead ! but don’t worry I met with the wedding planner again and we agreed on some things ! “

“ okay !  then where are you taking me ? “ he asked again clearly annoyed

Jessica stopped in her tracks and turned around to face him with a straight face on “ don’t you want to know what I chose ? don’t you want to know where our wedding is going to be ? i mean do you even know what i  .. “ she slowely raised her voice

“ Jessica not now ! not here ! “ Siwon warned her

“ no Siwon if it’s not now than when ? I accept the part that I was wrong when i let our engagement thing go out to the public and I’m sorry for doing so ! why do you want to keep making feel guilty about it ? “

Siwon sighed and looked away “ it’s not that ! “ he whispered

“ than what ? what is holding you from being a good groom and help your future wife in planning for our wedding like normal people ! I remember clearly you used to do that with Ra In ! “ Jessica shouted earning a glare from Siwon after she spoke Ra In’s name

She sighed trying to calm herself “ I just want to have you by my side in this ! what happened to you ? you were all for this and now I feel like you’re having second thoughts ! “

“ I’m not having second thoughts ! “ Siwon screamed and Jessica screamed back “ then what is going on for heaven’s sake ? “

“ I don’t know either ! “ he sighed  “ I know I haven’t been a great help and I’m sorry for that ! It’s just that planning for the wedding brings me back memories ! “ he confessed

‘ I saw that coming … ‘ Jessica thought and sighed , she daringly grabbed Siwon’s hands  “ I’m sorry honey ! “ she apologized and pouted “ I didn’t know you were feeling like this ! if I knew I wouldn’t say anything ! “ she explained looking down at her feet , an tear skipped her eyes “ I’m sorry ! I didn’t mean too ! “

Siwon’s hands let go of Jessica’s and hugged her instead when he saw her crying he felt apologetic toward her after all it was him who proposed to her , it was him who wanted to marry her she didn’t come and make him marry her  “ I’m sorry I didn't know how you felt !i only thought about myself sorry I was being selfish there ! “

“ no ! I was the on-… “

“ shhhh … “ he caressed the back of her hair and kissed the top of her head so she can calm down , her face buried in Siwon’s chest Jessica smiled in victory  

She backed off a little bit when stopped sobbing and looked at Siwon , he wiped the tears off of her cheeks and kissed her forehead “ so where did you want to take me ?"

 Jessica will still be a member of SNSD in this story so SNSD will continue as 9 , hope you liked this chapter ! aww hyukkie fooled our fishy ! got to love Eunhae !
