Haera's POV 

After finished eating the sandwich that Lay gave me, I decided to go back to class. As soon I arrived on my seat, I was tackled by Aerin.

"Moron, where did you go ? I was worried sick for you !" she ask then smack my head.. 

"rooftop, and I'm not a moron you chicken.." I said and stick my tounge out 

"whatever, but have you eaten your lunch yet? I mean, after that incident of the cafetaria, you just walk out like a boss and didn't bring a single food with you" she said concerned.

"yeah.. don't worry I already eat my lunch, I got a free sandwich" I grin and she raised her eyebrows

"free ? from who?" she asked 

"Lay? the guy from EXO" i answered and Aerin's eyes widened, later on she gives me a smirk

"I see... rooftop, with Lay" she smirk 

Geez.. byuntae .. 

"yah, why are you smirking, byuntae?" I asked 

"nothing. Are you sure that you two just talking and not doing anything else? I mean, hey it's the rooftop we're talking about" she smirk again and I just shook my head

"please, get rid that dirty mind of yours" I said and start to read my books again

"tsk... books again" she groaned 

"hey, Aerin .." I call her 

"huh?" she turned to me 

"I guess I should think again what you say this morning .." I said 

"about what ? fried chicken?" she ask, clueless

"no dummy, about ... the boy thingy.." I said and then Aerin give me a smile when the teacher come in and start the lesson.

Author's POV

The bell rings and hell yeah.. it's time to go home. You lazily pack your things and walk out with Aerin's tailing behind you. 

"Girl, you want bubble tea?" you asked Aerin and she nod her head excitedly 

"Hell yeah, I'm craving for it lately, how about this new cafe called XOXO cafe ?" she asked and you tap your chin

"hmm? the new cafe behind our school?" you asked and she nods again, giving you a pleading look 

"why not ? let's go then" you said and pull Aerin out of the school. The cafe is pretty close, around 10 minutes of walking and tada... you arrived at the cafe. The design is pretty simple yet stunning. You and Aerin quickly get in and greeted by the cool breeze from the air con. You two sat at the corner and put you bag down.

"what do you want? since I'm nice today, my treat" you said and Aerin smile widely 

"thanks bestie, oh and I want strawberry flavour please" she said and you nod

"dessert ?" you ask

"cheesecake babyyy" she grin widely and you went to the counter to order

"One chocolate bubble tea and one strawberry bubble tea please" you order 

"do you want any snacks or desserts miss?" the staff ask 

"sure. Two cheesecake please" 

"that will be 11.300 won please" the staff said and he gives you the receipt after you pay. 

"your order will be ready in 5 minutes miss" he said and you nod. You wait for your order while playing your phone. Suddenly the cafe's bell ring indicating that there's a customer. 

"Welcome to XOXO Cafe" you heard the waitress greet the newly come customer. You were too busy with your phone that you didn't even bother to look up. That untill you heard someone call you...

"Haera ??" you heard someone says and you look up from your phone

"Oh.. Lay-ssi.. it's you" you said and smile at him

"nee.. what are you doing here ?" he asked

"erm... buying bubble teas?" you said and he chuckled

"ohh I see... are you alone?" he asked again

"nope, I'm with my friend , you?"

"I'm with the rest of EXO, see there ?" he pointed to a big table at the other side of the corner. You look at the table and your eyes met with Baekhyun's , he seems shocked at first but then the stare turned into a sharp glare which you gladly ignore.

" Ah .. I see.. okay then I'm going to my table since my orders has arrived" you said and take the tray and about to walk off but then Lay stopped you

"wait Haera ! why don't you join us ? I'm sure the others won't mind." he said and flashed you a cute smile

"erm.. no thanks Lay, I don't think it's a good idea since Baekhyun is there.. but thanks for the offer" you said with a smile and the walk to your table

"Yah ! what took you so long?" Aerin whined  

"sorry.." you grin and placed the tray on the table

"Hey, is that EXO??" Aerin ask and you nod

"yeah.." you answered

"how could you know when you don't even look at their table" she ask and you stare at her

"hey, I met Lay earlier at  the cashier and he asked us to join them.." you said and Aerin grin widely 

"really?!!! then what are we doing here ?! let's go!!" she said am was about to stand when you stop her 

"but i said no.." you said and her smile fell into a frown 

"aishhhh !! why did you reject the offer! now I can't see Kai...." she whines

"do you want to see me argue with that jerk Taehyun?!!" you asked, annoyed

"It's Baekhyun !!" she corrected and you rolled your eyes

"I don't  care" you said 

"hey this is delicious !" you exclaimed happily

"really ?? let me try" Aerin said and about to eat your cheesecake when you smack her hand 

"eat your own cheesecake !! this is mine" you said and pull the plate closer 

"tsk... meanie" she mumble and eat her cheesecake grumpily. 

Meanwhile at EXO's table

"hey, did you just talk to the nerd that bumped me at he cafetaria earlier??" Baekhyun ask at Lay 

"uh. Baek, actually you're the one who bumped at her" Chanyeol said and received a smack from Baekhyun, and the whole table snicker at the two

"Yeah.. she's the one at the cafetaria earlier" Lay said 

"Is she alone? why don't  you invite her to join us ?" Suho ask

"well, I do invite her but she refuses, maybe because Baekhyun is here ?" Lay said and the whole table fell into laughter

"ha ! she's scared of me !" Baekhyun exclaimed and Chanyeol butted in again

"no she's not, maybe she found you annoying that's why she does't want to see you" Chanyeol snickers and Baekhyun hit him again, harder

"stop hitting my head bacon !" he said 

"stop bickering you two.." Lay calm the two and chuckled

"Haera...how i wish she's my tutor ... " Suho said while smiling

"tsk... what's great about her anyway?" Bekhyun scoffs and sip his bubble tea" 

"well, she's our school number one student and for a nerd she's actually pretty and cheerful, unlike the other nerds she has pretty much friends" Suho said 

"and she's nice too" Lay added and all eyes on im

"how did you know?" Chen asked 

"emm.. actualy earlier, after lunch I went to the rooftop and saw her there, we have a little conversation and she's nice, and kind" Lay said and scratch the back of his neck 

"owwww rooftop ey??" Chen wiggle his eyebrows

"b-but the rooftop is haunted right??" Tao asked 

"Huang Zitao !! please.. just please stop being a scaredy cat, and the rooftop isn't haunted ! it's just a stupid rumor" Kris says while making 'are-you-kidding-me' face

"I'm just saying..." Tao said while pouting 

"What you say is nonsense and stop pouting or no more gucci bag .." Kris said and Tao quickly sit straight 

"Lay ! you should introduce us to her !" Suho said happily and the other nod except Baekhyun

"tsk...what's good about her, she's just an annoying nerd anyway.." Baekhyun mumbles and continue to drink his bubble tea and chat with his friends.

chapter 3 is up !! and also, I want to ask if you already know about the Baekhyun-Taeyeon relationship.

well.. it's shocking though, I didn't expect BaekYeon to be dating. At first, I was heart broken but then I found it funny, especially when I see the photos them and I found out that the one who's driving the car is Taeyeon and not Baekhyun.. Lol , but anyway, congrats for BaekYeon couple 

even though I'm still heart broken *SOBS* but congrats to SM new couple BaekYeon
