The Park-Lee family ate their dinner quietly, the twins are still grounded for what they did but told their biological mother that they want to play with both of them that night

 

“I don’t know, you’re both grounded right?”Dara asked the two who nods their heads

 

“But there’s nothing wrong playing with them..”Dara heard Chaerin’s voice, she looks at the girl standing beside her

 

“Don’t be such a killjoy Dara. We’re here to have some fun and to relax, I know they did something bad a while ago but you don’t need to punish them..”Chaerin added, Dara pulls her closer and whisper something on her ear

 

‘You don’t know these kids that much, Chaerin. Deep down inside I know they are up to something..’

 

‘What could these kids do huh? Let me remind you, Dee. They can’t do anything to us because we’re on an island, there’s no reception here, and we’re on isolation. So what do you think they can do to us?’Dara looks back to her kids and saw them standing quietly in front of them with a smile on their faces

 

‘Come on..’Chaerin whispers again, she walks head first of Dara and stand beside Franchesca

 

“So what you guys wanna play?”she asked both of them

 

“I don’t know Mom, do you have something in your mind?”Jeiven asked her, Chaerin thinks for a while but then shook her head

 

“How about you mom?”Franchesca asked their other mother

 

“I saw some board games in my room..”she answered

 

“Yeah we saw that too but there’s no dice in it. We loved to play monopoly with you guys but we can’t if we don’t have a dice..”Franchesca answered

 

“Then why don’t you think of any games you guys want to play..”Chaerin said

 

“We want to but I think our biological mom will think that we are up to something..”Chaerin looks at Dara who raised her eyebrow at her daughter

 

“No, don’t think of her that way. She’s a cool mom, right Dara?”Chaerin asked her, Dara sighs and she knows she’s outnumbered and even if she is right, there’s nothing else she can do about it

 

“Okay, what games you want to play?”Dara asked them, the twins then give their mother a sweetest smile

 

“We want to play charades with you guys..”Jeiven answered

 

 

 

 

 

DARA’S POV

 

Here we are sitting on the sofa while waiting for the instruction Franchesca has made for us but seriously speaking, I don’t like this at all!

 

“Okay mommies, listen to what I’ll say..”she said

 

“We’re gonna play charades, I’ll be teaming up with Jeiven and Mommy Chaerin you will be teaming up with our mom..”she added

 

Oh this is not good! I need to interfere!

 

“Oh? Why not, me teaming up with you and Jeiven with Chaerin?”I asked her

 

“We already did that mom and this time I want to team up with my brother..”she answered me

 

“Don’t worry, I’m good at charades Dara..”I heard Chaerin said to me, I really want to punch her on the face, I know she’s good at it but.. but..

 

“I know that sweetie but I think you’re forgetting something.”I answered her

 

“Huh? What is it?”

 

“We’ll up against our own son and daughter which happen to be one of the evil twins living on this planet. By means of evil, you know what I’m talking about..”I heard my twins giggles then I look at them

 

“What can we do Mommy? We’re in the middle of nowhere..”Jeiven said to me

 

“Like what Mommy Chaerin said, she’s good at this and you know how bad are we in playing this game..”Franchesca added

 

“Fine! But let’s make some deal..”I said, Well to be frankly, I am feeling okay with this, Chaerin’s good at it and my twins playing this game. Yeah! I think we have this advantage on them

 

“Deal? Nah uh!”Franchesca answered me

 

Kekeke! I can smell our victory! Looks like my twins are afraid to lose

 

“This game won’t be exciting if we don’t have some deal..”I smiled sweetly at the two and saw how worried they are

 

“So what now?”I asked them again, I saw out little boy sigh

 

“Okay, what’s yours mom?”He asked me, I look at Chaerin and she winks at me

 

“If we win in which we will, You both will listen to me starting today until our last day here. No hocus pocus and you must OBEY me in everything I said. No but’s, no whines.”

 

“But—“

 

“Like what I said, no but’s young lady..”

 

“Fine..”

 

“Good..”

 

“Here’s our mine mom..”

 

“Huh?”

 

“Well it’s not fair if we won’t have a deal of our own..”

 

“Okay, shoot..”I saw Jeiven look at his twin sister then whisper something, Franchesca then nods her head and look at me

 

“We want you two to act like you are husband and wife, well from our situation, wife and wife starting today and until our last day here..”she said, I open my mouth but I heard Chaerin’s voice saying

 

“Deal!”I saw her extend her arms on Chesca and I can’t seem to say anything

 

“Okay then let the game begins..”

 

 

 

Jeiven gave two pieces of paper to each of her mother, while Franchesca will be in charge of their papers

 

“What’s this for?”Dar asked the twins

 

“You can write the name of the movies you know, Mom..”Franchesca said

 

“The category is Sci-fi movie of the 21^st century..”Jeiven added

 

“We don’t want you to think that we’re manipulating the game, so we decided to let you guys wrote the name of the movies you know..”

 

“We will do the same but you won’t show it to your partner, there’s no more thrill if we do that..”

 

“Okay, then what?”Chaerin asked

 

“After we wrote the name of the movies, we will fold it then place it inside these boxes. Ours is blue and you guys can have the red box..”

 

“So are you two done?”Jeiven asked their mother who shook their heads and starts to write, the twins put their papers inside their boxes and patiently waits for their mothers to finish

 

“The team, who gets 3 points, wins the game!”Franchesca said after the two put their papers inside the box

 

“Chicken feed!”Chaerin said and smiles

 

“So who’ll up first?”Dara asked the two

 

“Us! You have the advantage against your own son and daughter!”Franchesca answered

 

“Sure thing honey, you both can have the first shot..”Chaerin said, feeling confident that they will win this game in a landslide victory

 

“I’ll be the one guessing, Jei..”Franchesca said

 

“Why do I have to act first?! I’ll guess and you act!”Jeiven protested

 

“Oh no I won’t! Come on, we can do this!”Franchesca said, Jeiven sigh in defeat, he shake their box and place his hand inside and pulls out a piece of paper

 

“Wait, what time I will set the timer?”Dara asked Fanchesca

 

“Two minutes mom..”Franchesca answered and Dara set the timer

 

“Timer starts now!”Chaerin said, Jeiven starts to act and hopes his sister will guess it

 

“One  word?”Franchesca asked, Jeiven nods his head and he starts to drew some imaginary stars and stares at it

 

“Comet?”Franchesca asked but Jeiven shook his head, he acts again but Franchesca finds it hard to guess the name

 

“Falling stars?!”Jeiven give his sister a deadly look

 

“Damn it! You in acting!”Franchesca said while their mothers are busy laughing and looking at the timer

 

“Less than a minute..”Chaerin reminds the twins

 

“Come on Jei!”Franchesca said again, Jeiven then drew a shape again and points out at the window

 

“Beach!”Franchesca shouted still Jeiven shook his head, he then points again outside and on the sky

 

“Nightime?”Jeiven closes his eyes for a while and then throw a pillow at his twin

 

“15, 14, 13, 12, 11..”Dara starts to countdown

 

“Arrgh! I give up!”Franchesca said and covers her face with a pillow

 

“7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!”Dara shouted and Jeiven slumps his body beside Franchesca

 

“Hey kiddos, can we guess it? I think it’s part of the rules right?”Chaerin asked them, Franchesca nods her head and Chaerin looks at Dara

 

“Go, guess it..”Dara said to her

 

“Moon?”Chaerin asked the two, Jieven nods his head and their mothers starts to jump up and down because they got the first point

 

“Okay our turn..”Chaerin said, she told Dara that she’ll be the one guessing it

 

“Oh come on you guys, you still have your chance..”Dara said but she can’t wipe the sarcasm on her face, she knows that her twins will lose this one

 

“Whatever..”Franchesca answered, she then grab the red box and let her Mommy Chaerin pulls out a paper, after Chaerin reads the paper she furrow her eyebrows and thinks if the move she read exist

 

“Ready mom?”Jeiven asked her, she just nod her head once and look at Dara

 

“Timer starts now!”Franchesca said and Chaerin starts to act

 

“4 words!”Dara said and Chaerin nods, she then points at her ring finger which means second word

 

“Okay..”Dara answered, she then points herself

 

“Girl?”but she shook her head, she looks everywhere and saw Jeiven looking at her, she then points her index finger at him

 

“Boy!”Dara shouted but still her guess is not right, Chaerin keeps on pointing at their son

 

“Twin?” Dara guess again

 

“Son?”

 

“Photocopy of you!”

 

“Jeiven!”

 

“Evil twin brother?”Chaerin covers her face with her hands

 

“20 seconds to go..”Franchesca said

 

“There’s 4 words Chaerin! Why do you want me to guess the second word? Try the other ones!!”Dara shouted, she then motion for Dara to guess the 4^th word, she draw a circle and points down

 

“Hole?” Dara said but Chaerin draw the circle again and points down

 

“Your hole?!”Dara answered, Chaerin throws her right slipper at Dara while the twins shook their heads

 

“I don’t know the answer god damn it!”Dara said and Franchesca said that their time is up, Chaerin sits beside her wife and look at her in disbelief

 

“What?!”Dara asked her

 

“Where in the world do you get the idea answering ‘Your hole’?”she asked her

 

“Well you drew a circle and points down, I thought it’s you—“Chaerin covers and shook her head

 

“Forget what I said..”Chaerin said

 

“So it’s our turn now..”they heard Jeiven said

 

 

 

 

20 minutes later..

 

Two pair of eyes can’t believe what they are seeing and hearing, they are looking at two figures who’s been jumping out and down while shouting

 

‘How’s this possible?’whisper the person sitting on a sofa

 

‘Yeah? What happened?’asked the other one

 

‘I don’t know! You’re the one guessing!’

 

‘Hey! Don’t blame me if we lose!’

 

“Well done partner!”they both heard and look at Jeiven high-fiving his sister

 

“Well you improved your acting skills so yay! We won!”Franchesca said and they both jump up and down again, the twins look at their disappointed mothers

 

“Now that we won! Hope you won’t forget our deal..”Franchesca said and look at their Mommy Dara

 

“Deal? What Deal?”she asked, Chaerin nudge her elbow

 

“Stop pretending you don’t know their deal! Sheez!”Chaerin said

 

“Well I forgot about it!”Dara answered

 

“Okay let me refresh your memory mom, we made a deal that if we won, you two will act like you are a real couple, wife and wife!”Jeiven answered happily

 

“Did I say yes?”Dara asked the two

 

“YES!”they both answered, she closes her eyes and nods her head twice

 

“So it means that Mommy Chaerin will sleep in your room for the remaining days our our vacation..”Chesca said

 

“That’s for 2 weeks I think..”Jeiven butted in

 

“Okay! Now will you two shut up and clean this mess..”Dara said and walk-away, the twins just look at each other and start to clean-up, as for Chaerin, she watch her son and daughter carefully, thinking that there something happened or something helped them to win

 

“Chaerin! Can you come in here quick!!”Dara shouted

 

“Be right there honey!”Chaerin answered and run towards the kitchen, she saw Dara leaning on the sink thinking

 

“What?”Chaerin asked her and without a word, Dara grab her shirt and pulls her on the corner

 

“Now tell me, how a charade champion lost to a bunch of kids huh?”Dara asked her

 

“W-well that was a long time ago, sweetheart..”Chaerin answered

 

“Don’t you sweetheart me!”

 

“The twins got lucky you know, I don’t have much knowledge about movies today”

 

“This is what I’m trying to say to you. You can’t mess with those two. AT first we have the advantage but look who won in the end??”

 

“I’m sorry Dara..”Dara sighs and she knows they can’t do anything about it

 

“Well a deal is a deal, not my dear wife, get your bags and place it in my room, move you b*tt now!”Dara said

 

“Okay Capitan!”Chaerin answered

 

 

 

 

 

MEANWHILE..

 

Jeiven and Franchesca continues cleaning up the mess in their living room, they both saw their Mommy Chaerin running towards the room, followed by their mother who looks at them and rolled her eyes at them, when they saw her walks they both giggled and wink at each other

 

“I thought we can’t beat them at our own game..”Jeiven said

 

“Me too! We’re lucky that Faith give us an idea and without our brilliant minds, this won’t work out well..”

 

“I agree, now hurry up and throw these papers away before mom can see it..”Franchesca grabs the plastic Jeiven is holding, they went out of the house and place the trash bag in the trash bin

 

“Now they won’t have any evidence against us..”Franchesca said and Jeiven puts his arms on her sisters shoulder

 

 

 

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED.. (Before the dinner and before the game starts)

 

Jei :  Okay bring it on girl!

Faith : Hmm, let’s see. Are there any games your mothers are good at?

Jei :  Yeah, billiards, cards and charades

Faith : Ok, let’s remove billiards in your list, how about cards?

Jei :  We know how to play cards but I don’t think I can find one here

Faith : Oh, okay. How about charades?

 

Jeiven looks at his sister, they both know that they are not good playing that game

 

“We’ll lose to them for sure..”Jeiven said to Franchesca, the latter starts to type some words again

 

Jei : We at playing charades!  

Faith : Oh that’s a big problem!

Jei :  Yeah! I can’t think of anything else

Faith : Then why don’t the two of you manipulate the game?

Jei :  Huh?

Faith : Control it. They won’t know.

 

Franchesca thinks for a while, her brother is busy playing with his iPad

Jei :  Hmm, I like it! I’ll think of category that we’re good at then me and my brother will choose four stories that we know

Faith : Yes! Then let your mommies choose their own movies too

Jei : If I’ll do that, for sure they will win  

Faith : No they won’t!

Jeiven then looks at the monitor then to his sister

Jei :  I think I know what you are thinking Faith

Faith : Well if that so, I don’t need to explain it to you how you and your twin will execute it

Jei :  Yes girl, I got this under control

Faith : Nice! Just be careful because you know, mother knows best!

 

The twins laughs and said their goodbyes, Franchesca log-out her brother’s account and look at the clock

 

“We still have less than 4 minutes to talk..”Franchesca said to her brother

 

“I don’t get what you and Faith are trying to do..” Jeiven said

 

“This is how it works. We will let Mom and Mommy Chaerin pick the movies they want, 2 movies each..”

 

“And then? How are we gonna beat them?”

 

“We need three boxes, let’s cover our box with blue one while the other two is red. I saw some colored papers inside..”

 

“Wait a minute. Why two red boxes?”

 

“If we want to win, we won’t let them guess the movies they picked, right? And in order for us to do that, we need another box where we can place another four movies, we will hide the original movies they picked and give them the ones we picked out..”

 

“Oh.. So it’s like a decoy box?”

 

“Yeah! That’s it!”Franchesca heard her phone and saw that she has an e-mail, she opens it and a smile form across her face

 

“Why are you smiling?”Jeiven asked his twin sister

 

“Faith give us some list, check this out..”Franchesca hand her phone to her brother

The twins let their mother wins first so it won’t look like they are manipulating the game. They need to act like they are scared and worried in front of the two to boost their confidence and not think that they are up to something. They execute their plan and hid the original box and change it with another box that contains the movies they picked for them

 

It’s time for the Park-Lee family to sleep, the twins knocks on the door of their mother’s room, Chaerin is the one who opens it and let them in

 

“Where’s mom?”Franchesca asked

 

“Oh she in the bathroom, taking a shower..”Chaerin answered and sits on the bed

 

“Okay Mommy Chaerin, so are you guys okay in here? I mean Mom won’t let you sleep on the floor right?”Jeiven asked her but before Chaerin can answer, Dara came out of the bathroom

 

“We have a deal and I’ll stick to it..”she said but the two can sense that she’s nervous and a bit annoyed because they lost

 

“Whatever you say mom, we came here to say good night because I have a feeling that you won’t tuck us on our bed..”Franchesca said, they walk towards Chaerin and hug her, she kiss the twins on their cheeks, the two run towards their Mom and hug her

 

‘Don’t be mad at us Mom..’Jeiven whispered to her

 

‘Beside this is your idea..’Franchesca butted in

 

‘Oh shut up. Now go to your room and sleep, see you both in the morning..’Dara answered and kiss their foreheads, the two run towards the door but before they went out, Franchesca stops and turn around

 

“What?”Dara asked when she noticed that their daughter is looking at them

 

“Won’t you kiss Mommy Chaerin good night?”she asked, Dara raised one of her eyebrows at her

 

“It’s part of the deal mom, remember you need to act like you two are real couple!”Franchesca added, Dara knows that they won’t left their room if she won’t do it, she looks at Chaerin and sighs

 

“Fine..”Dara said, she climbs on the bed and crawl towards Chaerin, the twins smiles as they see how nervous their Mommy Chaerin is

 

“Chaerin..”Dara said, the latter looks at her and without a word, Dara planted a kiss on Chaerin’s lips

 

“Satisfied?”Dara asked the two, the twins nod their heads and giggles

 

“We didn’t think that you will kiss Mommy Chaerin on the lips. Kiss on the cheeks is enough for us. I think there’s something—“Dara cut her off

 

“Go to your room now!” Dara said before Franchesca can say anything, the two run and closes the door, Dara shook her head and notice that Chaerin is still looking at her

 

“What?!”Dara asked, Chaerin shook her head three times and hide under their blanket
