Monday morning

 

Chaerin

 

I arrived at my office at exactly 8 in the morning, i don't have much to do this day but i don't know why i wanted to be here at this early, i sit on my swivel chair and read the newspaper when i saw the couch where the twins was sitting yesterday

 

I wonder what happened to them? Did their mom got mad or something?

 

"Why am i so affected with them? I don't know them at all.." i told myself, i took a sip from my coffee still the thoughts of the twins running thru my mind

 

I remembered how Jeiven eats like me, he seems quiet than his sister, he's very good looking and tall for his age, i bet a lot of girls has a crush on him. Franchesca on the other hand is the opposite of him, she's talkative but i like that to her, she's so bubbly and i think Jeiven always obey her. She's pretty and has a beautiful eyes

 

"What am i doing?" i said again, i sigh, i don't want to start my morning like this. I tried to erase them on my mind but the thoughts of them keep rushing in. I took my phone inside my bag and text my brother

 

Hey bro! Did you get the twins surname?

 

I place it on my table hoping that he'll reply soon and within in seconds, my phone beeps

 

Sorry sis, Seungri won't gave it to me

 

I sigh again, i'm thinking what will i say to my brother when i heard a knock on my door

 

"Come in.." i said, i saw my secretary walking in, smiling

 

"Sorry to disturb you this early Ms. Lee.." she said

 

"Oh it's okay, is there a problem?" i asked

 

"Oh no but there are two kids looking for you.."

 

"Kids?"

 

"Yeah, they said they want to see Ms. Lee Chaerin but they need to talk to Sir Youngbae first but i told them he's not here yet.."

 

"And?"

 

"Then they told me they wanted to talk to the nice lady on the 12th floor, they told me that she knows Sir Youngbae but the only person came into my mind is you and besides you are the one they are looking for.."

 

"Jeiven and Franchesc?" i asked her, my secreatry furrow her eyebrows

 

"Yes Miss, how did you know?"

 

"Uhm just a guess, you can send them in.." i answered, she bow her head and went outside, i waited for the to come in

 

Why do i feel so excited seeing these kids again

 

Then there they are, Franchesca waves at me smiling while Jeiven seems not in the mood

 

"Good Morning sweeties!" i greeted them

 

"Good Morning Miss nice lady, sorry to disturb you on your work but we need to talk to you.." Franchesca said but then i notice they are wearing school uniform

 

Wait a minute! Today is monday! They have class!

 

"Did you guys skipped school?" i asked them then Jeiven points her sister

 

"Like what i'm always saying, it's her idea!" Jeiven said, i walk towards the two and let them sit on the couch

 

"it's not good to skip class, you know that. What if your mom finds out?"

 

"We know but we really wanted to talk to you.." Franchesca said

 

"About what sweetie?"

 

"Can you please ask your brother where to find Ms. Lee Chaerin, we need to talk to her badly!"

 

"We won't go anywhere until we talk to her, i don't want to skip class anymore.." Jeiven said

 

What do they want from me?

 

"Uhm okay, i'll text my brother and ask him if she know where Ms. Lee Chaerin is.." i answerd, i walk towards my table and turn my name around so they won't see it

 

"Did you guys take your breakfast?"

 

"Yes! Mom always cook before she leaves.." Jeiven answered me

 

"Where does she work?"

 

"In a hotel, she's the manager there.." Franchesca answered me this time

 

"Oh okay.."

 

"Did you texted him?"

 

"Yes Jeiven, i'm just waiting for his reply.." he nodded his head and look at is sister

 

"I'm hungry, i didn't ate too much because i'm worried mom might find out we skipped class.." i heard him said

 

"Me too but don't worry, i got your back on this one.." Franchesca said

 

How can a 7 year old twins got out of the gate and how did they came here?

 

"You two took a bus?" i asked them

 

"Yes, we told the bus driver that it's an emergency and we needed to see our mother so he drop us off here for free.." Franchesca explained

 

Smart twins

 

"Okay, so while we wait for my brother's reply, do you guys want some croissant and a hot choco?"

 

"Yes please!" Jeiven answered

 

 

 

I'm holding Jeieven to my right while Franchesca is on my left. People keep on looking at us, some smiled and some furrow their eyebrows

 

Maybe they thought these are my kids but what the heck?! I don't care if they think of that

 

I pushed the door open and let them come in first

 

"Hey Joe!" i said, greeting the man on the counter

 

"Hey there dear! The usual?" he asked

 

"Yeah but can you add two hot choco and 1 choco and cheese croissant?"

 

"Hungry?"

 

"No, it's for them.." i answered pointing out the two

 

"Hello mister!" Franchesca said and wave

 

"I didn't know you have kids.." he said

 

"Well yeah, the figures won't tell.." i answered and wink, Joe shook his head and give me my change, we sit in a table near the window

 

"So tell me, what's with talking to Ms. Lee?" i asked them

 

"You tell her.." Jeiven told Franchesca

 

"No, you tell her!" Franchesca answered

 

"Why would i? You are the one who saw her picture.." i heard Jeiven said

 

My picture?!!!

 

"Ms. Lee's picture?" i asked them

 

"Yes! I saw it on our mom's purse, accidentally.." Franchesca answered

 

"Yeah right, accidentally!"

 

"Shut up Jei!" i look at the two as our orders came, i give one of them a hot choco

 

"Who wants cheese?" i asked them

 

"Me!" Franchesca excitedly said

 

"Choco?" Jeiven asked

 

"Here you go.." i said, handing him over his chocolate croissant, i let them took a bite first

 

"So about the picture, did you brought it?"

 

"No, i left it in the house. Mom always check our bags before she leaves.." Franchesca answered

 

"Oh okay. Does this Lee Chaerin ever did something bad to your mom?"

 

"We don't know but we heard Uncle Seungri and Auntie Bommie talk about her and they said that if mom finds out, they are dead.." Franchesca said

 

"That's why we need to talk to her. We want to know if she knows our mom and why does she have a picture with her.." Jeiven added

 

"Maybe she's her bestfriend"

 

"No, i saw the word 'my one true love' at the back of the picture

 

"What?" i asked

 

"You heard me right miss.."

 

"By the way, you haven't told us your name.." Jeiven said, i look at the two, my heart beats faster and i don't know why

 

"it's Chae.." i answered

 

"Nice to meet you Ms. Chae.." Jeiven said and extend his arm towards me, i gladly accepted it so as Franchesca. I let the finish their food and i will text Seungri late to fetch them here

 

"Thank you for the food, Ms. Chae.." Franchesca said

 

"it's nothing.." i answered then i pause for a while before i speak

 

"Guys, can i ask you something?" i asked them

 

"Sure thing Ms. Chae." Jeiven answered

 

"What is your mom's name?" i asked again, i pour some water on my glass

 

"Oh it's Dara.. Park Sandara.." Franchesca answered, i look at the twins with eyes widen

 

"Can you say that again?!" i asked

"Oh Ms. Park, this is Mrs. Anderson from Seaside Shore Elementary school.."

"Oh hi Mrs. Anderson, good to hear from you again.."

"Same here Ms. Park but i think we have some problem here.."

"Huh? What?"

"We can't seem to find your twins but the bus driver said that they rode the bus and he dropped them off here.."
