EARLY THE NEXT MORNING

As Dara and Chaerin wokes up, the latter told Dara that she’ll wake up the two while she does her thing. Dara agrees and head to the bathroom first. As for Chaerin she went to the twin’s room. After a minute or so when Chaerin went to the kitchen, Dara is already preparing food for them

“Good morning” she said and smiles at Dara, the latter did the same “Good morning too, Chaerin. How’s your sleep?” as Dara continues to beat the eggs in the bowl

“I slept well. The fresh air helps a lot, unlike in the city” Chaerin washes her hands on the sink “Need some help?” Dara nods her head

“Could you cook some hotdogs and bacons for the kids?”

“Yeah sure. What else?” and she took the hotdogs and bacons on the plate sitting on the table “Uhm I’ll tell you if I need some help later” Dara answered. The two mommies cook their breakfast by glancing, smiling and helping each other though Dara didn’t forget that they needed to act like husband and wife throughout their vacation

After 45 minutes, they finish cooking and setting the table when Jeiven and Franchesca appears at the door of the kitchen

“Morning kids!” Chaerin greeted them as she place a pitcher of juice on the table “Morning Mom! Wow! You cooked all of these?” Jeiven asked when he saw the foods on the table

“Yeah, I thought you and you sister are really hungry so we decided to prepare a lot of dish for you.” Dara answered and motion for the two to sit down. As the twin settle down, Franchesca remembers the deal they had last night and poke Jeiven’s shoulder

“Did you find something?” she asked her twin brother, Dara and Chaerin are watching the two when they saw Jeiven nods his head “Here you go”and hand over a paper to his sister

“Oh these are for you mommies!” Franchesca said with a smile on her face “What’s this?” Dara asked but Chaerin who immediately opens the folded paper had her eyes widen on what she’s reading

“I told Jeiven to search the internet on how real couples should act, like in your case husband and wife” Franchesca explains “He found a list on what you two should do” Jeiven fish out the other paper he got and give it to his sister again

“So first on the list : You should give each other a morning kiss when you wake up!” the little girl happily says it to her two mother “Did you kiss each other when you wake up?”

“We do!” Dara answered before Chaerin can but knowing their own mother, the twin didn’t believe her “We want Mommy Chaerin to answer, did you?” Franchesca asked Chaerin

“We ah yes we k-kissed” Chaerin answered when she felt a nudge on her elbow that the twins did not see “Then can you please show it to us how you two kissed?” Jeiven said, Dara who was drinking that time almost spit out the juice she’s drinking

“Why do we need to show it to you? We said we gave each other a good morning kiss and that’s it” but knowing the two they won’t give up without a fight “But it’s bad to tell a lie mommy, you know that” Jeiven said

“And what kind of mother are you if you’re lying in front of your kids? Shame on you mommy, shame on you” Dara raised an eyebrow at the two but Chaerin whispered something to her ‘Better do it. They won’t stop bugging us.’

‘You’re such a ert! Just say if you really want to kiss me’ Dara answered and look straight into her eyes ‘I want to Dara, if you let me’ what Chaerin said caught Dara off guard. Chaerin lean a little close to her and look into Dara’s lips.

Dara doesn’t know what she’ll do but in order to get this over with, she copied Chaerin’s action and without a word, planted a kiss on Chaerin’s lips.

“Thanks Mom! Okay let’s eat! We’re starving!” Jeiven said but Dara and Chaerin are still looking at each other both stunned on what happened a while ago “Ehem! Jeiven said it’s time to eat” Franchesca reminds the two

“Oh yeah, ah eat! We need to eat breakfast!” Chaerin answered and look on her plater

Wow way to go Chae! Acting weird in front of you kids! You go girl! – Chaerin brains teases. She ignores it and took a sip on her juice.

Aww I thought you don’t like the idea of kissing her? Then why you made the first move? – Dara’s brain asked

‘Oh I swear if you don’t shut your mouth, I’ll be going to shut you down’ Dara whispered and she hopes that Chaerin didn’t hear it.

After the four of them eat their breakfast, Franchesca help their Mommy Dara to clean up the table and do the dishes while Jeiven is outside with Chaerin, they are going to fish for their lunch today.

“Here honey, put those nets inside the boat plus these cans full of worms” Chaerin said and hand over the cans and nets towards Jeiven “Hah! I will throw one of these to Franchesca!”

“Jeiven, that’s not good. Don’t make you sister cry.” Jeiven whines but nods his head “Oh before I forgot, I have the list and it says that you need to do this”

“Do what?” Chaerin asked and she looks at the paper he’s holding and her eyes widen “Baby no. I can’t do this”

“Okay then let’s wait for Franchesca. You tell her that.” And the little boy walks over to the boat while Chaerin is thinking what she’ll do.

INSIDE (KITCHEN)..

“That’s the last one, sweetie! Thanks for helping me” Dara said to Franchesca who is standing next to her while wiping her hands with a cleaning rag “You’re welcome mommy! I can’t wait for us to go fishing later!”

“Me too, this is the first time we’ll do this” Dara answered with a smile on her face “Do we need to prepare food for our trip?”

“I already prepared some, Chesca. Come on; let’s help your brother and Mommy Chae to fix our things.” Franchesca nods her head and they both went out of the house hand in hand. They saw Jeiven wiping the speed boat and Chaerin is nowhere in sight.

“Where’s your Mommy Chae?” Dara asked Jeiven “Oh she said she needs to get something and wait for her here” he answered without looking at her

“Oh okay, do you need help with something baby?”

“No Mom, I’m good. Why don’t you sit down and wait for her. Franchesca mind if I talk to you for a sec?” Franchesca shook her head and went to her twin brother’s side. They were whispering about something and Dara wanted to know what that is.

She’s watching the two talking when she feels a presence behind her back. She slowly turn her head and look at her back and saw Chaerin standing there holding some flowers.

“What are you doing?” Dara asked her “Ah, I picked these flowers for you. Here” Chaerin said and hand over the flowers to her, Dara wanted to laugh by the way Chaerin face blushes.

“Why thank you, Chaerin. You’re so sweet” Dara said, Chaerin smiled and scratch her head and look down “You’re welcome. Thanks for the wonderful breakfast too” Dara motion for her to sit beside her.

“I bet this is on their list huh?” Dara asked Chaerin

“Actually no, the second on their list is to be sweet with you like hug you from behind and kiss your neck but ah you know I don’t want to do that.” Dara furrow her eyebrows “You don’t?”

“Yes, I mean no, ah what I mean is I want to do that but ah since you’re not comfortable doing that I decided to ah you know pick some flowers for you but I will if you want it too. Oh god what am I rambling about?” Dara giggles

“Relax Chaerin. If this is what makes them happy then I think there’s nothing wrong doing it” Chaerin widen her eyes at her “So you mean I can hug you from behind?”

“Ah that’s not what I meant, Chaerin” and she smiles “Haha! Oh yeah, I’m sorry” Dara looks at Franchesca and Jeiven and they are still talking about something. She then looks at Chaerin who is doing the same thing, staring at their children.

There’s nothing wrong if you try again, Dara. Past is Past. You don’t need to bring it back – her brain reminds her but then something is stopping her from letting it all loose.

I will try Chaerin but I can’t promise if we can still bring back what we had – Dara said to herself as she looks at her. Chaerin caught her staring and she smiles at her.

“Is there something wrong?” Chaerin asked her “Nothing, I just miss staring at your face.” Dara then caress Chaerin’s face and her fingers landed on her lips.

“I miss all the things we used to do, Chaerin.” Dara said again and Chaerin hold her hand and squeeze it “We can still do the things we used to do, Dara. Just give me a chance that I’ve change. That I’ll be here for you no matter what happens.” Chaerin’s eyes starts to tears up but before Dara can answer, Franchesca interrupts them.

“Okay lovebirds, Captain Jeiven said it’s time to go now. Continue you’re lovey dovey in the boat, okay?” Fanchesca said

“Franchesca Alexandria!” Dara calls her name but the little girl just giggles and run towards her brother. Chaerin then stands up and extend her hand towards Dara.

“Come on, let’s try to bring back the past again..”  she said
