"Changmin I can hear you cursing all the way over here." The college sophomore plops down the couch beside his dad, a scowl on his face. "Did someone throw rocks at Mangdoongie again?"

The younger man groans, flailing his limbs. "Please don't remind me. But no, it's not that." He faces his thirty-six year old dad and silently thanks the heavens that he's too much of a technology illiterate to even know what Facebook is, much less Twitter. "Would you be mad if I said I got you a cooking teacher? For free."

"Do I fail at cooking that much?"

"Yes."

"Right. If it's for free, then why not." His father shrugs. "Is it the old lady next door?"

Changmin snorts. "He's hardly old and he's a man. He's a senior at my college. Kim Jaejoong. Disaster is his middle name. I gave him your number so expect a call in about... ten seconds. Gotta go take Mangdoongie on a walk now. Bye papa!"

He leaves his stunned father gaping at the ringing device that is unfortunately buried under the couch.





It takes Yunho at least a minute to answer the call. "Does it really take you that long to answer a call?"

A very unfamiliar voice could be heard from the other line and he frowns. "Excuse me?"

"I'm Changmin's bestest friend in the whole wide world, Kim Jaejoong. I assume he's told you about my free service?"

Yunho recovers from his initial shock and nods, mentally slapping himself when he realizes this Jaejoong guy couldn't even see him. He clears his throat. "Ahh, that. Yes, he has. Are you sure it's fine, though? I mean, I don't want to bother you and it's free. I don't think..."

"You don't have to worry about that. You can pay me."

"Oh, then how much--"

"Through dates."

The older Jung splutters. "I'm sorry, I think I heard you wrong."

"No, no. You heard me right, actually. Dates, Yunhoyah."

He quirks a brow. Yunhoyah? Since when are they on a first name basis? He doesn't even know who he's talking to, for heaven's sake! Without much thought, he hangs up.





Jaejoong stares at his phone in incredulity and proceeds to bury himself under his fluffy blanket in embarrassment, wishing for the ground to swallow him whole. Just when he musters up courage to chase after someone who catches his eye, he s it up by saying the weirdest things.

Not bothering to check his appearance, Jaejoong lazily drags himself out of bed and opens the front door only to be tackled on the floor by a very cheerful Junsu, who is wearing his missing cap. He pats the giggly man on the back and doesn't make a move to get up, finding comfort in the cold hard floor.

Blinking, Junsu lies down beside his hyung and grins, tugging on Yoochun's sleeve and pulls him down beside him. The three oddballs are now lying on Jaejoong's hallway for no apparent reason.

"Well..." Yoochun trails off. "This feels nice. But why exactly are we doing this?"

"Because I scared my future husband off."

Junsu chooses to keep his mouth shut, knowing how he's never helpful during situations like this. "Who's this future husband of yours again?"

"Jung Yunho."

"His name seems familiar. I've heard of it somewhere."

"Yeah, well, he's Changmin's dad."

Yoochun guffaws while Junsu stares at him as if he's grown two heads. Well he'd rather grow two heads if that means he could turn back time and undo his mistakes.
