I can’t believe what we’re hearing right now, I know that he’s not our father and mom’s is trying her best for us not to know who is our real mother

 

 

“I can’t do this sis, not anymore. I am gay and you know that!” I heard Daddy Seung-gi said

 

 

“I know that but you’re the only one who can pretend to be my boyfriend..” Mom answered, I mean what’s gotten into her

 

 

“Harvey is coming home though he knows what we’ve been doing and it’s nothing to him but I want to stop Dara. You’re making it hard for me..”

 

 

“Come on sis, when you said yes to me, you know that you need to be sweet towards me, you need to kiss and hug—“ I saw Daddy Seung-gi covers mom’s mouth

 

 

“Ewe! Just by saying those words and thinking that I kissed you, ugh Dara! It’s so gross!!” he said

 

 

“Shut up!”

 

 

“But honestly sis, I really can’t do this anymore. I don’t want us to get caught, what if someone saw me with Harvey huh?” Mom didn’t answer

 

 

“You need to be true to yourself, your twins deserve to know who is their other mother..”

 

 

“But..”

 

 

“No but’s Dara. This is not right, you’re lying to your son and daughter then fooling your siblings by making them believe that I am your twins father..”

 

 

“You know I can’t tell them that Chaerin is their other mother..”

 

 

“Why not?”

 

 

“You know the reason Seung-gi..”

 

 

“But Dara it’s all in the past now..”

 

 

“Ugh!!” I felt Jeiven nudge my elbow

 

 

“So now that we know Mommy Chaerin is really our mother, do we still need to hide from them?” he asked me

 

 

“I don’t know but I think we need to call Mom after she and Daddy Seung-gi talk..” I answered

 

 

“Are we going home?” Jeiven asked me again

 

 

“Maybe in a couple of days my dear brother but we need to talk to Mom and tell her our demands and conditions..”

 

 

“And do you think she’ll say yes..”

 

 

“She will, just trust me. Now give me my phone so I can text Auntie Bommie about changing our plans..” I said

 

 

 

 

INSIDE

 

Bom and Seungri are busy eating with the rest of the gang, they didn’t wait for Dara and Seung-gi to return while Chaerin keeps on looking at the kitchen

 

 

“I wonder what happen to those two?” Seunghyun asked while looking at Bom

 

 

“Maybe they are talking about something important. They’ll be back before we know it..” Bom answered, Chaerin on the other hand wants to volunteer to go and check on them but knowing Seungri, for sure he will the entire morning

 

 

“You know what, I’ve been thinking about Jeiven and Franchesca..” Jiyong said, Seungri looks at Bom then to their brother

 

 

“What about them?” Seungri asked

 

 

“It’s been a while since they left the house and I don’t think they have enough money to stay in a hotel and they won’t allow two kids staying there without any guardian. I have a feeling that they are somewhere near to us and who knows the two too well..” he answered

 

 

“Kekeke don’t be silly Ji. You know that they don’t know someone else aside from us. If they are hiding at their classmates house, do you think their parents won’t tell Dara?” Bom asked her

 

 

“I didn’t said they are with their classmates..” Jiyong answered still looking at Bom and Seungri

 

 

“Then where?” Seungri asked hoping he sound convincing asking him that question

 

 

“I don’t know, you tell me..” Seungri secretly nudge Bom’s elbow

 

 

“If you are thinking that Seungri is hiding them, that’s a big no no! He can’t take care of himself, look at him..” Bom said, Seungri furrow his eyebrows at her

 

 

“The twins are smart enough to find for much more better place than staying here with him..” Bom added

 

 

“Hey!!” Seungri protested

 

 

“Well I think you are right. I’m just worried about them..” Jiyong answered

 

 

“Don’t be, I think they are in good hands..” Bom answered, she continues on eating when she heard her phone beeps

 

 

Aunt Bommie! Aunt Bommie! We need to change plans now!!

 

 

She almost choke when she read Franchesca’s text, she took her glass of water and took a sip

 

 

“Are you okay, Unnie?” Chaerin asked her

 

 

“Uhm yeah yeah. Sorry about that..” Bom answered, she then type in some words

 

 

What? Why??

 

 

She press the send button and waited for her text to be sent then in a matter of minutes, her phone beeps again

 

 

We found out something and I think it’s not necessary to be hiding from mom, we will give her a call now

 

 

“Darn those kids!!!” Bom blurted out loud, she then look at Chaerin and the others

 

 

“Are you okay? What kids are you saying?” Taeyang asked her

 

 

“Oh those kids. I have a friend who uhm always asked me to look after her kids while she’s at work..” she answered though the boys nods their head, Chaerin looks at Seungri and by the way he looks at Bom, she sense that they are hiding something from them

 

 

‘What’s the matter?’ Seungri asked her, whispering

 

 

‘Those two wants to change their plans and decided to call their mother right now! As in right now!’ Bom answered while typing some text on her phone

 

 

Oh no! You can’t! Your mom is talking with Seung-gi outside, where are you and Jeiven?

 

 

‘What? What are they trying to do, kill us?’ Seungri asked her again

 

 

‘Don’t worry, I told her not to call their mother now..’ Bom whispered back. Little did they know, Chaerin and the others are looking at them though they don’t hear what they are saying but the way the move and react towards each other gives them a clue that they know something about Franchesca and Jeiven. Seungri who sense that they are looking at them, lift up his head and smiles

 

 

“So how’s the food?” he asked

 

 

 

 

 

AT THE TREE HOUSE

 

 

After Franchesca received Bom’s text, she showed it to Jeiven, they both went silent for a while but Franchesca being the persistent one, ignores Bom’s text and dial her mother’s number

 

 

“Are you out of your mind???” Jeiven asked her

 

 

“No It can’t wait. You want to go home soon right?” she asked him, Jeiven nods his head

 

 

“And I want to go home too and be with Mom and Mommy Chaerin that’s why I’m giving her a call right now..”

 

 

“What if she asked you where are we?”

 

 

“Jeiven just leave it all to me please..” Franchesca answered, she was about to dial her mother’s number when she received Bom’s text message

 

 

Whatever you’re thinking right now Franchesca, don’t do it! We can talk later when they left but right now abort your stupid mission!!

 

 

Sorry Auntie Bommie but I need to do this right now

 

 

She dials her mother’s number while she’s looking at her, she waits for her call to connect, Franchesca saw her mother’s reaction when she saw her name on the phone screen

 

 

“Franchesca, baby?” Dara answered, Jeiven saw Seung-gi walks towards her while patiently waits for Dara to speak again

 

 

“Hey Mom..” Franchesca said, Dara smiles as tears starts to flow freely from her eyes

 

 

“God I’m so worried about you guys, where are you? Where’s Jeiven?”

 

 

“Oh he’s sitting beside me, wait..” Franchesca hand over the phone to her brother and let him talk to their mother for a while

 

 

“Hi mom..” Jeiven said, Dara covers with her hands and stops herself from crying

 

 

“Hey honey, how are you?” Dara asked his son

 

 

“I’m fine mommy you don’t need to cry and worry about us..” Jeiven answered

 

 

“How can I not be worried? It’s been days, weeks since you two ran away..”

 

 

“We have a reason why Mom..”

 

 

“Then tell me your reason, honey..”

 

 

“I’ll give the phone back to Chesca..” Jeiven hand over the phone back to her sister and whisper something into her ears, her sister nods her head twice and talk to her mother again

 

 

“Mom?” Franchesca said

 

 

“Your brother told me that you have reason why you two ran away..” Dara answered

 

 

“Yes we do have reasons..”

 

 

“And what is it?” Franchesca looks at her mother who is walking away from the tree house

 

 

“We want you to tell us the truth about Daddy Seung-gi and Auntie Chaerin..” Dara stops on her tracks then look at Seung-gi following her from behind

 

 

“W-what about them?” Dara asked

 

 

“We know Daddy Seung-gi is not our real Father, Mom..”

 

 

“Where on earth did you get that?”

 

 

“I have resources and we know that he is gay..” Dara widen her eyes then pulls Seung-gi towards the inside

 

 

“Franchesca! Stop making up stories like that!” Dara said but her nervousness makes her voice trails off

 

 

“I’m not making up stories mom, you know the truth please stop lying to us..”

 

 

“I’m not lying to you guys..”

 

 

“Then tell us the truth..” she nudge Jeiven’s elbow and points at the monitor, she then cover the mouth piece and whisper to her brother

 

 

‘Check the camera at the kitchen area’ then went back talking to her mother

 

 

“Franchesca? Are you still there?” Dara asked her

 

 

“Ah yeah mom, sorry..”

 

 

“I told you I’m not lying..”

 

 

“Come on Mom, we saw our birth certificates and Auntie Chaerin’s name is written on it” this time Dara don’t know what to do, for all this time, her children knows the truth about Chaerin

 

 

“We accidentally saw it under your bed. That’s why we ran away because you lied to us. You made us believe that Daddy Seung-gi is our father..”

 

 

“Franchesca..”

 

 

“Mom, all we want is to be know our real mother, your other half..”

 

 

“I have reasons why I lied to both of you..”

 

 

“We have reason, you have reasons. We will listen to whatever you want to say Mom, just be honest to us..” Dara closes her eyes and pulls Seung-gi again towards the dining area there she saw her friends and siblings having fun while eating their breakfast

 

 

“Okay, I’ll be honest with you guys just tell me where you are and I’ll fetch you and your brother..” Dara said, the rest of the gang heard what she said

 

 

“Who are you talking to?” Bom asked her though she knows who that might be

 

 

Please don’t say Franchesca, please don’t say Franchesca!

 

 

“It’s Franchesca..” Dara answered, Seungri looks at Bom then the latter did the same

 

 

‘Act normal’ Bom whispers to him but Chaerin notice that Seungri’s face turns to white as snow

 

 

“I can’t tell you where we are right now mom but you can fetch us tomorrow..” Dara heard Franchesca said on the other line

 

 

“No,you will go home today..” Dara answered

 

 

“Mom, don’t make this hard for all of us and we have conditions for you..”

 

 

“Conditions?? What conditions?”

 

 

“First. I want you and Mommy Chaerin to fetch us tomorrow at the playground around 10 am..”

 

 

“Franchesca!”

 

 

“Second, we will tell you everything you need to know and where we stayed but you need to promise us that you won’t get mad at them..” Franchesca said ignoring her mother

 

 

“Them?” Dara asked

 

 

“Yes, them. Third We want to get to know Mommy Chaerin so we need her to stay with us for a month!”

 

 

“Oh no! That’s too much young lady!”

 

 

“Mom if you want to see us again then you need to follow our conditions..” Dara thought for a while, she knows them too well especially Franchesca

 

 

“Mom? Are you still there?” she heard Franchesca called her

 

 

“Uhm yeah, yeah, still here..”

 

 

“Okay Mom and for our fourth and last condition. We want you and Mommy Chaerin to act as a normal couple while we spend some time with her. I think it won’t be hard on you because you two are lovers in the past..”

 

 

“You want me to—“ Franchesca cut her off

 

 

“Yes! Like wife and wife. It’s just for a month. Don’t you think we have the right to know her and be with her? We want to have a complete family but by the way you two reacted towards each other that won’t happen any moment now..”

 

 

“If I said no, I won’t be seeing you guys anymore? Then who will take care of you two? You still needs me..”

 

 

“Yes mom we do need you and her. We’re growing up and we don’t want to have a broken family” Dara pulls a chair and lean her back on it

 

 

“Plus we will tell Auntie Bommie and our Uncles about Daddy Seung-gi..”

 

 

“You wouldn’t dare!”

 

 

“I’m not daring you mom. I’m just saying what I’m capable of..”

 

 

“Okay fine! I will talk to her and tell her everything you said then I’ll call you in an hour or so..”

 

 

“I’ll be the one calling you Mom and say to everyone from us!” Franchesca said and hang up. Dara on the other hand looks at the phone and wants to throw it, her twins are now controlling her life and they already knows the truth

 

 

I can’t back-out now and she’s right. They have the right to know her and be with her. Whatever happened between us is already in the past

 

 

But Dara knows that she can’t forget what Chaerin did to her that day

 

 

“Hey Dara” she heard Chaerin’s voice, she turn her head to the right then without a word, she pulls Chaerin towads the kitchen and they went outside, she stops for a while then pulls her again towards the tree

 

 

“What’s wrong?” Chaerin asked her once Dara let go of her hand, the latter look at her for a while, she sigh and thinks that Chaerin needs to know everything

 

 

“There’s something I want to tell you..” Dara said, Chaerin is just looking at Dara, she doesn’t know why her heart starts to beat faster, she waits patiently and notice the expression on Dara’s face, it’s kinda gloomy, hurt and worried

 

 

“It’s about Jeiven and Franchesca..” Dara starts to speak

 

 

“What about them?” Dara held Chaerin’s hand and squeeze it a bit

 

 

“Chaerin-ah..” she said then close her eyes and say

 

 

“Jeiven and Franchesca..... they are yours”

Sorry if it took me weeks before i updated some of my stories but i'll give you longer updates to my other stories that have not been updated yet.. About Suddenly in My Life, ahm hahaha i'm still in thinking mode whether i'll write a Rated M on my next update or just continue being wholesome nyahaha! But right this moment, i already have my decision ;) anyways thank you for leaving a comment minna-san! I enjoyed reading it and sorry if i don't have time to answer each one of your comments but maybe on my next update (Thank you a bunch! You know who you are)
